Wir können dieses B&B nur weiterempfehlen und würden selbst immer wieder kommen!

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, herzlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt. Auto konnte direkt am Haus abgestellt werden. Sehr schöner Japanischer Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Schönes Ambiente, gemütliche und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und Frühstücksraum. Die Gäste können eine gut ausgestattete Küche inklusive Kühlschrank selber nutzen. Kostenloser Tee/Kaffe/Kakao-Automat. Top Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Smukt sted med dejlig atmosfære.

Smuk smuk have og gennemført japansk stil. Rent og behagelig stemning. Vi havde mulighed for at bruge køkkenet, samt køleskab.-

Værelset vi overnattede på (rød) var lidt træt.

Perfect Japanese stile decorated B&B, just as the name says…

Breakfast was delicious ,breakfast room was so well decorated, garden exceptional . Bedroom cosy, beds comfy, wash - toilet ! Highly recommended !

A hidden gem

The garden is obviously spectacular! It is the main draw to staying here. We spent a lot of time walking around and admiring all the love and detail put into it. I do recommend getting a room with a balcony, so you can see the garden from your room. The Japanese decor in the house creates a special atmosphere. The host was very welcoming and helpful. This was the most personal experience we had in Denmark so far. Very accommodating! Another highlight was the breakfast! There was a big variety, with lots of healthy freshly cut fruit, the eggs were boiled perfectly and everything was nicely presented. Delicious!

The rooms are on the smaller side, but all necessities are there. Some of the facilities feel a bit dated.

It was an amazing experience where there was a pleasant and calm atmosphere and a fantastic garden to enjoy the tranquility and silence in. I was warmly welcomed by the hostess, lovely people who have the place

Amazing place

Very rarely do I give as 10/10 but this place deserves it well. I especially liked the Japanese decor, the attention to detail throughout the accommodation and garden is fantastic, it's the best Japanese themed building I've been to outside Japan. The common area with coffee machine, reading chairs and tables is great, there's also a large communal fridge. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, I liked sleeping with the window open to hear the waterfalls trickling all night. Easy parking and plenty of it, it's in a good area so street parking would be safe. A few minutes walk from a supermarket and the train station for regular trains to Hjerning and Aarhus. Very friendly owner (Niels) who speaks good English. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely nothing, although the electronic PIN code operated door locks took a little getting used to.

It was simply amazing! It has the best atmosphere, great Japan design, incredible garden and the owners were awesome! And the breakfast was so rich and delicious. We will definitely come back!

Gorgeous gardens - accommodating to vegans

We loved the gardens - full of flowers and teaming with life! The hosts provided oat milk during breakfast at our request which we sent upon booking.

Feel great while you stay in Den Japanske Have

The owners were very kind and always with smile and ready to support as much as possible.

There isn’t any to complain. But if I want to be too critical then perhaps I would like to see a tall mirror in the room to facilitate dressing up :-)

Excellent place near Ikast

This is one of the best location I have ever been. It has a Japanese theme, with an extraordinary garden, hundreds of plants and tens of trees, little lake, fishes, all built together to provide an excellent good time for anyone: the ones wanting to spend a quite time in meditation, but also the ones wanting to have a evening with a BBQ in an extraordinary garden. Our room was excellent, a true authentic Japanese experience, many such small details, simply unbelievable. Once we enter the property, it felt like we stepped into another world. The hosts were so kind, and we were told the story of how they started the place and how they take care of plants. Thank you again for this experience. We will visit again! :)

Wonderful Oasis in Herning

Tove and Niels are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our short yet memorable stay at Den Japansk Have B&B. The garden is beautiful, and the hard work that the family has put into it over the years has truly paid off.

I couldn't wish for a more calm and quiet weekend.

Though not much of a breakfast person, but very uncompromising with coffee, which I found really good. Coffee is available 24/7, a fridge for guests in kitchen, the wonderful garden, and the many more elements of comfort...one could hardly wish for a better cozy getaway location. And the team, the way each receives you, kind of leave lasting impressions. Thanks for the gift cards, which I understand guest receive during departure.

I can't imagine anything that's odd about this place...it's simply a fantastic place.
