The staff tried to make the best of it

Smelly, stuffy room, windows could not be opened. Loose and broken sockets. You should get money for the overnight stay instead of paying for it.

Never again will I stay there due the roaches

Location

Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors both had low battery’s so they chipped and went off every hour at night AND at night baby roaches were in the bathroom running around!!!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

nothing at all! we had selected pay at property and thought we were good! had already let them know ahead of time we would be running late for check in at roughly 7pm! well at 630 we get a call stating they were having issues running our card! I stayed I would not be paying til we arrived! I lock my card on trips and only unlock it when I am about to use it to prevent fraud! the lady told me i needed to give her the payment over the phone or she was cancelling my room! by then i was only 20 min away and stated I would be there in about 15 min! we had been on road for 6 hours and just wanted to get there, pay and relax for bit! this was our anniversary trip/ work weekend and we were tired! so we get there and go to pay for room she stated our room was cancelled! my husband was talking to her and was like we have been on road for 6 hours and just want to pay and relax! welllllll… SHE STATED THAT WAS NOT HER PROBLEM!!! glad my husband was the one talking to her because I would have flipped the hell out!!! he told me let’s just go! we got a Room at Microtel and it was GREAT!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Good thing I was exhausted. All I needed was sleep.

Room not up to expectation. Run down walls and ceilings.

No coffee facility in the room. Towels and bath towels as coarse as sandpaper. No telephone. Tv remote worked when it wanted too.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely nothing.it was filthy and not at all like pictured. Of course there was no refund i ended up staying 1 day and getting a different hotel

There was roaches a gap under the door. The tub was black the wall sockets were out the mattress was disgusting

Will never stay there or book there again went sum where already that was cleaner and had a pool for

There was nothing to like about this place no outside tables asked if I can BBQ outside and he said he wasn't sure

I didn't even stay there booked there the a.c didn't work he said it need sum time to start so went and bought fans and still no a.c tried to move me rooms but I payed for a room with 3 beds and said only thing he can do is move me rooms but they only have 2 beds said well give me a refund and so no if I want he can give me all my money back to go get another room

I didn't like anything at all the room was felthy food on the ground and toilet paper every where smelled like meldew I asked for a different room said no so I told him to clean the room his self and he basically just half ass sweep it I would never stay there again rather sleep outside no joke.......

I am warning anybody who is thinking about staying there don't do it......I talked to at least 3 other guests they said never again.......

Room size, beds, and temperature we great

Room floor and walls can use a good cleaning. I have children so they don't like being indoors with shoes.... after an hour of them being barefoot in the room their feet were almost black in color..

It is always a great place to stay especially when you have family with you and also have stayed there with just my wife beds are very comfortable room is also very clean staff very friendly in our 6 stays there never had one single problem they are always very courteous we will definitely be coming back and staying there again in the near future and also recommended The Pelican Inn to other family members that will be arriving this week I told them this is the place we always stay at very affordable and friendly staff very clean
