Sehr gutes Frühstück das vielfältig, frisch und lecker serviert wurde. Der Chef selbst hat Spiegeleier erster Qualität in kleinen Gusspfännchen serviert. Phänomenal! Für Bergwanderer, Radtouristen, Familien und Tierfreunde ein absolutes highlight. Sowohl die Dame des Hauses, als auch der Chef selbst, sind einfach wirklich tolle Zeitgenossen, die sich hier selbst verwirklicht haben. Im Frühstücksraum ist auch ein Kicker (für schlechteres Wetter) und der Mittagskogel ist von den Balkonen gut zu sehen. Zum See nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß, mit Rad oder Auto. Really friendly people, you feel alone even if all the hotel is fully booked.

A bit old (furniture, doors, bathroom) At the breakfast they did not refill things and after us came at least 9 people and there was just 1 salami slice , on one of the tables i saw omelette and boiled eggs shells, but there was non on the buffet. And to be clear we had breakfast at 8 o’clock ( breakfast time is 7-9:30o’clock)

Great garden and good service

Breakfast was great and room was clean.

Shower was clogged, lavatory runs cold water only. There is no vent in the bathroom and only one tiny window which cannot be opened. Out of "mountain view" we got view on someone's garage and backyard. Breakfast made it somewhat worth the money, but the room definitely isn't.

We had a wonderful stay at Bergbude. The place was easy to find, the room was big and comfortable, the host was friendly, breakfast was delicious. We would be happy to stay there again!

The check in/check out was very uncomplicated. Breakfast was very good with the opportunity to sit outside on a beautiful terrace. The owner was very friendly and also spoke English. The location is perfect, very close to the lake. The room was spacious and clean. The mattress a bit old, but we slept very well despite that! All in all we would definitelly come back again!

Frankie was very hospitable! Great spot close to the Faaker See. Hot eggs cooked to order for breakfast. Recommended!

Quiet room, friendly host. A little older but charming building, clean. Close to main roads, free parking at the building. Good breakfast, a choice of sandwiches, cheese, cucumber and tomato, cereals and yoghurt, coffee and tea.

The host is very kind, and the breakfast is awsome to.

If you want a room with a view, you must request it additional in advance. But it wasn't communicate earlier :(

We stayed at Bergbude in a family room for skiing holiday, It has absolutely matched our expectation with clean and quiet room, helpful host, great breakfast and proximity to the Gerlitzen ski resort.

The host, his son and the dog were friendly. I'm sure the accomodation is much more fascinating and pleasant in the warm seasons.

Wonder why the rating is so high. The room was too small and outdated, very little light as if you are in the basement. The bathroom was too small too and a problem with hot water - it runs after about 5 minutes. The hair dryer is available only at the reception. There's one socket in the room. The room is not suitable for hanging clothes. No soundproofing at all - you can hear every step and voice of the next room's guests. Can't say anything good about breakfast. It was poor and in quantity and variety.

Nice traditional house in a very good location

Our stay was amazing, the hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, we felt as at home. The view to forrest was beuatiful and the visti overall really exceeded our expectation. The hotel owner was amazingly nice, helpful and relaxed, and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you! The location is calm, near Villach and Faaker See, and its good to come with car (even though I dont know about how public transport works).

Typically Austria, the heating is turned iff at night, which i do nit approve. You could turn the heating off during the day, when the guests are gone, but nit at night.

Cozy room. Nice and sweet decorations. You can feel that this is a family run place! And the dog is the best :)
