Facility would be amazing in the summer, as it's so close to the beach. it's super close to the Katwijk car free shopping street and there a quite a few supermarkets within walking distance. We were there in winter, the room was nicely heated and there are air units so I imagine in summer will be cool. We didn't use it but here was a lovely balcony with seating.

My only gripe would be the small cupboard squashed away in one corner of the room, not easy to access and badly lit. There is no lift, and typical for traditional Dutch houses a very narrow steep staircase. Something to keep in mind if you have heavy suitcases or less mobility.

Die Gastgeber waren ein junges Ehepaar. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück wird auf dem Zimmer reserviert. Parken ist in einer in der Nähe liegenden Tiefgarage preisgünstig möglich.

Hübsches und gut ausgestattetes Apartmentzimmer in zentraler Lage, man ist in 2 Minuten am Meer und auch im Ort.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und kam jeden Morgen in einem Körbchen. Die Zimmer und auch die Küche sind sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Induktionsherd mit ausreichend Töpfen und Besteck. Eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Wasserkocher gibt es auch. Vom Tee und Kaffee bekommt man jeden Morgen Nachschub. Die Unterkunft ist fast direkt am Strand. In ca. 2 Minuten ist man schon in den Dünen. Nachts ist es manchmal etwas lauter, weil dort direkt mehrere Restaurants sind. Parken in den Tiefgaragen ist am günstigsten und wird empfohlen. Man hat in der Umgebung auch direkt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

There was an awful banging on the roof throughout the night

The location is very nice for both relax vacations near the see and also it was not difficult to go by busses and\or trains to the beautiful places of the Netherlands.

the staircases are quite steep

Nice hosts. Amazing apartment. Super clean. Amazing location 5 min from center, 1 min from beach. I come to work at ESA-ESTEC: lovely walk back and forth. It would have been nice to have a bike. Thanks.
