THE THREE R's This lovely Dewey Beach cottage is a throw back to the simple days of vacationing at the beach. Located on the bay side of Ocean Highway it is a short walk to the beach or to the bay. Situated in the heart of Dewey, EVERYTHING is within walking distance. The cottage is the west side of a duplex and features classic notty pine throughout, a signature look of the early Dewey Beach homes. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. In the large living room are 2 day beds for sleeping extra guest. A large screened in porch with large ceiling fan is the perfect setting for morning coffee or just chilling after a day at the beach. If you want to head into Rehoboth for an evening the Jolly Trolly stop is at the end of the street in front of Grotto Pizza. However, the best way to see what Dewey has to offer is by foot. Everything is a short walk away. Pets are welcome (additional fees) limited to 2 pets. A maximum of 6 guest are allowed which includes all adults and children. We reserve all bookings to families or responsible and respectful adults only. Please no groups. You must provide you own linens, towels and paper products. Each bedroom has a Full size bed. The day beds in the living room are considered Twin. Smoking is limited to the screened in porch area. The cottage has central air conditioning and heat for off season enjoyment. All bookings between Memorial Day week and Labor Day week are a minimum of one week . Long weekends are available for off season. Summer Rentals is from Saturday to Saturday. Off street parking is provided for 4 cars. The living room has cable TV, and DVD player. There is free internet access. TV is The kitchen is equipped with complete range, microwave, toaster, blender, Coffee Pot, Keurig and all pots, pans and silverware. There is a gas grill on the side deck. (we do not maintain the propane bottle) UPDATE August 2021: Due to some concerns for the comfort of the beds, new TUFT & NEEDLE MINT mattresses have been placed in both bedrooms, Check In time is 3:00 PM Check out time is 10:30 am All rates are plus 3% Dewey Renters Tax There is a $400.00 Security Deposit (waived if insurance is purchased) Half payment is due at booking. Security Deposit and Balance due 60 days prior to rental There are no refunds for cancellations or inclimate weather.

Location of rental is fantastic, between the beach and bay- with walking distance to everything.
Rental was immaculate and very comfortable, with well equipped kitchen and very nice living room. Beds were amazingly comfy!
We just loved the charm and vibe- and especially the screened in porch! We had a wonderful relaxing stay and can’t wait to go back.

Ronald was very welcoming and the cottage was better than the photos portrayed. Surprisingly close to all the Dewey hotspots and very short walk to beach. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again.

Ron, the owner, was there to greet me when I arrived. Check-in was simple. The keyless entry made coming and going easy. The cottage had ample space to relax and enjoy yourself. The smart TV was big and easy to view. The bed was comfortable, and the bedrooms were spacious. The location is fabulous, half a block from the bay and a block and a half from the beach. It was a wonderful vacation even if the weather didn’t totally cooperate!

Ron is great, communicated well before we arrived, checked in with us during our stay. This was our second time here and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Property fits our needs perfectly. Love the screened in porch.

This is our 2nd visit and stay at the cottage. It is so spacious! I loved the new updates! The screened in porch is my favorite part! The yard provides some privacy to the porch so I can just sit outside with my coffee in the morning. The location is so convenient to the bay and the beach! It's such a great location and price! I also did all my laundry before we left and the washer and dryer were very efficient and quick. The owner provides the detergent and softener too. This year we cooked in every night and there were plenty of kitchen items to prepare meals. The bed was very comfortable and we l9ve the new big screen tv! Our granddaughters loved visiting us and walking to the playground a few feet away and watching the sunset over the bay at the little gazebo and beach area. We also watched Charlotte's web on the big screen TV. with them. There are alot of new DVD's to choose from! There's a few little things I'd change or ad to the place if I could ( because I'm a dreamer and love decorating) but we just love the cottage overall! Oh, and it's pet friendly but we decided to leave the dogs at home. We had another fabulous and relaxing stay! Thanks Ron!

Property is in a great location and is in close proximity to the beach. Love the porch and there is new living room furniture and TV. Beds are really comfy. Host is really welcoming and addresses any questions promptly. Would stay again.

Good deal
This place is in a great location and the yard was great for our dog. The living area and bedrooms were roomy and the mattresses and couches good. My only complaint was the bathroom. It needs some work. But overall it fit our needs at a reasonable price.

Wonderful week at Dewey
Ron is a great host, on site for arrival and the first day to take care of anything needed. The new mattresses along with the new living room furniture and larger TV were great upgrades. The location is fantastic as it's a 2-3 minute walk to the ocean. A great place to park the car for the whole week as restaurants and stores are within a few blocks but if you want to drive to Rehoboth or take the Jolly Trolley it's a quick ride.

Great Dewey beach/bay spot!
First experience using VRBO and Ron was awesome! We wanted a spot close to the beach, pet friendly, and a good area for kids and this nailed it for us... clean, comfy, beautiful evenings on the screened in porch, new beds, new couch, new t.v.... watching sunsets was perfect after a day at the beach.. 3 adults, a child, and a dog... will be back! Thanks Ron for being a great host!!

Ron was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. My husband and I and our kitten and puppy really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfectly situated close to the bay and beach. We visited during winter but still enjoyed walking on the beach every morning and so did our puppy. The sunset at sunset park is a definite must-see. The house was very peaceful and charming and was perfect for a relaxing get away. Will definitely visit again

Dewey Beach escape
My husband, Dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Ron’s place. It was like stepping back into time… Such a quaint, cozy beach cabin. It had everything we needed, and we loved the enclosed porch. Super convenient to the bay, beach, restaurants, etc , We will definitely visit again!

Relaxing!
This property was just what we were looking for... walking distance to the beach (and bay), low key, dog friendly, and private. Ron (the owner) was welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Great, relaxing time
We've been to Dewey many times, this will be the place we try to stay going forward. Being centrally located you can walk anywhere in Dewey. The porch is wonderful and private. We spent a good deal of our time relaxing and reading there. The place has a traditional feel to it. It feels like the beach! I feel I must mention the mattresses. Probably the best I've ever had in a rental. Ron (the owner) was great. He checked in with me a few days before our arrival to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. Circumstances worked out and he was able to get us in early so we didn't have to kill 2 hours at Cracker Barrel or the Sea Shell Shop. We hope to stay again.

Fantastic 1st visit to Dewey!!
Ron is great! We had a fantastic week vacation! We LOVED the cottage! It was perfect for us and it had the old fashioned charm that we love! It was alot more spacious than I thought it would be! Plenty of closet space to tuck away all the bags and stuff we brought. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I loved all the windows for natural light and we absolutely loved the screened in porch with the view of the ornamental grasses and statues. It was a great place to un-wined! The area is so pet friendly too. The cottage was so convenient to everything and we never used our car! Cook in or eat out, travel on the jolly trolly, head to the bay north beach restaurant just steps away or the beach! Everything was easy! See you next year!!!

My family of 5 and our 2 large breed dogs stayed here for a week. The location was awesome! We only drove our car once. The beach is truly spectacular and the whole town is truly dog friendly. Can’t wait until next summer. The only thing we would change, is more comfortable beds and an outdoor shower. Three teens and one bathroom was a challenge, but we made it work. Ron, the host, was also super friendly and accommodating !

Great Location!
The check was super easy. Owner was on site and then left me on me own. He checked by in with a day. Based on the online photos, I knew it would be more of a minimalist stay. However, I foumd neither of the mattresses to be comfortable at all. And the se for all of the seating.
The location was a few minires walk to the beach as well as a few convenience stores and restaurants/bars and shops. That was why I chose this place. The screened in porch was an added bonus as was being able to hear the live musice from a nearby club while relaxing on the porch.
