The while atmosphere of the home, the big rooms the lovely kitchen.

My preference is a stand alone shower but I would still come and stay again.

Fantastic

Location was perfect for attending Knit August Nights conference . The house was warm and comforting and I love the details that have gone into decorating the house.

Great bedrooms, poor light in lounge, found it better to sit outside which weather allowed us to.

The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable,the kitchen was well equipped to produce Christmas dinner. Not applicable What did you like?

The outside was not clean - a half full bag of weeds lying in garden and weeds growing in paving. External walls were dirty as were windows. Cobwebs around in the veranda supports and just a feeling of unkemptness externally. We went to use the BBQ and found cockroaches. One bedroom had drawers beside the bed with used tissues and rubbish in it from previous guests. Got down the portable trays to eat from,only to find they were dirty from prior use. We were paying preminium prices, so we had an expectation of preminium care.

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was clean comfortable and really well equipped, we would definitely stay there again! We forgot to write in the visitor book, but we would highly recommend the cottage to anyone. Close to town too!

Lovely property. Quiet location. Comfy warm beds. Well equipped kitchen and basic supplies.

No pantry in kitchen. So food stayed in bags on floor Prefer walk in shower rather than over a bath

Everything else about the cottage - cosy and comfortable for 3 adults & 1 child (5yrs), lots of storage space in the bedrooms & kitchen, enjoyed the covered deck by the kitchen, location was a bonus and communication was quick.

On arrival we found a few huge cockroaches but it didn't dampen our stay. The glass panel to the top part of the front door is see through, meaning people walking on the street or driving can see in the hallway - we did find this very weird. It would be good to have a tumble dryer as well, especially if you are staying longer or there's more people or the weather is crap. To be fair, we didn't need one for the 2 nights we were there.

Clean, tidy, good location to cbd & Ahuriri. Great facilities incl heating, coffee maker, tv, Wi-Fi. Bedrooms are large.

Master bed is quite firm which made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep. As it’s on a fairly busy road we got the odd drunk person walking past yelling thru the night. But nothing too bad. Couch is quite small so couldn’t relax on it - would be difficult to have more than 4 ppl there.

Booked through booking.com and was disappointed at the hidden costs,cleaning,linen,service fee which I was not expecting from the advertised price there was mention of fees however thos was a substantial amount and from prevoous bookings with booking.com did not expect this

The laundry charge is a travesty. 10 nights and we would have been up for $230 in laundry.

WE WERE SURPRISED AND ANNOYED THAT AFTER AGREEING TO A FINAL FIGURE OF $501 FOR TWO NIGHTS WE WERE CHARGED $23 A NIGHT FOR A LAUNDRY CHARGE. We regarded this as a sneaky add-on especially as the laundry was not changed after the first night, and we didn't expect it would be in reality. The cottage is delightful, but the after quote add-on left a bad taste in our mouths and would prohibit our using the cottage in future.
