About this house rental
Located in Beech Mountain, this lovely house for $399 per night is a great option for your next trip. Situated on the 1st hole of the Beech Mtn Golf Course and 1.8 miles to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The large upper deck overlooks the 1st hole with long-range winter views. The home is prefect for an intimate golf retreat or a large group ready to hit the slopes. Main living area offers 3 bedrooms with private en suite bathrooms! The down stairs is perfect for kids! Pool table, foosball, arcade table games, and lots of board games. Parking for 7 cars. The home sits directly on the putting green on the 1st hole of Beech Mountain Golf Course to the right with partial views of the 9th hole to the left. All golfers pass by, so the upper deck is an ideal place to watch as golfers try their luck at the first green. There is a small pond within view and is a favorite hangout for the many deer that call the mountain home. Many people make use of the golf cart path as a jogging/walking trail during warmer months. The golf club is open seven days a week from May through October. This property does not have central A/C. As your host, I aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible! My mission is to help my guests create lasting memories. For me to do so, I would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that is has been reviewed WITHIN 72 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, my guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free. Thank you in advance and I truly appreciate your cooperation! Minimum age requirement is 21 in order to rent this property. - No Parties - If guests are found to have had a party which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. - DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR OR OUTSIDE. Bears are known to open car doors and can trash your car if left unlocked with food inside. - No Smoking in the house. - Pets are not allowed. - Please strip bed linens and place linens and towels in laundry room. - Rinse all dirty dishes so that they are free of large food particles, place in dishwasher and start. - Feel free to use the grill but please recover. - Please acknowledge that I or past guests may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. - Do not rearrange the furniture - Do not disconnect and reconnect cabling from the TV or any other electronic devices. - Place all trash in receptacles outside. Please ensure bin is completely closed and raise flag so trash can be picked up by the town on garbage day. - Please ensure that your vehicle is equipped with 4x4 if you are visiting during winter months. The main roads to the property should be maintained however the road the property sits on is not always plowed immediately. It is better that you are prepared for any conditions. If chains for your tires are necessary, they can be purchased at locations in Banner Elk (base of Beech Mountain) Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community and not a hotel, and is also my home when I stay in Beech Mountain, please be respectful of the property and all belongings. Property was poorly maintained, had bedbugs which the host tried to blame on us and later admitted were his problem, but did nothing about it until after we terminated our stay and has since been abusive and uncooperative. He is arrogant and a liar. He should be taken off your site. He is far from a premier host. Not sure all of the reviews are from guests, if you know what I mean. Call me for a lot more.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! It was snowing most of the week so we were able to sled down the golf course and didn’t even end up going tubing. We saw tons of deer roaming around. Property management communicates right away. Everything was clean and beds comfortable. The adults and the kids all had an amazing week.

Property was smaller than what I expected, and no central air was definitely uncomfortable. It was pretty stuffy inside. It is right on a golf course so there are golf carts riding by constantly, I would have preferred more privacy but others may not mind. We had an issue with running into the cleaning crew upon arrival and they left it a mess but the property managers were both immediately responsive and took care of the situation in a way that was reasonable for me.

What a great place to relax and wind down during the week prior to a weekend wedding. The house was perfect for us! The pool table, pac-man and centipede games downstairs were a big hit with my 25-26 year old kids............oh, and I Ieft with the highest score of 25,780!!

Love the location. Beautiful walks in the evening down to the best view and the golf club.
Plenty of room for my family of 13. The grands enjoyed endless hours of play downstairs in the game room. Great pool tables.

We had a great time! We had so much snow the golf course was our own personal sledding hill! So close to beach ski resort. Spent a full day skiing. The bathrooms could use a good cleaning and new shower curtains! But other than that we enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again.

The house was large and set up well for families with children. The downstairs is a tween/teenager paradise with video games, pool, foosball and tons of board games. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and plenty of space for the adults to hang out. There is a great porch which is a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. I highly recommend that you stop at the grocery store before you get to the house. There is a little store called Freds close by that is good if you just need to pick up a few things, but not great for a big shop if you plan on cooking while you are in the mountains. If you are staying in the winter, I would also recommend 4 wheel drive since there are a lot of steep turns. Brad was amazing and responded to all of my questions very quickly. He also recommended some fun activities. The only negative is that the house is on the golf course and they start tending to the course pretty early, so it might be a bit tough to sleep in. With that said, the kids downstairs didn't hear a thing and managed to sleep to 10am.

We had a wonderful stay here at Beech Mountain. Beautiful location and a good escape from the South Ga heat! My kids loved the home and game room. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. Golf course was beautiful. Lots of summer activities to do here: hiking, biking, tubbing, white water rafting, put put, great fire works show, friendly people and cool, non humid weather. Loved the trip!

Great Family Reunion Site
We had a wonderful stay here at Beech Mountain. Beautiful location and a good escape from the South Ga heat! My kids loved the home and game room. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. Golf course was beautiful. Lots of summer activities to do here: hiking, biking, tubbing, white water rafting, put put, great fire works show, friendly people and cool, non humid weather. Loved the trip!

Beautiful Fall Weekend
House was perfect! Enjoyed the deck space, fireplace, and the kids loved the downstairs. Plenty of space to spread out and come together. Great family time in a wonderful house in the perfect setting.

Basketball size hornets nest on eave of the house - very dangerous - could not enjoy the deck.Code was not sent to me before check in - had to call owner twice.Mildew/Mold issue on the bottom floor - smelled very musty- needs to be checked out for mold - we were all stuffy and headaches being there.All shower curtains were dirty and needed to be replaced.The floor near downstairs tub was rotten and felt like you the floor was going to cave in - also they had a floor mat and stunk.No air conditioner in this house. That should be listed that no air conditioning at this house. Some windows did not have screens to open windows to circulate air.No shades or curtain on window in queen bedroom - it faced the golf course where golfers could see in window. No privacy.Most of the closets didn't have poles to hang up clothes.I'm sorry this is so long but we were so surprised with the price of this house that it had so many issues that could easily been fixed. We had a wedding to attend that weekend and it was miserable to get ready because of no air conditioner. Wonderful Stay
The house has a great open floor plan. The kitchen is open and very well equipped. House was clean, Brad is a great host. The kids and adults were very entertained with the pool table, video games and all the board games.

Great Getaway Spot
This house was recently renovated and you can tell and many of the choices made help give the house a nice fresh and updated look and that shows. The location is great for those that want to getaway from everything and just chill. The communication with Brad was great and he was very responsive when I asked him a question. Overall this was a great stay at a great house.
