Lovely location and garden.

Downstairs shower broke and it took a while to get it fixed, no partial refund offered or alternative options for washing ourselves provided. Upstairs bath also broken so cannot be used (no water pressure or hot water, plumber fixing the downstairs shower said it would need a bigger repair). So bathroom facilities are poor for a house of this size. Very intermittent wifi, made watching downstairs smart TV a challenge.

The house has everything you need, amazing location, plenty space, lots to do in the house, board games and table tennis were a real hit!

Really pretty village. Good location as long as you have transport to get about. The property is a good size and the facilities were very good too.

There wasn’t anything significant that we didn’t like about the property. Maybe some of the decor could be updated but it wasn’t bad.

chairs and bed downstairs were not very comfortable, there was scalding hot water all the time - bad environmentally and form a safety point of view - with the boiler firing up constantly, needs thermostat check I think , floor boards was hot - waste of heat energy and money

Lovely location in the countryside and very close to the sea. You can see the sea from the upper level windows and take a short walk to the beach. Local pubs, shop and deli were very useful. We liked being out of the hustle and bustle but easily able to get to somewhere busier like Southwold if we wanted to. The children loved the little ferry ride across the river and on one journey it was a rowing boat. The house was very clean and tidy and looked like a few things were newly replaced and painted. The lush garden was lots of fun for adults, children and the dog. Perfect little get away post COVID lockdown.

We would have found a child gate at the top of the stairs beneficial. Check in and out times were a little restricted but we understand this may be due to COVID cleaning restrictions.
