I like the location, the house and the nice hospitality.

The noise during the night , the squeaky bed.

Very pleasant host, helpful. Very close to amenities, a short walk to seafront and restaurants, supermarket or bus stop to bus station where you can get the bus to Faro. Easy to find, police station on corner. All modern facilities. Comfortable. Would suit fit and limber people down to the ground.

BUT the stairs were very steep (risers approx 9-10 inches/22.5-25cm), narrow and did not have a hand rail. I (74 yrs) had to go up on all fours and down on my bottom which means that you cannot carry anything. Never even got to see the roof terrace which was up a similar stairway. Passage between bedrooms/bathroom had steps between levels, therefore need to keep a light on at night. Overall, a nice property for youngish people. Not suitable for anyone less agile or families with very young children.
