3 Sea Front House with Pool, A Balcony in Heaven.
About this house rental
Thai Season Villa's Seafront Houses. Living the dream. Have you dreamed to sleep out on a balcony under the universe with almost no mosquitoes year round. Our balcony's are right on the edge of heaven. Our houses are awesome for people that like a quiet paradise. If you like geckos, eagles, fireflies and the beautiful sounds of birds, our houses can be magical. Most people on earth will only dream of sleeping in an open bedroom designed like a tree house with an open view to the sea and islands. We have not been on Vrbo for a while but this is a review from another site from last week. Tom and Kan you have created a very special and magical place for people to come and stay. We loved it!!! The house has stunning views and it was lovely to fall asleep listening to the water gently lapping at night. The balcony with a pool is awesome and we chose to sleep up their under the stars. We would watch the local fishermen take their longboats out in the morning and listen to the sounds of the jungle waking up. We really appreciated how kind and helpful Tom and Kan were giving us good tips on where to eat they are truly some of the best hosts we have had through Airbnb. We absolutely loved the boat trip they took us on, it was also so lovely for our boys to connect and play together with their gorgeous family. Our kids loved all of the geckos and wildlife we encountered nearby. Honestly there are no mosquitoes here, we slept on the balcony every night for a week with no mosquito net and were not bitten once. Also we felt completely safe here and you could leave your doors and windows open without worry - how often can you say that when you are travelling? We picked up a rental car at Krabi airport and it was then so easy to drive to the island and have the freedom to explore the island as we wished. Top tip - pack your reusable shopping bag, I used mine everyday and helped to reduce the need for plastic bags on the island :-)

this was a last minute decision to stay here, we had previously booked on the other side of the island, but we found this and decided to jump ship, and wow, we are so glad we did,,, oh yes, this place is paradise and the layout and bedroom is amazing, it realy is like sleeping in the jungle under the stars and moon, listening to the wild life at night was so dreamy, and the owners kan and Tom were the most amazing hosts, so helpful and wonderful people, their three boys are so cute and lovely. tom took us out on his catamaran which was amazing, plenty of snorkling and beauty spots that regular tours dont go, and there is a little fishing village next to the villas where you can buy fresh fish, and the locals are so friendly. you do need transport if you want to explore, we hired mopeds quite cheap, 250 a day, and was brilliant getting around on them. this isnt a party place its very quiet and tranquil, perfect for couples and families, we highly reccommend this place, we definately will be returning. thankyou so much kan and Tom for a wonderful experience xxxx

well maintained grounds, beautiful foliage and flowers. houses were very clean and provided the basic necessities for cooking, laundry and living.
friendly and helpful owners available for anything we needed! including recommending places to visit, eat at etc..
Would recommend this for a quiet place for families as you can always travel to the other side of the island (15 min) for the nightlife and sand beaches

I have not enough words to describe how beautiful, calm and comfortable was our stay there. It's some kind of dream. Deep in the forest, right on a beach, away from city and crowd but in 5 minutes from delicious restaurants.
There is some kind of magic in this place.
Totally love it.

Having booked a place on the other side of popular beaches we were wondering what to expect. Communication with the owner Kan was smooth - got most of my answers within hours or a day. Once arrived - the houses were ready and clean (we rented two). They were truly spacious and can host up to two families per house (best arrangement - couple with children downstairs and parents-in-law (as in our case) - upstairs. In terms of equipment - the house has plenty of stuff that allows to do all the cooking, washing at home. Only suggestion - get your western style foods (oatmeal, etc) in Saladan Mart (supermarket in the town after taking second ferry into the island).
As for amenities around - there is plenty to do. The owners have kayaks, there are lovely swimming pools (small but refreshing), very interesting fisherman's village hundred meters away (ask the owner to buy some fresh fish and grill it at your house), Old Lanta town few miles down the road, a few great restaurants nearby (I would highly recommend Shanti Shanti in Old Lanta by a frenchman who knows how to make superb ice-cream).
In case we needed something - Kan was there immediately. Also, if you have children - they will find a company very quickly with lovely three boys of Kan (4,5 and 6 year old). If you love chatting about sea, life in Ko Lanta - sit down with Kan's husband Tom or go sailing with him on his trimaran. If you love beaches - just head over to the other side of the island (20 min drive) and make sure you make turn at the beach going South, not North so to get to the most pristine and wild beaches of the island.
In summary - great place to stay if you want a calm, peaceful time with your family, away from crazy bars that stay opened and make noise till early morning.

It is a bit of heaven. The place is wonderful and had the feel of home. The view was spectacular, the owners are right next door and were very helpful. My daughter, myself, my friend and her neice stayed for the month and toured from this home to other areas such as Phuket. We always had a place to come back to as well as we rented motor bikes and toured the island on many occasions. We always felt safe and taken care of. This place is a must!
