The property worked great for the five in our group. The location is excellent, roughly 10 min to DC and the Mall. As others have noted, there are a few minor repairs that could be done, but there were no major issues there. The one downside to our stay was Nespresso machine, and the inability to get more coffee pods. You can't find them in local grocery stores and Amazon delivery was for large quantities two days later. The Luxe staff could've been more helpful here- we ended up spending 90 minutes on a round trip to Tysons Corner to visit a Nespresso store. If you're a coffee drinker booking this house, plan ahead and bring pods for a Vertuo machine.

No heat ..no hot water..27 degrees outside with 50mph winds..and water running down the wall of the bedroom with mold and staining. Worst of all.. no reply from company or owner for hours! Then did nothing! No communication meant we were on our own to find a place a place to stay with 4 adults and 2 dogs on a holiday weekend. Now are refusing to give a full refund . Stay away from this company “Luxe on 5th” it lists “ Jonathan “ as contact..I never talked to a Jonathan. Hardly spoke to anyone until 11:30 pm to beg for heaters! It was like camping indoors..completely ruined our vacation. Never called.. like we didn’t exist. After over 10 years of renting Vrbos this was the worst experience Ever!

Great place to stay while traveling to the area with dogs. The fenced in backyard was wonderful. So was the designated two parking spots. Convenient and close to restaurants and public transportation. The house is nicely renovated with a beautiful fixtures, tile and high end oven. The only catch was the ants. We bought ant traps and left them in the kitchen and hopefully the house cleaners will continue to leave ant traps.

The house needs some work: • One of the doors going into the bathroom downstairs would not close • The doorknob on the door going into the bathroom upstairs is about to fall off • The house needs paint • Having a Nespresso machine is inconvenient (if you don’t have a car) considering the local grocery store does NOT carry this product. • The thermostat was a challenge to work at the beginning. House was at 53 degrees when we arrived. Positives: • The house is close to public transportation, which is nice. • Neighborhood was quiet and safe

Location couldn’t be better. Excellent bakery nearby- Bakeshop. Excellent Peruvian restaurant around the corner -El Fuego. Small neighborhood store also around the corner. We walked to the subway and explored DC. Super charming house, very European in feel. The washer/dryer was a puzzle. We opted to wash small loads, stop, fluff the clothes and then dry. Thank you for the laundry pods. The Nespresso was new to us too. Found a store just for pods for this machine at Pentagon City Mall. Thank you for the coffee pods provided. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. We felt right at home and so did our dog. First Vrbo experience. Loved it!
