This was a nice place for my wife and I to stay in the Poconos. The location was centralized and was great to go to multiple sites in the area. The house was clean and suitable for us and the patio and dock area was really nice. The gas firepit and umbrella on the porch was cozy. Master bedroom was roomy and comfortable. We would stay again!

My daughter and I needed a break from the hustle of work. Ray, the Host, was so gracious from start to finish. The house was clean and comfortable. We fished off the dock and went kayaking. We will be back again!!

We loved our stay! The host responded quickly to answer any of my questions. The house and lake were lovely! We enjoyed kayaking and fishing all week. My sons were thrilled about catching a few bass each day along with some pickerel and perch. We would love to come back again!

We stayed here for 4 nights in the summer and loved our time at this rental home. We really loved the dock on the lake and had the best time using the various kayaks and boats. This was exactly what I was looking for when booking a summer pocono rental for my family!! The yard was so pretty - it’s clear the owner has taken great care to make it a place to enjoy. We even saw some deer up close. The home is even nicer than in the photos - everything was very clean, updated bathrooms/kitchen, the fire pit on the deck was perfect with grill, all amenities you need for your stay, plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, hand soap, etc etc. The master bedroom with loft was a nice space. The community was nice. The only thing to mention was that if you want to use the community center or pools (indoor or outdoor), they charge $20/person per day. If you’re staying several days, it may be worth paying the $30/person for a 3-day pass instead. The one day we were there it rained and in hindsight, going to the indoor pool may have been a good choice, although we enjoyed watching Netflix and hanging out. There is also a small beach on one of the lakes with a playground that was free to use. There are a lot of things to do nearby and we enjoyed going to Hickory State Park/Boulder Field (abt 30 min drive) and on our last day after we checked out we headed to Bushkill Falls (abt 45 min drive). This was a great summer trip for us! Thanks!!

Our family enjoyed the property, the lakefront, and the proximity to the waterparks and other Poconos attractions. The walk out the back door down to the pier every morning was great!

This is a quiet neighborhood (great for long walks), and the house was perfect. The owner was so accommodating answering questions throughout the process and during our stay. We mostly stayed home and used the canoe and kayaks throughout the day because that was the big draw for our 11 year old grandson. The 7 acre pond is beautiful, and he especially enjoyed seeing the turtles and other wildlife. But there are water parks and other attractions nearby. The restaurants and carryout places recommended by the owner were perfect. We highly recommend this property.

This property was just as advertised and the stay was even better than we could have anticipated! The hosts were incredibly generous, communicative and accommodating! We enjoyed our time being on the lake and having this amazing property to ourselves. We were fishing from the dock, kayaking at the pond, tanning, resting, etc. There are few points that I want to share that might be useful for others: there are no AC on the first floor; according to the property owner, they will be installed, so you better check in advance if you are renting in summer. it was pretty hot and we couldn't even have the porch door open since there was no screen. The small dining table in the corner of living room doesn't work for 6 people, and there are no chairs for it too. So, having a meal together was always a struggle. Also, although the house has three bedrooms, the third bedroom has a couch, not a bed and there is absolutely no space to put your clothe. Two other bedrooms are spacious, and one of the them (on the second floor) has AC. Also, the kitchen is pretty small, and what was unpleasant is that all the cups, glasses, utensils had some residue, so basically we washed the ones that we need and put them aside so they wouldn't mixed with others. Considering that there is a cleaning fee, I was surprised to see that. The kitchen was fully stocked with various condiments: salt, pepper, spices. There was no blender, no biggie. But I wanted to make smoothies just for fun and didn't find it. I asked the owner and ordered it right away. We received it two days after, and it's size really surprised me: it was the tiniest blender you could imaging. Definitely not good for the party of 6:). So, to summarize: good location, but take into cosideration the above points.

The problem with check-in was that the owner had not sent me the code even though I asked him for it 4 hours before we arrived. We got to the house at 4PM and didn't get the code until 20-30 minutes later. Then he gave me his cell phone and he did respond to texts.
The other issue was the water has a reddish tint, which the owner said was from iron in the soil. He did have many jugs of spring water for us to use but we went to the store to get more. We used the spring water for cofffee, tea, drinking water. Even though the kitchen faucet had a filter on it and the water looked okay, when I tasted it, it was salty; that may have been from the water softener.

Wonderful Getaway to ring in the New Year!
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hospitality from the owner was wonderful. They gave us many suggestions for local attractions and the amenities at the house itself were plentiful. It was great to be able to entertain and relax with family and friends who rented nearby homes. This is a property that we would love to rent again sometime. We can’t thank them enough for making the start of 2020 a great experience.
