Inside, an open floor plan greets you. Lake views shine through the windows on the left. Family entertainment is a breeze with the layout of this cozy space. Whether you're curled up on the sofa, or sitting at the dining table there's a spot for everyone to enjoy. A country kitchen with oak cabinetry offers the perfect place to whip up your group's favorite meal. Spend the day browsing around the Ithaca Farmers Market and bring home local produce to add an extra fresh flare to your dish. Two bedrooms on either side of the house offer comfortable sleeping for six. The master bedroom offers a breathtaking lake view with private ensuite bath. A wrap around deck offers the perfect spot for entertaining your guests after a long day of wine tasting! The views from this location truly can't be beat! A fire pit located below the house in great for enjoying evening campfires and great company! Lakeside Tranquility resides in a residential area which allows for great evening walks along the water. Right on the water's edge, with waves washing up under the house and a wonderful deck overlooking the water, this comfortable, well-equipped and spacious house is all about the lake. Bring kayaks & flotation devices -- house does not provide. Shore is rocky and swimming is better at the very nice Long Point State Park up the road. Ithaca has great attractions and this was our daily destination. Walking along Honoco Road is an interesting way to experience this unique shoreline community.

Loved that it was close to the water, dock and small beachy area. Not a lot of steps to go up and down. As we were an older group this was helpful. When they say the road the house is located on is 10 mph believe them. It is a private road and maintained by homeowners so is not fully paved and smooth. Drivers are very courteous and lots of places to pull over to pass. Just factor that in to your driving time Kitchen was very well stocked. Master bedroom mattress was very hard for our liking so I slept on the sofa. The porch was amazing. It had not been cleaned when we arrived so the furniture and railings needed a good sweeping which I did. I did call and they did offer to send someone the next day to clean but I opted to do myself so we could use right away. Plenty of living space to watch movies, play games and cards. Would stay again

Good: on the lake. Old and dated but good interior. Very peaceful. Large master and bath. Kitchen very well equipped. Bad: very small guest bathroom. No exterior cleaning performed. Lots of cobwebs on all the chairs and elsewhere. Ugly: mostly unpaved, extremely narrow, single lane in and out with a10mph restriction. Very hard to turn the car around, especially if in an suv. No shampoo in either bathroom! The guests have to guess this is the case and stop by a store to pick some up.

Rented this house for a weekend getaway and it was everything we needed. Ten steps from Cayuga lake and amazing fishing. House was very clean and well equipped. Was surprised to find they left goodie bags for our dogs with treats and a toy, which the pups enjoyed very much. Just wish we were able to stay longer. We will be back!

This was our first (but not last) experience with this property. The pictures do not do it justice, that's how good it is! Extremely well maintained all the way around and literally on the water. The only drawbacks are there is no real lawn to walk your pet if you have a dog, and that the property is tedious to get to (15 min at 10 mph) once you are on the private road, but once you are there it was worth it :) We will certainly stay here again!

House was immaculate. It had all of the amenities needed for a nice stay. Beautiful master suite. Spacious deck overlooking the water. Postcard quality pictures every night. A very nice place to stay.

Very nice property. Loved listening to the waves lapping the shoreline all night. It was a rainy cold day when we arrived and we were welcomed by a nice warm clean house. Thank you for allowing pets. There is a park down the street with hiking trails and waterside. Great place for walking the dogs.

Great house. Right on water. Very nice inside. Had wi-fi and smart tv which were very important. great town nearby. rented boat on lake, which was great. grocery store is about 35 mins away, which wasn't bad. we highly recommend this property to others and had a great time with our family

Upon entering the property the views of the lake were amazing. This place was very clean and relatively well organized. The pictures for the rental shiuld be updated as ita current layout is much nicer than the pictures portray. I would definately rent this place again.

The house was beautiful, clean and well-stocked for cooking including blender and crock-pot! Very animal and child friendly with gated area to allow them to play but safe from water. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful we have ever witnessed. Property pictures were true representation of the house. The location is slightly remote but the house and lake was why we rented it. It definitely felt like home. Our dogs came back exhausted so it was a good vacation.
