Super hosts and a great place to stay

Hosts were brilliant, really friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do locally that you probably would not have found on your own. Excellent breakfasts, including home made bread, served on the balcony with a good view.

A gem of a place!

This holiday apartment in Hermanus left me utterly delighted and amazed. To put it simply, this place is a gem. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The location of this apartment is nothing short of excellent. Situated in the heart of Hermanus, it offers convenience and easy access to all the attractions and activities that this beautiful coastal town has to offer. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a foodie, or simply seeking a tranquil getaway, this location has it all. The hosts were organised and welcoming. The apartment itself is a haven of comfort and style. The furnishings are top-notch, with every piece of furniture exuding both luxury and functionality. The beds, oh the beds, were incredibly comfortable, ensuring that we all had restful nights of sleep. And then there's the kitchen - an amazing space equipped with everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal or simply enjoy a leisurely breakfast. One of the highlights of this apartment is its impeccable cleanliness and maintenance. It's evident that the owners take great pride in keeping the place in pristine condition, and it shows. The spotless rooms and common areas made us feel right at home. We traveled with a group of six adults, and this apartment provided more than enough room for everyone. The beautiful balcony and entertainment areas were the perfect spots to gather, relax, and take in the breathtaking views. During our stay, we were lucky enough to visit during whale watching season and witnessed numerous majestic whales right from the balcony. It was an experience we'll never forget. If you're considering a stay in Hermanus, look no further. This holiday apartment is, without a doubt, one of the best places I've had the pleasure of staying in. With its unbeatable location, superb hosting, top-notch furnishings, and unforgettable views, it's a true hidden gem. Don't hesitate for a moment!

The apartment is wonderfully situated in the center of Hermanus Bay, which provides the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and its whales. The pool and the garden are fantastic.

The only small drawback: since we went in winter on windy days, all the windows of the house allow a lot of drafts. During the night, despite the heaters being present, it was quite cold.

We wished we could have stayed longer - we plan to stay again.

The best view ever. Stunning location, well kept lawns, and lovely pool for summer. Balcony was a bonus. We loved the fact that there were 3 bathrooms for the 3 couples. The decor and the cutlery/crockery were upmarket and carefully appointed. Electric blankets for winter, and coffee pods for Nespresso, lovey touch of roses and welcome biscuits.

Bayview 203 has incredible sea views and all the luxuries in the apartment that anyone could ask for

Bayview 203 is an exceptional apartment. It has all the luxuries you can ask for and more! The sea views are absolutely heavenly. Our family loved staying there and we hope that we will have an opportunity to spend another holiday in this apartment:) Thank you to Lydia for welcoming us as we arrived and giving us a little tour of the whole property.

Clean, comfy apartment with spectacular views of the ocean (and plenty of whale sightings from the balcony and bed!)

Incredible views of the ocean - saw whales breaching from bed. The pool area was lovely too.

Had a marvelous stay!

Easy access into property from street. No security gates/ security checks at entrance. Someone can very comfortably walk in and hide in corridors. This was a serious concern.

A home away from home

Bayview 203 is a truly amazing luxurious apartment with the most amazing sea views. Very clean place with morden finishes, stunning bathrooms, comfortable beds, spacious cupboards and a well equipped kitchen with all appliances working. The WiFi worked perfectly all the time as well as DSTV channels. The photos on Bookings.com don't do the apartment justice as it is actually much more spacious than it appears. It's centrally located and walking to town, waterfront restaurants, market and cliff path was very easy. Beautiful well manicured garden with stunning pool and braai area bordering on the ocean. Lydia and Janine were very friendly and accessible. This apartment is highly recommend. Our family will definitely visit again

It would be great to have access to private braai facility. Maybe add a fireplace or bigger heater in the living room for cold days. These are not deal breakers though as we still had a lovely stay. And note all the bedrooms have electric blankets and bathrooms have wall mounted heaters. Do remember to book and pay additional charge for cleaning services.

We loved this apartment! We will be back next time we are in South Africa! Thank you!

Lydia and Henriett were amazing and a pleasure to talk to. I had multiple emails and conversations with Henriett. Lydia met us at the apartment and went through everything with us. She provided her number and kept in touch - especially about the "load shedding" as we had no idea how this worked. Truly great service from Henriett and Lydia!

After booking we received instructions to call Janine when we were close to the apartment. Janine did not answer her phone when we were on our way to the apartment. I had to phone the office and ask them to send someone else to meet us at the apartment. Coming from Canada, we did not expect the power outages. We were however provided with battery operated lights and Lydia sent me all the latest information regarding potential power outages.

The most exciting and beautiful view from the balcony and main bedroom. The flat was very modern and clean with great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Ideal location opposite a supermarket and 10 minutes walk to town centre. very close to cliff walk

An exceptional property

This is truly an exceptional property. The apartment is modern, well specked, spacious, exceptionally clean and has the most amazing view of the ocean. The complex has a swimming pool and entertainment area that literally borders on the ocean and affords one with amazing views of the sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in the Hermanus area.

Stunning Views of the Ocean and Bay

A beautiful spacious apartment Clean and well situated, It must be noted that the Pool and Braai facilities are amazing but are not Private for the exclusive use of the apartment 203 as stated on the Advert by Booking.com But for the whole apartment Block! That being said we had the privacy we needed and Loved the Amazing Sea Side Facilities Will defiantly be back!

Although the Apartment was all we had expected the Advert on Booking.com was a little misleading as it states that this apartment comes with a private pool and Braai facilities, That is not the case! Its in an apartment Block and the facilities are shared with the Block!
