Nestled in Murrells Inlet, this charming house for $194 per night is a great option for your next trip. This first floor unit is pet friendly. (For a fee)The view from my dream home is incredibly beautiful.(We live upstairs in a separate unit.) With the sound of the ocean echoing over the Inlet in the still of the evening makes my humble abode a dream place to visit. With so many choices of things to do year round! Our place resides on the Waccamaw Neck bike way, which is over18 miles of paved multiple purpose trail used for walking, cycling and hiking. We are walking distances to restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating , fishing swimming etc.

This property is so delightful! Positive vibes, great creature comforts (snacks, coffee, personal care, pillow bonanza!) great location, so clean and artistic decor (owner is the artist!)! We will stay here again so we can experience the intriguing outdoor space too! Loved it!

We had a great time, especially our pup. He loved being able to stay outside in the fenced in yard. We just wished we had felt better the beginning of our trip so we could have enjoyed this place a little more. Shug was a great host and this place is close to every thing. We will keep it in our list for next time for sure.

We visited Huntington state park and Brookgreen. Both places were outstanding. We had some great seafood and some soft ice cream. All located in close proximity

It was a great stay we really enjoyed ourselves. We had car trouble and they refer to a good mechanic everything worked out well. They are very good people.

Not only was this a great place for me and my boyfriend to stay, but a great place for the dogs too. We had rented this place not know it had a fence for the dogs and when the host told us we were thrilled that our fur babies could have a place to run around and play. The host was amazing with any questions we had and would always answer the phone if we called. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a cozy place for them and their pups!!

The place was beautiful, impeccably clean and so very comfy! All of the gorgeous decor was made by Shug or other local artists. Shug was just warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We were a little leery because the pics were dated 2013 but it was even better than pics. We were close enough to all the action yet had a nice quiet place to come back to and relax at the end of the day or even for a little nap. We will be back and look forward to staying at Shug shack again.

My wife and I were really excited about our stay. There was some bad weather coming in (bad enough to shut down Myrtle Beach) so we made the choice to unfortunately not go. We reached out through VRBO to the owner and never heard a word back. Not even a "We stand firm with our cancelation policy and don't allow date changes". We rated the stay a 3 because we did not stay and it would not allow me to leave them blank. If it looks anything like the pictures then i have no doubt that it is a beautiful place to stay. Communication is very underrated and goes a long way. Try communicating back with the people who communicate with you.

Shug’s Shack had everything we needed, conveniently located, easy in& out. Loved sitting on the patio in the mornings with coffee. Our day at Huntington State Park Beach was so nice. Whenever we need another “beach-fix”, we’ll check on this again!

I came up for the Carolina country music festival from Charleston. shugs shack is the perfect spot away from downtown Myrtle busyness, but close enough to drive to the festivities. The actual location was very clean, cute and quiet. I absolutely loved the unique sea shell decor. We will 100% be visiting this VRBO again. Thank you Shug!!

The place is very nice and cozy. They knew we were riding down on a motorcycle in the rain and made sure the garage door was open so we could roll in. Super nice and will stay here again

We spent a few days in the area scouting for location to move to maybe. We enjoyed the location of this property. It was easy to get to and get to other places along the coast. Definitely would recommend staying here. Our dogs enjoyed it as well.

We loved this cozy and relaxing unit. Eclectic and artsy, comfortable bed, great outdoor area to sit and enjoy dinner and a drink or two. The owner is super friendly and supplied us with treats and you can use their pass for Huntington Beach State park nearby. Great getaway, and it is dog-friendly. Highly recommended.

Quiet, comfortable & well appointed accommodations conveniently located to all Murrell's Inlet has to offer. Hosts were friendly, hospitable and welcoming to our entire party (including our 9 month old puppy) but respected our privacy. A welcome & refreshing alternative to the hustle of Myrtle Beach that allows you to truly enjoy the 'Salt Life' at it's finest. Perfect fit for our vacation goals. Highly recommend.

Booked 4 nights to house hunt in area. Shug's was exactly what we needed. Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. Owners were super attentive to any questions or needs. Next time I come down to Murrell's, Shugs Shack will be top of my list.
