Located in Hungry Horse, this lovely house for $650 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Only 10 minutes to West Glacier and located on the South Fork River. River View Hideaway offers you a one of a kind view of the cascading South Fork River, Mountain views and lots of wildlife. Our home is a ranch style home with two levels to give your family plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company. This home offers all the amenities of home including wifi, smart tv's and Air conditioning. The front door opens to the large kitchen including a kitchen island that seats 3 and a large family dining table that can accommodate up to 6 guests. From the kitchen step down into the spacious sunken living area with leather sofa & arm chair, stone fireplace and smart tv. Should you wish to venture to the great outdoors, you can step outside to enjoy one of the many decks with comfortable seating to just take in the views or BBQ your favorite dishes. The main level of the home offers a large private master bedroom with king bed, fireplace, smart tv and private bath with walk-in shower, large soaking tub and private deck. The second bedroom on the main floor offers a private full size bed, fireplace, smart tv and private full size bathroom just off to the side of the sunken living room area. The lower level of the home greets you with a spacious game room with a pool table & air hockey, games and a beautiful new bar with three bar stools to perch up on. This room also features its own private full bath, laundry room with washer & dryer, Queen Size sleeper sofa and more seating. Spend time playing with your family and friends in this fun game room playing cards, pool or air hockey including board games and darts. Step outside to a shared deck or step down the flight of exterior stairs to venture to the river. If you are looking for your quiet time while here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenic reading nook overlooking the river. The lower level does not stop with the fun game room, there are two more additional spacious private bedrooms each with their own private full bathrooms. One room features a Queen Size bed and our unique log room features a Full Size bed. Enjoy the seclusion of this scenic large backyard reading in the outside gazebo, sitting around the campfire or walking to the river (stairs required). Montana is known for its outdoors, spend your time outside grilling, taking in the views or venturing to the river to find all your new favorite fishing holes. EV Charger on property for all your vehicle charging needs. The property is does not allow events or parties on the property. Please note: Montana can become very dry and cause us to be in High Fire Danger. Our fire pit for campfires are not guaranteed to be available due to these constant changing conditions. Please inquire with us prior to your arrival should you have any questions about our fire pit availability. Additional guests must be approved by manager. Max total guest for our rental is 10 guests. This property does not allow pets or smoking inside.At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Glacier View Vacation Rentals. 2025 Reservations: We will open our calendar to all 2025 reservations starting August 1st, 2024. Family and friends vacation to Glacier National Park. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. Beautiful back yard with great river views. The west entrance to Glacier National Pk is fairly close from this house. Christie is very timely in her response to questions.

The property and cabin were beautiful and in close proximity to our activities in and around Glacier National Park. It was an ideal setup for our family - we had ages ranging from children to grandparents, and the space was perfect for everyone. If you’re searching for an idyllic getaway close to GNP, I would highly recommend this property!

This property was gorgeous! We loved the view of the river from the house and yard! The fireplace was great and the kitchen was well stocked. I would highly recommend this property, especially for a family or bigger group of people. Decent little grocery store and a couple of local bars are nearby too! This place is the perfect spot if you are heading into Glacier.

Very close to glacier national park and plenty of options for restaurants and shopping. Nice overlook to the river and a beautiful gazebo/fire pit. The place was clean and the property manager was very responsive

House is a bit older and the family heat took a long time to heat up. Also please beware of the odd step down from bedroom to living room. My 89 yo mom missed the step and we ended up taking her to the emergency room to ensure no broken bones. Several others in our group stumbled as well.

Great place to stay while visiting glacier National Park and surrounding area. Saw deer in the yard one evening and saw an eagle almost everyday around the river that we name Maverick. House was great and our property manager, Christi was great! Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be near the action but secluded!

simple life on the river
This property was probably one of our best finds on vrbo. It sits on the flat head river. The view is spectacular. The pictures on the vrbo site are accurate but much better to see in person.
You will love how the rooms are decorated. There were so many unique pieces of furniture. The beds are comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped. The refrigerator was big enough to hold all our food and drinks. We ate dinner at home daily because the grill was convenient. Plus it had one of the best views in the area.
This property is located close to glacier which makes it easy to get to the trails we wanted to hike.
Christie, the property manager was always helpful from the time of booking until the end of our stay.
We think this property was heaven and would love to come back with our grandkids when they get older.

Great Place to Relax and view Montana
This was a great place to stay! tThe views of the river from in the house, the swing and the gazebo were so peaceful and refreshing. The property is well located to offer many options of things to do, and comfortable to lounge around in as well. We were hoping to travel the going to the sun rd in Glacier but couldn't get a pass. There are still many things to see and other parts of the park to see. The Hungry Horse dam and the Flathead National Forrest that borders it is simply beautiful. Made us not miss going through Glacier.

We have enjoyed our stay here. The view out the window overlooking the river will be sorely missed. It was a favorite spot with the first cup of coffee. The kitchen was a great gathering place, love the table. This was a great base for exploring Glacier and the other amazing venues around Hungry Horse. The Drive around the reservoir is so beautiful in the evening just before sundown. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. Every question was answered promptly. Advice for the Park was very useful as well. Very attentive.

Wow, is all I can say! We had such a great time while at the cabin. The backyard views are breathtaking. We were able to have a fire one night and enjoy some competitive game nights when the weather wasn’t great.
There were 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 8-16) in our group and we had plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. There’s a binder with tons of local information.
We would love to return some time a little later in season (July or August) when the weather is a little warmer and all of Glacier NP is open. Our entire group agrees, 5 stars!

This is a fabulous house. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and there are plenty of places to get away by yourself. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had a great time.

A vacation destination in itself!
Wow! The house was everything advertised! The view from the yard was unbelievable. Fun watching all the rafters and fishermen go by. Our son and grandson got their fishing license and fished right from the bank below the house. A hop skip and a jump to Glacier NP! Perfect location! The master bedroom was a place for us grandparents for a little quiet time. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook our own meals. Crock pot came in handy after a day of hiking (not to mention the whirlpool tub for the old people’s knees). Thanks for opening your house up and sharing it with us! We enjoyed a few days of our week just enjoying the yard and river!

Everyone appreciated having their own private bathroom in their rooms. The furniture throughout was very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with quality pots and pans and appliances. But the real beauty was outside! The view of the river is spectacular and we loved that the river was viewable from the swing, the gazebo, the back porch - or from inside the house. Not only was the river “viewable” but we could easily access the river from the back yard. The Library nook was a favorite quiet spot too! The layout of the house and rooms was such that although we had four couples (total) staying at the home, there was plenty of space and we never felt we were on top of each other. I almost (selfishly) didn't want to post a good review because my fear is that once the word gets out, this place will be all booked up the next time we plan to visit!
Oh, one last thing... the location is very convenient to the West entrance of Glacier National Park - which we visited several times throughout our visit.

Gracious home and hosts in Glacier!
The home and location were absolutely perfect for our needs - just a quick drive to West Glacier and plenty of space for my wife and I and our 5 kids. Everyone loved the home, the yard, the river and the close proximity to everything we wanted to see while in the area. To top it off, the hosts left us a thoughtful welcome gift and note - something we’ve never had in the many years we have stayed in VRBO properties. There was also a welcome booklet with area hikes, restaurants and shops, which we found helpful. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Lovely property on Flathead River. Tons of character. Very enjoyable. Very large with nice amenities. Wonderful view of river. Very difficult to find nice properties like this one close to Glacier Park.

Glacier National Park Family Visit
We enjoyed staying in this large house with our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone as we relaxed after hiking in the Park each day. Glacier was so busy we did not see any animals, but we saw a deer in the yard of this house, very fun.

Great vacation house!
The property is super close to the West gate of Glacier National Park. We had a great time hiking, having campfires at night, cooking and having meals together as a family. From the views, the deck, the gazebo to the game room, we had a wonderful 6 nights! Extra points for super comfortable beds and jacuzzi tub!
