I booked this property for a family and friends vacation, the owner was very responsive and we were excited to check in and start our weekend. The house slept everyone comfortably. However, a lot of the amenities were very dated and/or damaged. The deck was a mess upon arrival, the cushions for the outdoor sectional piece were basically lounge cushions spread out, and the kitchen was ill-equipped with simple steak knives. The expectation of the photos and description does not justify the price.

Our multi-family stay at this house was absolutely fantastic! The house itself was spacious, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay for a large group of 20+. Our host Mr. Brad was readily available to answer any questions. His accommodating nature made our experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, and accommodating retreat for a group vacation.

This is place was great for a big group getaway and Brad was super helpful and responsive!

Great house, plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Updated bathrooms and TV’s. Had a great weekend.

The property is conveniently located close to Jack Frost/Big Bolder ski mountains. Big enough to accommodate our large party. Easy access. Clean, but some of the cookery was dirty and needed to be updated. Bring your own pots if you are planning on cooking. Close to description online. A few issues, the games in the game room did not work upon arrival, eventually the owner contacted us and it was resolved, but not until the next day.The heat was really hot in some rooms but cold in others (and it was a cold weekend). Other than that, we had a really fun weekend at the lodge.

The house is very convenient to many activities and has good rooms.

This home is perfect for large groups. There are a lot of rooms and a lot of beds. There are also plenty of spaces indoors and outdoors to spread out. It is close to everything on lake harmony (a stone's through from the one resort). We could easily access restaurants, boatings, beach etc. The two downsides is the sheets were left on our beds and we needed to make them ourselves. Additionally, Brad is not the greatest communicator. He was quick to respond, but didn't fully read my questions, so needed to ask several times. It seemed like he was quite busy. That does not deter from the house though, which was awesome!

I had a large group (9 adults + 9 children) stay at this property in the Poconos the week before last; and the owner, Mr. Trapnell, lied to us on several occasions and generally jerked us around after knowingly overbooking with a reservation from another site. We booked the property on Jan 19, 2022 for Feb 23 - 27 and immediately paid in full. I received a call from the owner, Mr. Trapnell, on Feb 17 to ask if we could postpone check-in to Feb 24, claiming that there was a pending HVAC repair, replacement of a zone pump, that could not be completed until the morning of the 24th. This was a lie. He intended to simply push us off to a 02/24 checkin, so he could accept the other booking covering 4 additional nights. After informing him that we'd already put substantial time, effort, and money into planning the trip to begin Feb 23, including the purchase of lift tickets and lessons for some 16 people; he said he could put us up in one of his other nearby properties (so-called "mt. top mansion"). for the night of the 23rd. Too late to book anything else for a group our size, we had no choice but to acquiesce. Upon asking if we could drop some off some luggage at this house on Wed, even if we would be staying at the other house that night, we were told this was not possible as having renters there with the known "problem" would cause him to lose his insurance - another lie. The afternoon of the 23rd, Mr. Trapnell texted me to say “Guys are staying at other place to wrap things up. Hvac said supply house got pump. They are going in am.” These were lies prompted by the fact that he realized we might drive by. After arriving at the other house on Wednesday evening (02/23), I decided to run out and drive past this house. Sure enough, there was a house full of people partying it up and a bonfire going in the fire pit out back. I introduced myself and asked if they were renting. They confirmed they’d just made the reservation the previous week, via another well-known site, for Sunday to Thursday (02/19-02/24). In other words, Mr. Trapnell accepted a reservation request for 02/19-02/24 despite the fact that my group had already reserved 02/23-02/27 a month earlier. He then repeatedly lied to us in an effort to maximize his profits. The house itself is an example of "lipstick on a pig" - pretty bathrooms and kitchen for photos, otherwise dumpy, absurdly drafty, and filthy carpets. Dangerous steps outside. Steep driveway. Not appropriate for winter rental.
