we would stay there again, but in their bigger suite

The host was excellent, bed very comfortable. It was very hot conditions and the host turned our aircon on before we arrived, so that we were comfortable as well as providing us with lots of cold bottled water

Clean, tidy and peaceful

The location was peaceful while still being close to attractions. There was a great variety of things provided in the room for breakfast as well as a few snacks and a lovely bottle of wine.

There were eggs provided but they could have only been cooked in the microwave without leaving room to use the BBQ outside around the corner. Was okay but slightly inconvenient.

Perfect stay for our groove in the moo trip

Property was very clean, close to Maitland show ground, hosts were incredibly lovely. The complimentary drinks and snacks was very nice, hosts were quick to respond to messages and cater to our needs. I definitely recommend this place and will be staying here again.

It was incredibly clean! Our son has cystic fibrosis so staying anywhere is hard and we usually clean and clean before he enters a room or place. But at Mala retreat we didn't have to do anything it was spotless and the attention to detail in cleanliness was outstanding! Providing snacks and drinks with no extra cost was great heading to appointments and clinics visiting! And the birds of a morning and nights were awesome

It was a really pleasant stay. My family and I enjoyed every moment.

Can't complain about anything. The house was amazing and something that got our attention right at the beginning was your attention to every detail, from welcome wine and cheese to supplies

Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The attention to detail of the room was amazing, our arrival plate was such a lovely touch and made us feel so welcome. The room was super clean, warm and cosy and just felt like we were meant to be there.

There really wasnt too much to complain about really. It was just a nice little room.

Comfortable place to stay

Noise restrictions from 9pm-9am which is fine but the people who live their have a child right next to the room that woke us up at 7-8am and woke us up at 1am which was not good.

The unit was fabulous, it’s new and very well presented. They have thought of everything to make you comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the country outlook was wonderful.

Good accommodation but too far out from Polkobin for us

Loved that everything was supplied for a breakfast but a bit confused as there was a toaster and jam and butter but no bread to toast?

You could hear everything next door - baby crying the first night and the 2nd night the man coughing half his lungs out in the shower for half an hour!!

A quiet and peaceful two day break.

The welcome cheese, biscuits and fruit (which included a bottle of wine) was a lovely touch. The bed and the room were very comfortable.

I would have liked two chairs in the room. There was enough space for another chair. We were staying two nights and we thought that there could have been more fresh milk in the fridge.

Perfect home away from home.

Mala Retreat is the perfect home away from home. The studio suite was exceptionally clean, comfortable, peaceful and had plenty of complimentary snacks to have when you’re unwinding from your day. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor patio, soaking in the fresh evening air that we don’t really get in Sydney. Mala Retreat is only a 5 minute drive away from Stockland Green Hills if you ever need to go out and about for quick take away or even a quick trip to woolies.. and even though the shops were only a 5 minute drive away you would never expect it to be so close as when you’re at Mala Retreat it’s like you’re in a secluded peaceful area.. away from hustle and bustle life. Adrian and Christine are wonderful hosts! Quick to respond to our messages and very understanding. They really make the effort to ensure you enjoy your stay there. There was noise coming from the other Mala Retreat room (kids crying and screaming) but that didn’t bother us much as it didn’t take long for them to settle. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Mala Retreat and will definitely be back again in the near future.
