Great price and location (and nice place overall), but found out first night that all beds are the most basic, hard beds out there with no mattress protectors or pads. Made for rough nights, so much so that we decided to leave a day early because our whole family was exhausted and needing a good nights rest. Also, seems to have some bug/wasp issues. We killed pests the entire time. Internet/Wi-Fi didn’t work but Vacasa was very responsive in getting a tech. ( and very responsive in general and helpful with communication through our stay!). I assume overall, that the great price we got for Labor Day weekend was a reflection of the place.

The condo was fine for our stay. It was a good value for Seabrook. The bedrooms are small as is the living space. This wasn’t a major problem as we spent most of our time outside. We did have an issue with insects; multiple wasps, a bumblebee, crickets and ants were all found in the unit. Some of us had ants crawling on us in our sleep. As this unit is elevated, it is strange that there were so many ants. I think it’s obvious that they need to get a good pest management program in place, and make sure all openings to the outside are caulked/sealed.

Excellent, quiet retreat from the city. We loved the second floor living and bedrooms up and away from the street with great views of the landscaping. It was a little confusing figuring out how to use the amenities, but the helpful staff cleared that up.

We loved staying here. It had enough space and is nicely updated. The bathrooms look great. It was very clean and we had no issues. Everything that was needed was there. Could only need a table to eat outside. Location is very close to the beach and pool.

This was our third trip to Seabrook and the Sealoft Villas. The location is great and we have loved our previous stays. We were disappointed in this property and Seabrook Island this year. The property management, Vacasa, texted repeatedly for the first two days yet were unresponsive when I let them know about missing and broken items. We were given two incorrect codes for the neighborhood pool and did not have access to it during our stay. The mattresses were old, cheap, and missing mattress pads. Bathroom doors were broken, kitchen cabinets and appliances showed a lot of wear and were breaking down, the upstairs window blinds were stuck open. Overall, it was a ver tired property compared to others in the same area. The Seabrook Island pools were extremely crowded this year and they now require non-members to wear unremovable neon wristbands all week like you’re at an amusement park. You have to pay a pretty steep price for towel use at the beach club and are strictly not allowed to use your own. We often eat at the Pelican Nest several nights during the week, but couldn’t even get in until the last night. It was a nice trip overall, but we will be looking elsewhere next year.

Staying on seabrook at various properties biannually for 30 years. Know the island and properties well. Accommodation was fine. No surprises good or bad. Minor issues-no hair dryer. Beds (mattress) was old, worn out, sore back after two days. No battery in ceiling fan remote for living room. Burned out light bulbs (dining room). Biggest problem was both toilets had dried fecal material on side walls of the bowls upon arrival. Had to drive to Fresh Fields for cleaning supplies (none in unit) and self clean. Hence the 2 rating for cleanliness. Rental company was apologetic.
