My friend and I stayed at This places and loved it! There were howler monkeys nearby and the property was beautiful. It was a nice, peaceful and private stay just outside the city.

Nice little flat on road into San Ignatio, very handy for the supermarket and popping into town. Hosts came out quickly to fix any issues we reported.

Just far enough out of town to be out of the hustle and noise but close enough for a quick run to town for lunch or supper at one of the many restaurants.

Nice stay relatively quiet( except for barking dogs). Could use a few more kitchen amenities ie paper towels and a cutting board. It is close to many nearby attractions.

We drove down to San Ignacio from our home in northern Belize for my birthday weekend, and managed to snag this place at the last minute, as this is the off season here. We loved the villa for its peaceful setting, location close to town, and spaciousness. It was so relaxing to enjoy coffee on the patio, with the birds singing and butterflies all around. The villa is well-equipped and has excellent internet. The only things that were lacking were a microwave to reheat all of the yummy leftovers from meals in San Ignacio town, and a regular sized coffee maker. The coffee maker worked fine, but only makes two cups at a time. Dave who runs the place was very welcoming, and the grounds are lush, with beautiful flowers and tropical plants. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location for us to explore Tikal, Xunantunich, Carocal, Cahal Pech, ATM Cave. We had our own SUV. The entrance road seemed a bit daunting at first, but by the end of our stay seemed normal and in line with most of the side roads in the area. The villa attached to ours was not occupied, so we enjoyed the privacy in the jungle setting and felt very safe with a gated entrance and fencing all around. The first night we heard howler monkeys nearby. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, wifi was great for streaming. We shopped for groceries at Helen Market five minutes away.

The Framadani Villas was a great place to stay on the outskirts of San Ignacio for our family of four. The unit was as described and met our expectations. Although a car could make it out the dirt road to the property, I would recommend a SUV if you are driving out to it. The tours will pick you up at the unit as well. We did the Caracol tour and the driver met us in the van right at the unit. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was much needed as it did get muggy in the afternoons there even in December. Bring some ground coffee as there is only a french press. Definitely hit the market in San Ignacio for all the fresh fruit and veggies you could want.

This is great little house with all the basic amenities required. It is located in a very remote part of town making it quiet and idyllic with just the sound of birds. Just be careful with the vehicle you use to get to the property - the road leading up to it is VERY bad. Lots of pot holes and dips in the road which may damage a small car. It is better to get a 4x4! A pool would also be nice :)
