Our house, located in an ancient medieval village on the outskirts of Siena, not far from many centers of artistic, naturalistic and culinary interest, such as Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, the Chianti hills and the Sienese Crete, spas such as Petriolo and Saturnia, is a construction of 1800, whose renovation, completed in 2019, we took care of personally wanting to maintain the ancient architectural features while using cutting-edge materials and techniques in respect of energy saving and ecological impact. Although we are in the historic center of Monticiano, the bedroom windows overlook a secluded garden where you can spend pleasant moments of true relaxation, enjoying a panoramic view that extends over the endless expanses of woods. The renovation of the apartment wanted to keep the original structure intact, which for many years hosted "the shop" and which therefore retains the ceiling with beams, rafters and bricks. On Via della Fonte a large glass door opens onto the living room with kitchenette and a short corridor leads to the very large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people also having a sofa bed in the living room.
