About this house rental
Our home on Davis Love is the golf cottage of dreams. Located in the heart of Fripp Island, the new owners of this property have totally remodeled the entire home into a beautiful getaway perfect for your next vacation. From golfers who want to hit a few rounds on the course, or families who want a quick stroll to the beach, all of Fripp's fun and relaxing amenities are just a short walk away from this cottage. Complete with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home comfortably accommodates 8 people. Features include screened-in porches, brand new kitchen appliances, an outdoor shower for easy beach cleanup, wireless internet, and a breathtaking porch view of the Ocean Creek Golf Course. A 4 seat electric golf cart is available with each rental but it is not included in the rental rate, rates vary depending on season and length of stay. Many guests park their cars upon arrival and use the golf cart as their primary form of transportation. Golf carts allow for leisurely rides around the island, where you can connect with Fripp's natural scenic beauty and easily visit its countless amenities. Fripp Island Guest cards are available with the cottage. These guest cards are required for access to the resort amenities, including golf and tennis courses, restaurants and bars, swimming pools, and more. The cards vary in price depending on season and length of stay. If you opt to purchase amenity cards, a 12.8% resort fee will be added to your reservation. This resort fee will only be added if you choose to add amenity cards. This property is NOT pet friendly. Renters must be 25 or older to rent our cottage. Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee. Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property.

The house was just as pictured, a bit tight but great for 4 women golfers! Close to both Ocean Creek and Ocean Point golf courses which was wonderful. Loved the roosting Egrets each night in the little pond behind the house. Enjoyed our stay!

We would stay here again. Worked well for our family of 3 and conveniently located to the beach. Comfortable beds, good wifi signal, great back screen porch. We love Fripp and this will be a favorite property to rent.

This is a very clean and really nice property. We enjoyed everything especially the view of the birds and the golf course and the lagoon. Very comfy beds and a quiet location. It is on the small side, perfect for one family Mom and Dad and two kids or two couples. The location is ideal and close to beach access. Again, very clean and really nice! Thanks for having us.

Perfect for our small group. We lived on the screened porch and loved watching the deer. The golf cart was a huge plus to explore the island. Clean, wonderfully decorated, gorgeous view.

This was our first time to Fripp Island. The house was as stated in the listing. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for 4 people. We loved visiting with the deer each day and riding around in the golf cart. I think we'll be back to Fripp and stay at this house again.

26 Davis Love was an excellent property for our 3 generation family vacation. The listing was accurate and the house had a kitchen perfect for family meals. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was updated. The only negative is the lack of hooks or places to hang bath towels or wet clothes to dry. The bedrooms were also a tight fit for 7 adults and their stuff. We made it work, but it was tight. We would come back again, if we had fewer family members staying.

This was my mom and I's annual Mother's Day trip and we were not disappointed! The house was just as described! It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook in if you wanted. The house is in the middle of the island and it close to a beach access, the Marina and the Beach Club. It was great having the use of the golf cart to explore the island. We enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening coming by to say hello! Even though this will sleep eight (4 queen beds) I think having that many people, especially if it was all adults, would be a bit too crowded. This is much better suited for one or two couples or a family with two kids. Regardless of that, I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

We had company for several of the days we were there, and loved taking them around Fripp and Beaufort. As for the house - beds are wonderful! The house is easy to use, and keep clean. The kitchen is small and functional for a single cook. Loved Hunting Island that is so close by.

Property was very clean, furniture comfortable, and accurately displayed. The only issue was the electronic keypad code we were given was inaccurate but the property management group cleared that up. I'm very OCD about any place I stay being clean and this property met that standard which I was happy about.

We loved this property! It was beautifully decorated, everything we needed was provided and more! The beds were very comfortable. We added on the golf cart and that was a wonderful add on. We were a close ride to the Davis Love playground and beach!!! Was just perfect for my husband, myself and our two children (ages 8 and 5).

The property was clean, organized, and guest friendly. The decor was beautiful and inviting. The water behind the house welcomed birds and deer alike. We didn't have to leave the porch to appreciate the wildlife. The golf cart made exploring the island so much fun. We cruised around all of Fripp while my children giggled with excitement. The marshes and the ocean make for the perfect getaway. We loved and appreciated our stay. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven!

The property was clean... but very crowded with furniture and hot. You cannot adjust the thermostat below 72. It doesn't sound like a 'problem' except that the thermostat is in the coolest part of the house leaving the rooms very warm due to he large sliding doors. Instead, they ask you to close all curtains and blinds as though you are a vampire. That still didn't work. It was 60's outside and sweating inside.The house is clean, beds are soft, furniture is new and looks great.The house is full of furniture. So much so that you will likely not go more than a day without hitting your toe or knee on something. I know it makes us sound clumsy, but if you rent this place you will understand. While it may "sleep 8", you would not want to be in the house with 7 others. Most doors do not open all of the way and they used half doors due to how crowded it is. There's just too much furniture... no matter how nice it is.We rent a few houses/cabins each year and normally I do not leave a review. The thing that bothered me the most about this one was how hot it was in the house. They said adjusting it below 72 would freeze the unit. That only happens if it is low on coolant and if that is the case, fix it. This made it difficult to sleep. If you are a bigger person, I do not recommend this place. If you like the house to be warmer, this will be great.

This was a perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. House is well-appointed and beautifully updated. Mid- island location is you close to beach and marina. If you are bringing your boat, be aware that there is no boat parking at the house. This wasn't an issue for us, as we had rented a slip at the marina and reserved parking for our trailer there.

We were thrilled to vacation at this property. The views of the golf course and local wildlife were great. My kids enjoyed seeing the deer that gathered behind the house. Beach access was close enough to walk if we needed, but the golf cart was a game changer. My kids loves riding around when we weren’t out enjoying the beach. We will come back and hope to get this property again next year.
