There are lots of places in Costa Rica that look good on the internet. Most of them are as beautiful as the pictures. Even though Costa Rica is a small country, it can take a long time to get from one place to another. I looked at lots of locations. Many of the areas that try to attract your tourism dollars are in the middle of nowhere. Playa Hermosa is perfect. It's minutes from Jaco but away from the chaos. You have dozens of restaurants to choose from, loads of nightlife, a fancy casino, and every activity imaginable a short ride away.. And it's all right here on the Pacific ocean.
