Home away from Home!

Our host was extremely helpful with travel information and arrangements: he helped book us a taxi to the Casablanca airport for an early morning departure when we left. He gave us recommendations for restaurants. We stayed with his Riad 3 times in our 3 weeks in Morocco and he let us store our luggage there so we had less to carry on our last week of travel. It felt like "coming home" each time we returned to Dar Ouezzani and a warm welcome! The rooms were all comfortable and had air conditioning. Such a pleasant stay we had!

Buen riad

La ubicación del riad es buena, es un sitio cómodo, la dueña es simpática y amable.

El riad se anuncia con plaza de parking publico, no es cierto NO HAY PARKING público cerca, se aparca en la calle en medio del caos y la incertidumbre y esperando que los aparcacoches te encuentren un sitio, en nuestro caso dos. Estuvimos dos horas reales esperando por poder aparcar. Para evitar malos entendidos, en Maps veréis marcados un par de parkings que aparentan estar cerca, pero debido a la ubicación de las puertas de la medina son unos 3 km de vuelta andando.

Good place, Nice staff.

No exhaust fan in bathroom+toilet, only a tiny ( approximately 8”x8”) window for bathroom+Toilet ventilation. Below average breakfast. (May be just because it was included in room booking price 88€ / night including taxes , excluding city tax which we paid 16€ for 2 nights stay.

Great Location at the heart of Rabat Medina, Kind Staffs and Instagrammable Riad

Dec 19-23 (4 days private room with bathroom) GREAT LOCATION 10/10: at the heart of old medina, super near to Rabat old market. Just 10 minutes walk to Kasbah of the Udayas and the nearest tram stop, that makes it very accessible to all other major tourist sites like the king’s mausoleum, hassan tower, Sale, Marina etc which were all like 5 mins tram ride away. 20 min walk to Rabat Ville train station, i suggest taxi (5 min ride). To avoid taxi scams, use InDrive Taxi App. COMFORT 10/10: Big, cozy, comfortable and stylish instagrammable room in a moroccan cultural way. Nice bed and comforter. With AC for heater / cooling. FACILITIES 10/10: beautiful instagrammable riad / courtyard STAFFS 10/10: responsive in booking . Com chat inquiries. Hotel staffs and manager are very warm and kind. WiFi 10/10: strong wifi signal CLEANLINESS 10/10: room, bathroom, WC, are all very clean. Value for money 10/10: affordable and worth it with its location and beautiful comfortable room

Great Riad in the middle of Rabat

The staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. They gave off a great positive vibe. :) The Riad is also very beautiful and charming. Size of the room was enough for 3 people and clean. The location is also great. We just walked to the places we visited in Rabat (though we only stayed 1 night but was able to go to several attractions by walking)

Mooie accommodatie en vriendelijk personeel Fantastisch dakterras Laat je even door iemand ophalen of de weg wijzen: het is een doolhof anders

Douchecabine was niet goed gedicht waardoor badkamer heel snel blank staat Het bed is serieus smal en kort, ook voor Marokkaanse begrippen

Bellissimo Dar Riad

Bellissimo Dar Riad, gestione familiare, accolti con un bel tè, si trova nella Medina quindi non accessibile alle auto, a pochissima distanza dal mercato e dalle attrazioni principali che si raggiungono facilmente a piedi, consigliato.

Schönes, familiengeführtes Riad

Sehr freundliches Personal, das Zimmer war sehr schön, es wirkte als wäre erst vor Kurzem alles neu gemacht wurden. Wunderschöne Dachterasse und leckeres Frühstück!

Das Riad liegt seht tief in der Medina. Aber ansonsten war alles gut.

Perfect private getaway

Location was quiet and private. The roof terrace was large and had all different nooks to chill and relax. The riad overall was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

The quadruple room we had was small for 3 adults. It’s OK for a short stay, but for a longer stay I’d book 2 separate larger rooms.

My favorite riad in Rabat!

I booked this place to relax and recover after a busy two weeks of traveling. It was perfect. The terrace is amazing and guests can easily spread out because it’s so big. The room has a nice closet and comfortable bed. The AC was great and everything was very clean. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend this place.

The shower drain was very slow in my bathroom, which made using the toilet a slippery experience. It took me a day to realize the terrace has another toilet available to all guests. Minor issue and I loved my experience!

Lovely oasis in the heart of Rabat

The staff here are truly some of the loveliest people you will ever meet. Very warm, kind, friendly, and welcoming, the riad is a home to them, and they treated us like family. The owner and his wife were chatty and gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do, places to go, and things to see around the city. The riad is lovely, with easy access to the medina and marketplaces. The rooftop is gorgeous with plenty of seating, plants, and is a great place to have tea or read a book. The rooms were clean and simple, and perfect for our two night stay. It's a lovely little oasis and we'd love to come back!

Everything You can't get a better place to stay other than this Riad A vintage 1772 built well taken care Riad The rooms are big,very clean and tidy Air-conditioned rooms Breakfast is amazing and you get stuffed from it 😄 The most important is how nice, helpful and friendly the owners are , we fell in love with the place and owners and we felt like we are staying with our family The internet is very fast and reaches every place in the riad Location is very very good Thank you from our heart ❤️

If you are not looking for anything fancy and a clean space this property is great for that. It is my first experience b

The property is a traditional Moroccan architecture so I like the traditional feel of it.

The property was a little smaller than I expected but again to be fair it is my first time with the Riad experience. I always use hotels so may be my expectation was a bit off.

We enjoyed the breakfast and had a very pleasant stay at this lovely riad near the old centre.

Since parking is sometimes a challenge you have to be prepared to carry your luggage to the riad.

This Riad is a lovely oasis located in a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the Rabat medina. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea in the open air courtyard. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning that provided a welcome respite from the June heat. We enjoyed the traditional Moroccan breakfast that was served in the courtyard. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend if you want an authentic experience in a Moroccan riad. Wi-Fi worked well.

An oasis in the medina of Rabat

This Riad is located in the heart of Rabat's medina. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and competent, the breakfast is freshly prepared and lush, and the rooms are cozy and picturesque. The view from the rooftop terrace is marvellous. Definitely recommended for a stay in Rabat.

Superb

The rooms give you a feel of the traditional lifestyle. Although the rooms were not huge and had shapes that we are no longer accustomed to, they were reasonable. We were surprised by the modern bathrooms. Good location. Nice people.

The rooms on the ground floor opened into the breakfast space, so early mornings were a little less private. We changed our rooms to the first floor and all was fine.

Did enjoy the stay

Location is excellent. Very close to the beach and main attraction. Property is neat and beautiful.

One suggestion to the owner. I had to walk quite far to the shop to get bottled water. If it can be supplied on daily basis at property it will bring the convenience to the travelers.

Fantastic stay in Rabat

Beautiful riad with very welcoming owner. Easy to get to when you park on the car street on the north of the medina. The watchmen charge 10drh a day and 20drh for the night watching your car. They do not wear uniform so anybody could be a watchmen but that's how it works. I booked the blue room and I loved it. It's on the first floor at the end of the corridor so nobody else is walking by your room. You still need the shutters to protect view inside, but there is a little window towards the exterior on the other side for fresh breeze. There is a nice rooftop terrace if you stay longer to hang around. Breakfast was very plenty with fruits and an egg. And Moroccan tea of course.

Bathroom is somewhat small (but still stylish), doesn't have a hairdryer but if you ask the personnel downstairs they borrow you one.

Beautiful traditional courtyard hotel

This is a very nice traditional courtyard house, very nice host, very nice view, great breakfast, although it is very close to the lively neighborhood but there is no noise, very quiet, if you are a shrewd tourist living here You will definitely not be disappointed.

Quiet and beautiful stay in Rabat

Quiet part of the Medina, yet close to taxi drop-off if needed. Very lovely family running the Riad. My partner and I had gotten our bags delayed/lost by the airline and the Riad was incredibly kind and hospitable to us. The room itself was beautiful and spacious, and the hot water was HOT, which is not always easy to find in Morocco. Our flight was at 6am and they packed a gigantic breakfast for us to go. Thank you so much for everything.
