FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT US. Welcome to the A.U.R.A. Stylish 5 bedroom 5 bathroom apartment. This is the third spacious apartment at the A.U.R.A. complex (created May 2021), a privately owned and managed property building, in probably the most convenient, quiet and beautiful Athenian neighborhood named Thission, right in the Athens historical center. A most convenient and stylish apartment with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms of which 4 en-suite. As the property owner, I have been the physical host, responsible for the accommodation and welcoming of visitors since 2014 in other apartments of the same building. My effort consists of giving emphasis to details and making guests actually feel they are being personally taken care of. Kindly refer to my profile's reviews, and visit the other three apartments found in the same building, to acquire a better understanding of the property and host. These are the Elegant 5bm-5ba Apt/Acropolis View/Ideal Location, the Penthouse/Heated Pool/Acropolis View/Ideal Location and our newest creation, the Gracious Accessible 4Bd/5Ba Apartment in Ideal Location (rented as one or 2 smaller ones). A.U.R.A. (Acropolis Unique Residence Apartments) is a privately-owned apartment building which is composed of four large apartments for short term rentals with this one, the host’s reception office at the ground floor and home on the top floors (former small rentals). Unlike most of the newest constructions in Athens, for the entire building we have invested in renewable resources; solar energy, geothermal energy, recently replaced by heat pumps. Our aim is to guarantee an absolute heating and cooling effect with full autonomy, through an under-floor system (for long-term stays) and fan coils in all rooms, plus hot running water at all hours, and the heating of the swimming pool during the winter season (for guests at the A.U.R.A. Penthouse). Visitors’ comments for the A.U.R.A. properties primarily focus on three major advantages: Quality accommodation, ideal location and a hospitable host/owner. What follows explains why. The A.U.R.A. Stylish apartment is situated on the 2d floor, served by a large elevator. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms and 5 bathrooms of which 4 en suite with 1 bathtub and 4 showers. All bedrooms are flexible as regards accommodation with king size or single beds. Additionally, three of the bedrooms can fit one more single bed, thus, excluding sofas. Therefore, the maximum capacity is 13 guests. The kitchen area is convenient for home made preparations to enjoy a nice meal at the large dining table found at the sun bathing patio. The patio’s large windows and curtains which make up a beautiful theatrical scene, offer a beautiful view to the Acropolis at the end of a cute tree-lined pedestrian street and to the neighborhood’s quiet life. The patio is particularly inviting as a relaxing lounge area with a comfy sofa and pouffes. All areas offer separate A/C and the apartment is quite spacious, extending to 200 sq.m. offering autonomy and privacy which are so precious even among the closest group members sharing an apartment while traveling. Other things to note: • Parking offered in the premises, free of charge upon request and based on availability. • Security doors and a security code for the main entrance offer peace of mind to guests who may feel insecure while traveling. • Quiet hours prevail in Greece by law are between 14:30-17:30 and 22:00-07:30 which all citizens need to respect. By booking this property guests are confirming that they are aware of the house rules and agree to respect them. • Guests should be informed that the initial rate is for up to 6 guests. For more than 6 guests: Automatic 50€ extra charge per guest per night. This policy was judged as being to the advantage of smaller and larger groups. Prospective guests are requested to include the final number of guests in their inquiry. • New taxes were introduced in Greece recently, for all reservations made after 01.01.2024. As a result the total booking price is affected. More specifically; • A 13% V.A.T. is added to the booking price. • A Transient Occupancy Tax (0.5%) is included in the booking price. • A Climate Resilience Tax (0.50€ or 1.50€ / per night depending on the season), is required to be paid at the end of the stay .

Marianne was amazing from the start to the finish! She was very responsive and helpful. She helped us arrange transportation to and from the apartment with great drivers. The apartment is spacious with plenty of room for everyone, has all the basics you need and multiple bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the people go by. The elevator is also a plus for your luggage and when you are traveling with older family members. The location is close to the grocery, cafes, bakeries, wine shops, bookstores, pharmacy and restaurants. If you have a chance be sure to go to Merceri across the street. The food, service and experience are worth it. We walked to all the sites from the apartment and to the metro. It is close to everything you need. If we return to Athens we will definitely book this apartment again. I highly recommend. Thank you Marianne!

I cannot say enough good things about the apartment or about the service and support we got. We were a group of six adults. The apartment is not just spacious, it is exceptionally well laid out to give everyone privacy and quiet. It's clean, bright, nicely furnished, and amply equipped. It was very comfortable and very secure, an important factor when staying in a foreign city. The location -- both the immediate neighborhood and the overall location in Athens -- is perfect. The owner, Marianne, and her assistant, Eva, made clear to us at all times that they would give us assistance with anything we needed.
One quibble with the listing -- there isn't an "Acropolis View" from the apartment. If not for the trees along the street, one could see a bit of the Acropolis from the terrace, but in fact only a tiny glimpse is visible when it's lighted at night.
Nonetheless, it is very close to the Acropolis -- we were able to walk to the edge of the Acropolis site in just a few minutes. If we ever return to Athens, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

This location was ideal as it is within walking distance of all the major must-see historical sites. The neighborhood is quiet, despite being a short walk to the restaurants. The lodging layout was perfect for our 3 couples and could have accommodated more. Marianne and her team were so very helpful. Be sure to take them up on their offer of transport booking from the airport to the property - seamless and best price! They were helpful in many other ways also, and attentive to our requests. You will not regret staying here, we enjoyed our time here very much.

We ALL absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous apartment. We were 3 families with teens and preteens and everyone enjoyed their stay. It was comfortable, very clean, with all the amenities that any family would need. The location was perfect, close to the Acropolis, to the shops and restaurants, etc. We will definitely come back to stay here in the future. The host, Marianne was wonderful, very responsive helpful and flexible with our check in needs. Absolutely recommend it to everyone.

We ended our stay in Athens at the Aura and the service was the best I have ever encountered. We had one member that had to go the hospital and the owner went along to help with translation. The location was easy walking distance from the City Center and the Acropolis. Made the last days there great. Bruce P.

This is a spacious, beautiful apartment, well-appointed with all the little extra's. On a two-week Europe trip, this was the best apartment we rented for our large family (5 teens).
The owner (Marianne) along with Eva were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this property.

On our, a group of eight friends, first trip to Greece we spent three nights in Athens on the way to a week in the Cyclades. The apartment was a great facility in a quiet comfortable neighborhood. This was only topped by the level of friendly, efficient service provided by Marianne and Eva.
We all would recommend this apartment and would certainly stay here on a future visit.

From the booking, help with transportation, storing luggage until checkin, location and the beautiful clean place to stay this place is absolutely superb. This property was ideal! The villa was beautiful and was perfect for 7 of us. The hostess Marianne made our trip. Ever so helpful from taxis, tour guides. You name it she arranged it.

Marianne and Eva are amazing, in every way. Our 5-bedroom apartment was exactly as represented in VRBO. The water pressure in the shower was the best ever (and my husband travels allot, so it is hard to impress him!). Marianne was gracious, helpful, had the most amazing chocolate cake here for my son’s 17th birthday. The Dimou Bakery around the corner is a “must do” for delicious pastries and chocolate mousse birthday cakes. The apartment was in walking distance to all of the major archeological sites, lovely restaurants and cafes, and Marianne accommodated our early arrival and storing of our luggage. I cannot say enough positive things about our 3 day experience here. It made our stay in Athens a great one. Thank you!

There were 5 couples that stayed two nights here before our cruise to the Holy Lands! We were a mixed group of seniors and middle aged married couples. Our communications with the owner was always on time, courteous and very accommodating. She was just a phone call, email or text away. To say that we ALL were very satisfied does not seem to be enough. Marianne was wonderful. From helping with recommendations for transportation to recommendations for where to eat and shop. We just wrapped up an amazing Athens and Greek Islands trip with our 3 adult sons and their significant others. This beautiful flat was absolutely perfect. Each bedroom was beautiful and spacious with a separate bathroom in each. The kitchen was well appointed and the indoor/outdoor patio with coffee bar was the best. We enjoyed waking up each morning to our coffee and the sounds of the city coming alive. You could not ask for a better location to stay while in Athens, just outside of the main traffic on a street lined with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and local markets, with everything a short walk away. Marianne is the most wonderful, caring and informative host, and she will make sure that your check in and check out is absolutely seamless. Take her up on the suggestion to have an arranged pickup at the airport upon arrival. It is a wonderful way to begin a trip that you will remember for a lifetime! Thank you for everything Marianne. Quick Stop in Athens on the way to the Cyclades Islands
We had first rate 2 night stay with Marianne in Athens. The apartment was a perfect size for us and our 5 adult kids. A short walk up the quiet residential street puts you right at the base of the Acropolis and among virtually all of the must see ruins that were on our list.
Marianne had some great recommendations on local restaurants, there is a full service grocery store 1 block away, a quality coffee place directly across the street and basically every other convenience you could want is within walking distance. Very safe neighborhood too.
Marianne also arranged van transfer to and from the airport and even those guys were friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for a good way to experience Athens - you can’t go wrong with this place.

She helped to arrange the taxi to pick us up at the airport and to drop us off at the ferry for our next destination. The location is close to all the historical site in less than 10 min walk. Outside side of the apartment has coffee shop, restaurant and is a very safe neighborhood.
The apartment is much nicer than the picture and plenty of rooms for large group. We have 8 pieces of luggages and the elevator really helped our backs.
We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Greece again.

The location was great. It’s on a pedestrian street with easy access to the beautiful walkway surrounding the acropolis, as well as great restaurants in all directions.
Best of all was the host. She explained everything to us perfectly, and was available for any questions or assistance. She was so nice to our whole family.
We are very thankful for the opportunity to use this great space.
