Flat was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels; iron and hairdryer looked new, fresh milk and teabags etc were very welcome. Flat was very quiet and although a bit of a way out of town we just got taxis everywhere.

The curtains were very sheer which meant the room got very light very early and the bathrooms would benefit from mirrors! But these are very minor details because the standard was exceptionally high.

Bed, pillows and duvet were really comfortable

This was the first time I had rented an Airbnb and I was not impressed. No mention of two flights of stairs to get to the flat and had to search for flat as numbers didn’t run consecutively so for an elderly couple carrying suitcases it wasn’t a good start! Heating all over the place and we were thankful there was a fan heater available, toilet in on suite didn’t flush, toilet brushes disgusting, insufficient toilet rolls, no bin in one bathroom, welcome pack of coffee tea etc had no sugar. These things might seem petty but for the money paid I expected a lot better.

Parking at the property was great. The bed was comfortable and ensuite shower good

The main bathroom only had a bath and no shower. Some lights did not work, the cooker was frustrating to use and there was no brush or cloths to do the washing up with. The furnishings were adequate but it was not very homely
