Situated in Athens, this attractive condo for $475 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. We call this apartment MK1. MK1 is a huge, classic loft that offers stunning views of the Acropolis and panoramic views of Athens. This 195 sqm apartment offers comfortable living spaces and a beautiful, green balcony of another 175 sqm. The lower floors of this building are still used by various small workshops that make jewelry and clothes. The apartment can sleep up to 8 people in three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The second bedroom has a dedicated queen size double bed. The third bedroom has two singles. There are two full bathrooms. The apartment has a comfortable living area with a flat screen television. There is a lovely handmade, working desk and a large dining table. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, 4 gas rings, 2 extra electric hot rings, fridge, coffee maker and all necessary crockery, pots and cutlery. The apartment also has a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. MK1 also offers A/C and free WiFi. The apartment has independent heating controlled by the guest. It is located on the 5th floor and has lift access. Location info This apartment is located in Psirri, minutes’ walk away from Monastiraki and Plaka. Monastiraki station serves the Athens International airport and the port of Piraeus. Plaka is the heart of Athens historical city centre, where most main monuments are located. Psirri is a place where you still find lovely artisan shops such as candle making and leather workshops. It has great restaurants, cafes and art spaces. You will also find grocery stores, bakeries and the Athens Central Food Market, the famous Varvakios Agora. Walking around Psirri can be deceiving as it has many old buildings and lots of street art. The street art scene has produced many outstanding artists and their work is widely photographed and admired. The artisan shops, the residents who greet each other by their first names and the visitors create a place of unique character. CHECK IN INFO • We are happy to provide flexible check in and checkout times, so just let us know when you would like to arrive and depart and we will do our best to satisfy your requests. Please note that depending on availability check in will be by 3pm and check out is by 11am. • For arrivals between 21:00 and 09:00 we recommend to use our reliable taxi drivers who will pick you up at the airport and check you into the apartment. The cost is 45 Euros up until 23:00 and 60 Euros between 23:00 and 05:00. (mini van for larger groups also available). Alternatively, if you make your own way to the apartment, one of our staff will welcome you at the apartment. There is a late check-in fee of 20 Euros, which you need to pay upon arrival.

This is an awesome property! Walking distance to pretty much everything and a fabulous bakery a block away. Yannnis is friendly and helpful. It is spacious and pretty much exactly as described. The view is amazing! Can’t say enough good things about this property. We were sad to go.

Seven of us stayed here recently and found that the location was perfect. All the amazing ancient sites and museums are a short walk away. A large selection of good restaurants are also very close. The coffee shop and bakery on the corner is superb! The apartment itself is comfortable and well-appointed. We highly recommend.

We really like this property! It has a wide-open floor plan, spacious kitchen and dining area and a lovely balcony with stunning views. It has two spacious bathrooms, a washer and drying rack necessary for us to continue our travels in comfort. The property has a elevator/lift which we appreciated when transporting luggage and our elderly friend. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and glasses and guests had plenty of towels. This property is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurant cafes, grocery, market, and mainline bus routes. Our generous host allowed us to drop our bags early in a nearby storage/office. The only recommendation i would have is to put all of the twins in one room so that the couples can sleep together :) . Thank you for a lovely stay.

The apartment is just as it is shown, modern, very clean, spacious, comfortable. Wi-Fi works great. It had everything that we needed. Don’t let the outside of the apartment building fool you, this is a gorgeous apartment and just a short block from a wine bar, bakery and two blocks in either directions for more shops/restaurants/etc.

This apartment couldn’t have been better situated. Don’t be alarmed at what the immediate surroundings look like (deserted, industrial with lots of graffiti) I never felt unsafe. You are actually a block away from a magical neighborhood of shops and restaurants along cozy streets in a vibrant community. It’s busy but not loud or obnoxious. Trendy but not too touristy and not gentrified. You have an easy and interesting walk to many sites but the metro (which is easy to navigate) is close and a straight shot from the apt. The view of the acropolis is spectacular especially when the parthenon is lit up at night. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, spacious and very clean. Managers were helpful and communicative. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This apartment was awesome. HUGE living room/ dining area. Beautiful kitchen. The outside patio deck is ginormous. Furnishings are minimalistic and very comfortable. The view of the Acropolis is outstanding. Day or night it is beautiful. The area looks a bit sketchy when you arrive but come late afternoon all the restaurants open up and you are about 200 feet from them and lots of shopping. Turns out graffiti is everywhere. It’s just a few minute walk to an energetic square…Monastiraka. We definitely will return here again. Jacob and Lia are the property managers and are THE most responsive pm’s we have ever had. Jacob help us tremendously and so quickly when a few unplanned important issues came up. He also met us at our metro stop and walked us to the apartment pointing out good restaurants, coffee and pastry shops and markets. So very helpful.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful property! Close to shops, restaurants, hop on hop off bus line… And you can’t beat the stellar view of the Acropolis! The manager made arrangements for us to be picked off and dropped off at the airport (easy in and out) and they were available for all of our questions and needs. I would definitely stay here again.

We were absolutely amazed at how beautiful the apartment and the magnificent view of the Acropolis from the deck was. The location couldn't be better. Just around the block from a wonderful village with 100s of restaurants and shops, walking distance to the metro and square. The accommodations were very clean and spacious. The hosts were amazing. We had several changes and problems and they were always right there to accommodate and help us. We highly recommend this apartment and it will be our choice again when we return to Athens!
