Huge home, true 4 BR 3 BA with giant great room and open concept. Sliders right out to the beach give it an awesome view!

My husband and I and three of our friends spent 8 days at Champagne Sunrise on the North Side near Rum Point. The house had a perfect set up for our group with a bright, open floor plan. There are multiple sliding glass doors so you always have a full view of the ocean. All of the beds were comfortable and towels were provided. The kitchen is well equipped with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender and many other items which was greatly appreciated. Dish soaps were provided as well along with kitchen garbage bags. You may want to bring your own spices as only salt and pepper were in the cupboard. Also, I would pack/buy some bar soap because there were no hand soaps in any of the bathrooms when we arrived, (before we went to the grocery store). The patio was wonderful. We had our coffee outside every morning as we enjoyed the ocean breeze. There are a lot of chaise loungers and deck chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. There are kayaks available for use with the house. I would suggest staying within the reef area since getting through to the other side is challenging to say the least. One of the best things was an easy access for snorkeling right out front. We swam out closer to the reef and drifted down to the Resort dock where there is a ladder to climb out and walk back up the beach to the house. We saw stingrays, a sea turtle, and an eagle ray on our first snorkel. I would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. The beach setting was beautiful. We felt like we were on our own private island with excellent snorkeling just behind the house. Having access to kayaks and snorkeling equipment that we could use right outside the house was so convenient, as well has lots of places to lounge outside, by the pool and on the beach. The host was very responsive when the hot water and pool light didn't initially work. They were both fixed immediately. The bedrooms and common areas were spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The only drawback is that the house could use some updating, especially in the kitchen. Everything was very clean and organized without all of the clutter you often get in a rental, but the appliances had seen better days and could probably be installed better. The location was great for privacy and quiet, but it is a hike to get to the main area of the island, and to most places to eat. We ate a lot at Kaibo Restaurant, but also enjoyed Tukka, Over the Edge, and Thatch and Barrel. Ocean Frontiers was great for snorkel trips and stingray city trip.

Perfect property for a fun group!

This is our third trip to Rum Point and this house really delivered. From the moment we opened the front door we were immediately drawn to the view of the ocean and were mesmerized by it for the entire week. The house is roomy with nice size bedrooms and the main living area was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed too. The main focus for all of us though was the pool area overlooking the ocean. Beautiful deck lounges and chairs by the pool and on the private beach were a hit for all of us. Every day started outside with coffee watching the sun rise and feeling the breeze off the water. We took kayaks around to rum point, with a great workout on the way back. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. There is nothing we didn't love about this home.

We saw an amazing variety of fish, rays, and sea turtles without having to leave Rum Point. The house provided plenty of amenities ready to use for guests. The teenage boys found plenty to do during our week which was a huge plus. Not necessarily close to any eating establishments, that did not deter us from venturing out, but the families enjoyed grilling at the house and enjoying the pool in the evening as well. Truly a wonderful experience for all on our first visit to Grand Cayman. Cheers to the owners for a delightful experience.

Great time and location

We had such a great stay at Champagne Sunrise! The house was very well equipped for cooking and blending drinks. The layout of the house is perfect for a large family or friends staying together. They had lots of snorkel gear and life vests to borrow. Spacious, great views, nice deck and patio area! The location is pretty far away from the city life, so if you’re looking for a secluded quiet trip, this is your place. The beaches surrounding were very rocky, but there was a nice sandy entry point on the property. There was some amazing snorkeling right in your backyard. We saw rays, turtles, a massive barracuda, and a reef shark just a short swim from the beach. The owners were incredibly responsive. We had a few minor issues (lights not working), and they sent someone to see to it within the hour!

Club is currently closed but we were fine with Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill. Everything else is a drive for sure.

My wife & I were with my son, his wife & three grand-daughters (twins 9 & sis 7). Champagne Sunrise was the perfect size with all the comforts & space we could want for our daily adventures. We all loved the quiet location and the feel of “home” ... we loved our stay!

Champagne Sunset is a beautiful home in a quiet location. Our family enjoyed everything the island had to offer! At home we relaxed in the pool or went snorkeling. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

it's the perfect location for a chill holiday with family and friends. walking distance to rum point beach, but honestly you don't need to leave the house. You can go snorkeling right in the backyard, or just relax by the pool.

Our group of five (two university aged kids plus a friend) could not have been more pleased with this gorgeous well-stocked home. The views of the turquoise sea through the back sliders when you first walk in are just jaw-dropping. The home is laid out perfectly for everyone to have their own private space and for coming together for meals and to hang out together. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, other necessities. Beds very comfortable and despite being next to a public beach, the setting is very quiet and private. Pool and patio are just gorgeous with lots of space for sunbathing, reading, eating, napping. Very clean and the management company was extremely prompt and friendly to deal with. We've been staying for 9 years on the North Side in a smaller home than this, but needed more space this year. It was so wonderful to have the pool and some extra space for everyone. Highly recommend this gorgeous home and we hope to be able to rent it for our next visit to Grand Cayman.

The location and view of the house was fantastic! The house has a perfect layout to give two families plenty of space and well appointed. The property managers (Thelda and Gigi) were very responsive to our needs and questions. If your looking for a get away from it all vacation without having to fight over beach chairs and umbrellas this is the place! Pool was fantastic too!!! Snorkel, sunbath, or walk to Rum Point!

Perfect spot for family of 8. Six kids ages 15-21. The home has everything we needed for a perfect sunny escape at Thanksgiving! Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We have stayed previously on the North side in a property just a bit further to the East. Loved that experience, and Champagne Sunrise proved to be an equally good choice. Great location, house is kept up beautifully, and the pool and view are fabulous. Very peaceful. Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute. Be aware that the entry to the water is extremely rocky, so water shoes are a must. That said, the snorkeling in the "backyard" is very nice, and there is a sandy entry point about 50 yards to the east. Also, the beach sand between the house and the ocean nice and soft -- my kids spent several hours playing there. All in all, a great place. Don't miss the Barbecue under the Big Tree or the tiger fish tacos at Eagle Rays -- both on the East End.

We had a wonderful time with our family at Champagne Sunrise. The house itself is fantastic. It was in good shape and configured quite well for a group. There is a large central common area where folks can gather. Bedrooms are spread out around the periphery of the house, allowing everyone some privacy. The pool/deck area is a beautiful place to watch the ocean, and the gas grill made cooking for our group easy. The location is also wonderful, just a several minute walk from Rum Point. We particularly enjoyed the "drift" snorkel up to Rum Point, which you can start literally right in front of the house. A good description is available from Testudo's Snorkeling Guide (see the entry on the Rum Point drift route). We saw a wide variety of sea life, including some impressive rays and several turtles. Do bring watershoes for water entry, as much of the shore is fairly rocky. Also, the drift snorkel is not for beginners, at least not in the weather conditions we experienced, but it's very rewarding for people who are comfortable in the water. The protected shallows up at Rum Point offer a good option for beginners. The only real downside of this rental is that you're about an hour drive from Seven Mile Beach. Completely doable as a day trip, but not something you would want to do every day.

Seven members of our family came from all over the United States - New York, Texas, Michigan and Washington D.C. - to escape the dreary winter months at Champagne Sunrise in Rum Point! The house was clean and beautifully decorated (we all agreed it looked better in person than in the pictures). It had all the necessary beach house amenities: An outdoor shower, grill, plenty of towels and lounge chairs by the pool and easy walking access to Rum Point restaurants, resorts and bars. The kayaks were an added bonus and the recommendation book the owners put together was super clutch for making dinner reservations and finding activities on rainy days. It was especially exciting when we lifted up the wicker chair tops to reveal a plethora of amazing games that entertained us for hours: Taboo, Trivial Pursuit, playing cards and more. We spent most of our time on the wonderful pool deck, which came in handy since the beach is a bit rocky. Anytime we encountered a little hiccup (we ran out of water cooler replacements and grill gas), the property managers were quick to respond and remedy the issue. We would definitely come again to enjoy the waterfront property at Champagne Sunrise!
