Met some good friends for weekend. It was great! View of water is great! Love the pool and hot tub are. Condo very adequate. Plenty of room. Good accommodations.

The condo itself is great! And just don’t expect to feel welcomed by the staff or locals that stay here year round! I would stay again as we did a fishing trip (with tibbels marina ) and spent most of our spare time in the condo

Check-in was easy and simple. The accommodations were just what we needed. We felt at home away from home. Lake Erie was absolutely beautiful.

We come to Port Clinton every year for a long Labor Day. We used to stay at a place close to Mike’s but this year changed it up- thank goodness we did! We were pleasantly surprised by the view of the lake from the balcony, the pool and hot tub that was frequently monitored and cleaned, and the friendliness of other owners in the Shores complex! We appreciated having enough seating for 5 in the living room to watch the Ohio State game too. Mike was very responsive to our questions before we had even booked the room. Being on the second story with 2 flights of stairs to enter the condo, plus another 1 flight of stairs in the condo, wasn’t a problem for us.

First trip to Lake Erie, Port Clinton area. Condo was great, pool area very clean and nice and great access to the lake beach area for the kids. Plenty of activities for the kids and ice cream for me! With one family member named Kelly we had to visit Kelley's Island however felt robbed to take the ferry. And eating at my name "Dianna's Restuarant" was great family meal. Only 4 hours from home and kids had a great time.

From start to finish the communication was great between myself and property management. Key pick up was pretty self explanatory. The 32 steps leading up to the condo were a trek but once you walk into the space it was totally worth it. First floor twin beds. Surprisingly, fully stocked kitchen with everything you can possibly need to create your favorite meal, even an omelette maker. I work with luxury cabins in TN and the amenities in this kitchen put them to shame! Definitely sharing this with my owners! The views were spectacular from the balcony. Upstairs are the queen bedroom and a magnificent master bedroom. The sitting area with the spectacular views made it hard to leave the bedroom. I was awoken each morning with a beautiful sunrise. The king bed was nice but could use a mattress pad as it’s a bit uncomfortable though. Every bedroom had ample space for clothing. Be sure to look for fun equipment in the closets that help use the resort amenities like tennis rackets. The upstairs shower pressure needs addressed (We were so busy enjoying the other amenities I kept forgetting to contact the property Mgr about it). The resort itself was clean and had several different options to enjoy outdoors. It was a great place to relax and enjoy Lake Erie. Will definitely refer friends and stay again ourselves!

Nice place, but lack of communication
When we picked up the paperwork and key, everything was very firm about parking in your assigned parking space only, or the car will be towed. When we arrived, our parking space was roped off for construction. Not knowing what to do, we tried to call 3 numbers in the key packet. Two of them went to voicemail; I left messages but no one called back. At the 3rd number, someone answered and said they no longer work for the Shores property. Needless to say I spent the first night afraid that my car would be towed. We saw someone outside and asked about it. That person lived there, so they told us the car would be fine.
It would have been nice to know that the condo was up 5 flights of stairs; we would have packed differently.
The trash instructions said not to put glass in the dumpster, but left no alternative.
Communication was very lacking.

We enjoyed our stay at Port Clinton. The location was perfect- just a short drive from the marina where we had booked - couple of fishing charters. It was nice having the pool for the kids although we didn’t get to enjoy it much due to weather. Close to restaurants!

The Shores was a wonderful property. It was in a perfect location. The pool was lovely and clean. The unit was well appointed and clean. Everything we needed was there. It was very comfortable and I'd stay there again without question.

Great view
This was a girl’s week and there was plenty of room for the four of us. We spent all our time on the balcony soaking up the view! Very close to the pool, which was very nice. Had a problem with the Mr. Coffee leaking water and contacted Brian and a new coffee pot, in the box, was delivered that day! We had a relaxing five days.

Would stay again!
The shores condo complex is very well maintained, with meticulous landscaping. We loved having the lake and pool a short walk from our room, especially with young kids needing to come back to the room often for snacks and nap times. One thing that was not mentioned is that the small sandy beach area on the property is underwater this year. We were still able to climb down the stairs & swim in the lake, however no sand for the kids to dig/play in. The communal patio area was clean & nice to eat dinner at with tables/umbrellas also a short walk from our room. Wonderful weekend getaway!

Port Clinton Vacation
Property was clean and decorated nicely. Beds comfortable and plenty of room for our things. I do recommend that the railing leading up the stairs and on the top level be sanded and varnished because I got a splinter using it.

We all enjoyed the decor and the space. It felt very welcoming and relaxing. Everyone was very helpful and kind any time we had any questions.
