About this house rental

Situated in Currimundi, this attractive house for $160 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This is a 2 bedroom duplex close to the beautiful Currimundi lake and beach. It has its own private entrance, parking and fenced garden. The unit is a 3-minute walk to the estuary and 10 minutes walk along the beautiful lake-side path to Currimundi Lake and the dog-friendly beach, which is patrolled during the holidays and weekends. The space The unit has two bright bedrooms which sleep 4. There is one queen bed and two single beds. Linen and towels are included for 4 people. The large comfortable living room opens out to a shaded, covered patio, with an outside table and Weber Q BBQ, so even in the rain it's possible to eat outside. There is a large grass area for the children and pooch to play and also a ping pong table. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay, however the kitchen is old. So *please* don't book this unit if you want a fancy new kitchen and bathroom. Both are dated and our unit is priced accordingly. There are fans throughout but *no aircon*. The sliding doors in the sitting room and both bedrooms open to the outside and have security mesh screens so they can be kept open day and night to let the breeze in. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome to stay - we have the best dog beach! We ask that wet sandy dogs be hosed down and dried before coming inside, there is a hose and we leave some old towels outside the back door. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms, extra cleaning fee will be charged for excessive dog hair. The duplex is very private with its own driveway entrance and private, pretty, well-fenced garden. We live in the adjoining duplex, so are usually available if there are any issues, but give guests their own space and don't bother them at all during their stay. Currimundi Beach is great for families, with a safe lagoon area perfect for the little ones and a beautiful patrolled surf beach for those keen on bodyboarding and surfing. We think Currimundi is by far the Sunshine Coast’s best dog beach - with over a kilometre of off-leash beach south of the lake for your pet to swim, dig and run wild. North, across the lake mouth, is another 1.5 kilometre stretch of off-leash beach. There is a beautiful coastal cycle path alongside the lake to the beach which then runs south to Dicky and Moffat Beach all the way to Caloundra and beyond. Currimundi Lake has a couple of cafes that serve great breakfasts and lunches and also has canoe, kitesurfing and paddleboard hire for you to explore further up the lake. Thills Espresso Cafe has live music at weekends and serves wine and beer - the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the lake....and they are dog friendly. Mooloolaba is just 15 minutes drive and has award-winning restaurants, a beautiful beach and the newly renovated vibrant Wharf. Caloundra is just 8 minutes. 40 minutes further north is the chic seaside town of Noosa.

We had a fabulous time staying here! Eva did everything to make sure we were well looked after during our stay! Great communication from the moment we enquired right up until after we left, she made us feel very welcome. We had two young children with us (aged 6 and 3) who were thoroughly entertained by the books, games and toys that were there for them to play with. Absolutely loved that this house felt like a home and everything was well stocked so you felt like you were welcome and the owners had thought about ensuring you had a comfortable stay and that you had a fantastic time in Currimundi- which we did! Would not hesitate to stay again, we had a great time! Thank you Eva and family!

Perfect stay for the family. Location is amazing. Just by the lake and beach. Great coffee shops and near to the dog beach. House is as advertised with everything you need for your stay. Well stocked with every day items. We loved Currimundi and great access to the rest of the Sunshine Coast.

Fabulous old style beach house. Beautiful garden and lawn, perfect for our little Bichoodle. Very comfortable 2 bdr cottage with good BBQ and outdoor eating area. Beautiful walks and great cycling paths. We look forward to staying here again when we come to the Sunshine Coast.

Great accom and Eva was a great host. Very accommodating. Big yard for kids and pets. Kitchen and bathroom were a little dated but not a hindrance. The beds could do with an upgrade though.

What you see in the pics is what you get. Eva was very friendly. Everything you need for preparing & cooking meals were at the premises. Washing machine as well as iron & ironing board are in house. Internet was available & fast speed. Lake & ocean walking distance. EXCELLENT STAY. Will definitely use again

Good little place reminded me of my holidays when I was a kid, especially with the old kitchen. Everything was comfy and just made you relax instantly. Great place to bring your fur babies, wow what a great backyard. Garden is really nice and the grass is so lush, the dogs loved it (no grass at home). 10min walk to one of the best beaches it was so beautiful. 5 mintues to shops. All over a great little spot.

Perfect spot for a quiet break within walking distance of Currimundi inlet, surf beach and dog friendly cafes. Very dog friendly. Loved the outdoor space, fenced back yard and good sized interior rooms with lots of sliding glass doors. Kitchen is in need of a major update, but overall I'd stay there again.

We had the most amazing little getaway and was wonderful to be able to bring our dog. The bed was so comfortable and the place is so incredibly quiet we were able to have long sleep ons! Very close to a few dog beaches and plenty of room for our dog to play outside. Highly recommended and plan to come back again! Thanks so much!

We booked this property because it was dog friendly and it was perfect! Lovely area with great walks and a beautiful off leash beach only 10 minutes walk away. There is a very secure yard with a beautiful garden. The house is very comfortable. The only thing on my wish list would be a queen/king bed - but that is a preference thing. Lovely break thanks Eva.
