Located in James Island, this attractive house for $301 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to your peaceful oasis on James Island! Our 3br 1ba unit is located 4 miles from Folly Beach and 8 miles from downtown. You'll be able to enjoy all the benefits of both the city and the beach. This beautiful home has a private main entrance and plenty of parking in the 3-car driveway. All your basic amenities are provided for you within the house so that you can focus on what really matters: enjoying easy access to both beach and urban attractions. There's something here for everyone and we hope you enjoy this lovely space and the location as much as we do! Certificate of Operation #00971 The Space: The house is a split level and set up like a duplex. The landlords live on the bottom floor. You will have private access to the driveway, main entrance, and top floor, which is the 3bdr, bath, kitchen, and living room during your stay. The only shared space is the laundry room on the bottom floor. The relaxing, open layout can be enjoyed in the bright accommodating living room. The living room includes a wall-mounted 42-inch flat-screen TV with ROKU which features Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Pandora, and any other streaming service that you have access to. The TV antenna also provides local channels to stay current. PS3 with games and DVD'S. You can rest assured that the wifi will keep up with your demands if you are here on business, or if everyone is using their wifi devices, with the 500mbs of high-speed internet. A Newly renovated, reasonably equipped kitchen, includes a coffee maker with coffee, a toaster, blender, rice cooker, and even a crockpot for those long days at the beach. There is also a large sink, a full-sized refrigerator, and dishwasher. Get a good night's rest to recharge for more adventures in the spacious king bed, stay relaxed in the beach-themed queen, or get some work done in the stylish modern room with bunk beds and a small office. New linens, towels, dish towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and basic seasonings are all included. In addition, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap are included. There is also a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer located on the bottom floor which is shared with the landlord. The laundry room and supplies are free to use for our guests as well! Guest Access; Our guests have private access to all of the following:, the driveway and some off-street parking, the main entrance, and the entire top floor. The top floor consists of the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms. The laundry room has a jack and jill layout and is the only shared space in the house. It is located on the bottom floor of the house and the guests may use this space as needed. Our Location: The house is located in James Island which boasts being a prime location in the Charleston area. James Island is mere miles from Folly Beach and the city but also has many other attractions on the island. James Island County Park is only 3 miles away and has a waterpark, dog park, playground, free splash zone for kids, rock climbing wall, ropes course, biking, crabbing, boating, and kayaking to list a few of their amenities. From this location, the nearest grocery store is only half a mile from the house. There is also a Walmart, Gold’s Gym, and a handful of restaurants less than a mile away. Additional locations and attractions such as the Angel Oak Tree, Trophy Lakes, Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Sullivans Island, Mt. Pleasant, and the Charleston International Airport, are all within less than a 25-mile radius, Kiawah being the furthest. James Island, SC is a wonderful location to explore and lay your head at night to recharge for a seemingly endless array of sites and activities that are available here in Charleston, SC.

we went to the ocean every day. Folly beach is beautiful. We found this sea food place named gillies. It was amazing. Then we came back and made more sea food that night. The place was very nice. And clean. It is in a nice little neighborhood. The pw.ers do live down stairs. But they never bothered us. The only thing i didnt like was we had to b quite after 10.

This is a good spot between the downtown area and Folly Beach. We had all we needed to prepare our meals there and rest at night. We enjoyed taking in the sights while visiting SC. You could tell the host cared that you have a good stay. The house is set up like a duplex with the owners living in the unit below.

Due to hurricane Ian we couldn’t stay at the house. I’m supposed to get a refund due to the owner canceling. Thanks! I do hope to get to Charleston and would book this place again. You need to make your survey able to reflect emergency situations like this one. Please don’t hold the negative ratings against this owner!

Very clean and we found all we needed. However we did have a problem having access to the washer and dryer. The property could use towel racks in the bathroom. We did have a comfortable stay and would come back sometime.

This was a great location to get to the beach relatively quickly (there’s always beach traffic but the distance was close). It was also a nice location to get into Charleston for dining out or shopping. 5 of us had plenty of room!

The stay at this property was phenomenal. It is located within miles of both the beach and downtown Charleston. Keep in mind that you will be sharing the washer and dryer. So plan accordingly. Other than that, I would highly recommend.

We came to Charleston for a girls trip and had a blast! The VRBO was a great location and easy to maneuver with our car rental. We saw the best parts of Charleston easily and were able to enjoy home comforts here. Very thankful for the hospitality!

House was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. It was nice to have toiletries provided too. The location is between Folly Beach and downtown Charleston which worked out great for us. The only issue I have is being forced into purchasing a security insurance policy or being forced to allow a large security deposit hold on my credit card which I wasn't comfortable doing. I honestly don't know if that was the owner or a VRBO requirement but it seems a bit excessive and I have never had to do that with any other VRBO reservation.

Very nice. Bed was comfortable. We mostly ate out so didn’t really use kitchen but everything was clean. Could hear family below but not a big deal. Location is great and easy to get to most places and then return as home base.

The location of this property was absolutely perfect! Pretty much in the middle of Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. The home was very clean and they made it feel like home. Owners were available anytime for any questions and their Welcome binder was very well laid out. Overall, our stay was great! Would definitely recommend and use again.

The house was perfect! The hosts were gracious. (We found out belatedly about a laundry room in the house but once we did- all was super amazing.) Location to beach, downtown and everything you needed was close.

We needed a short stay in Charleston that was close to the city and Mt Pleasant to see my niece. This home was perfect 20 to 30 min to both. Adam and Heather were very sweet and accommodating. Adam answered all our questions before we left home regarding weather and places to see and do. The kitchen was well equipped we only needed it for breakfast as we were only in Charleston for the last part of our SC vacation for 1.5 days. It was clean and beds were comfortable. I would recommend this home if you want a place a short distance from the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I brought my mom and 3 adult kids to the beach for a few days. My mom loved the thoughtful touches of additional throw blankets and beach towels (as most of us forgot ours). We are going to start renting a place in Ocean Pines, Maryland and this rental most replicated what I am looking to do for my renters. Nicely done!
