Enjoy the true Leelanau experience in our centrally located custom log home! Located just outside downtown Leland and Fishtown - the harbor, shops, public beaches and many hiking and biking trails of Leland are just around the corner. However the home's property at the end of a wooded cul de sac still feels quiet and secluded. Our log cabin home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, with a bedroom/full bath on each level - making it a perfect place to host up to 3 couples or a multi-generational family. There is a main floor master bedroom, large upstairs loft with a queen bed plus bunks, and fully finished walk out basement with the third bedroom and a family room/TV room. We love to cook and use the vacation home ourselves, so you will find the kitchen well stocked - not your typical rental kitchen. Great for families and stocked with a Pack 'n Play, baby gates, high chair and games. The TV includes a Roku stick with YouTubeTV and more, plus Sonos wifi speakers on two levels. And we welcome your well behaved pets too! In the summertime enjoy the large deck, outdoor furniture, fire pit and Weber charcoal grill. In the winter, cozy up under a blanket with the wood stove or take a soak in the master jetted tub. Located in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula, Fishtown Lodge has easy access to Northport, Sutton's Bay, Traverse City and Glen Arbor. Enjoy the areas many wineries, breweries and restaurants or beaches, hiking and biking trails. You will love your stay at Fishtown Lodge!

I had a great week with my 2 pups at Mike’s lovely cabin over Thanksgiving! He was the perfect host, with quick communication to answer all of my questions and to offer suggestions and advice on restaurants, hiking trials, wineries and other things to do, locally.
His property is the perfect combination of relaxation and quiet, yet close enough to town for a quick walk or drive to enjoy all that Leland has to offer. The people in Leland are also very kind and it was easy for me to make new friends throughout the week of my stay. I really could not recommend this property enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Overall a wonderful stay at this fancy log cabin home! We had 4 adults and 2 children and we could have definitely had a couple more people with us. Plenty of space! The kids loved the loft area that had bunk beds and toys. All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of extras. The location was close to the main Leland area - maybe a 2 min drive. Communication was good with the owner, very responsive if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Had an amazing week in Leelanau county staying at the Fishtown Lodge! Perfect spot for our family trip. Walking distance to Leland shops, beaches and restaurants. Minutes away from wineries and all that Leeanau county has to offer. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable, great kitchen, amazing deck - the list goes on. Perfect week!

We stayed with another couple. Each of us had our own living space so this worked great. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The whole house is filled with nice touches. Loved close proximity to lakes and Leland. Would be happy to stay again.

We had a fun week up north. Mike was great to work with and answered all our questions promptly. We walked into Leland a couple times to shop. Bike trails are great too. Beautiful cabin with lots of space for everyone. Best ice cream is found at Leland Harbor House!!

My husband, our two sons and their partners, and grandchild stayed for five nights and were very comfortable in this spacious, lovely home. Everything we needed was available. We cooked several meals, enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit, and spent evenings doing a jigsaw puzzle.
The host, Mike, was very communicative about everything from garbage pick-up to lawn care workers. The property was located within a three minute drive to downtown Leland and beaches.
All in all, a good time was had by all! I highly recommend this property!

Dad passed on March 17, 2022, mother and four daughters choose Leland, favorite spot from years of boat travel from Grand Haven. FishTown Lodge was perfect for our cozy stay. Easy hike to Leland, private setting, kitchen perfect for all meal prep and enjoyment. Gorgeous sunrise views across the pennisula when it wasn’t a blizzard. Mike was always only a text away with questions that arose. Wonderful host! We look forward to coming back sometime.

Mike was so great to work with. Excellent communication. Quick to respond. Cabin is beautiful. We enjoyed games, puzzles, the ping pong table and the location. Quiet street. Beautiful home. Everything you need for a comfortable stay can be found here.

The lodge was clean, loved having 3 bathrooms for the 6 teenagers we had with us and the kitchen was well stocked and easy for preparing meals. The loft area was fun hangout too! Over all, a very great experience!

We had three couples stay and the home was perfect! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We were close to town, trails. We did a wine tour on and a great dinner at Riverside Inn close to the home. Thank you!

Our only issue was that we didn’t realize the upstairs area was a loft and not a closed bedroom. Kitchen definitely has everything you need if you like to cook or entertain. Otherwise, great location to Leland/Fishtown, amazing morning and evening sunrise/ sunset areas!!! Owner was easy to get in touch with and always responded when we had a question! Had a wonderful time!

Fish Town Lodge is ideally located within walking distance of Leland. Located in a quiet cul de sac with deer grazing the area most evenings. The house is spacious for family get togethers.

Family vacation
The house was very nice and in a good location, the owner was easy to communicate with. Would of rated this property 5 stars but it did have some issues with not being clean in some key areas, I did point the issues out to the owner and hopefully they will be addressed.

We had a family get-together and needed enough space to spread out. This house was perfect! And it was a 2-minute drive down the road into Fishtown. We could have walked if we wanted to.

Perfect Location --- Close to many
House was in a perfect location. 30 minutes to anything we wanted to do. Great space for dogs as well. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable home
We had a fabulous time in Leland! The house is lovely. Looks like a rustic log cabin on the outside but is perfectly modern on the inside. Had everything we needed. The location is great - within walking distance of all the cute shops and restaurants in downtown Leland. We can’t wait to come back!

The Perfect Getaway!
This home is very nicely maintained and a fantastic location! We enjoyed the huge deck area and that they table inside was large enough for all of us to play cards at night. Under a mile to downtown Leland. Very comfortable space. Loved it!!!

We stayed in Fishtown Lodge for 3 nights for our first annual Family girls only getaway. It is a beautiful property and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect and there was a wide variety of activities nearby. Something to satisfy everyone in the group. I would love to come back and stay here again. The conversations/interactions with the property manager were fantastic!

We stayed in Fishtown Lodge for 3 nights for our first annual Family girls only getaway. It is a beautiful property and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect and there was a wide variety of activities nearby. Something to satisfy everyone in the group. I would love to come back and stay here again. The conversations/interactions with the property manager were fantastic!

We booked for a mid winter break to enjoy some snow shoeing and winter activities. The cabin was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4 and pet dog. The kids loved the ping pong table in the basement! Mike was very responsive. Would definitely stay again. Glad we had a 4WD truck in this region for winter!
