Open plan house with lots of common areas and spaces for everyone to hang together or find their separate place. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with cooking supplies and lots of dishes and glasses. WIFI was great. Blow dryer, curling iron, games, everything we needed. Very close to the Red Lion. It was perfect for the five of us.

Charming house with only a 10 minute walk to downtown Stockbridge. Very comfy and clean with a great backyard and view. The windows along the back of the house really help bring the outdoors up close and the chairs there are perfect spot for having your coffee or glass of wine and enjoying the view. The Smeg appliances in the kitchen offer a nice retro feel and pop of color. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Anneke and Jim were great hosts, responded to all texts quickly and saw we had a toddler with us and let us know there was a pack n play and highchair at the house. I would stay here again!

We stayed in this house for a wedding weekend with family. The location was perfect for touring the area around when we weren't busy with wedding festivities. Nice fenced-in backyard with a view, which we didn't get to experience because we ran out of time. But there is a nice spot to have tea inside by the windows looking out. The house came well appointed with necessities. The cleaning people were no shows for the owners who did their best scrambling around to get the house ready for us. Such nice people! It was great to have the option of ceiling fan or air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't do any cooking so can't attest to the kitchen equipment. So nice to be able to walk into the town of Stockbridge which was very cute. We all enjoyed our stay.

This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, pet friendly home is situated across the street from the Berkshire Theatre Group and a short drive to Tanglewood. It is also a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Stockbridge. The house is absolutely perfection and made our stay in the Berkshires amazing and awesome.

This is honestly one of the best places we have ever stayed. Even the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable though some in our party thought the pillows could have been more generous. The house is not without its oddities such as the high clawfoot tub and shower in one of the two bathrooms and the large retro design refrigerator that has its idiosyncrasies. The outside deck and backyard with view of the mountains are a delight. The hosts are pleasant and attentive. The neighborhood is quiet yet near the little hamlet of Stockbridge which has a fantastic French patisserie and other shops.
The location for Tanglewood can't be beat. You can avoid all of the Lenox traffic by heading north on local roads to the Lion's Gate parking or other lots. The Lee entrance to the Mass Pike is only a few miles away and without traffic.
If you go, be very careful walking up the front steps as they are unequal in height.
We were two couples and felt that it was just the right size for four people. It does sleep six.
All in all, a pleasant and convenient spot to enjoy the Berkshires.

Jim and Anneke were awesome hosts - both proactive in their communications, and extremely responsive to questions or inquiries.
Great location - Main Street and the Red Lion Inn is about 4 blocks away. We walked to dinner at the Red Lion on Friday evening. Our party of four was impressed with the comfortable space available - the kitchen was clean and well appointed, and our beds were super comfortable.
We would gladly return for a future visit!

Beautiful home with everything you could need! The house can fit 9 people very comfortably. Our Siberian Husky enjoyed the fenced yard.
The house is a short walk to everything Stockbridge has to offer. And a short ride to Tanglewood.
The hosts, Anneke and Jim, were a pleasure to work and couldn't have made everything any easier.

The property was in a great location to downtown Sturbridge and other areas of the Berkshires we were looking to go. The house was beautifully designed and clean. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved the cozy house with the great backyard for our dachshund. Perfect for four people and in a great location. And the Berkshires are such a lovely spot with lots of interesting places to visit. We managed to catch the opening weekend of the tulip and daffodil festival at Naumkeag - beautiful!

This wonderful home has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location is great for exploring the area in any direction. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

My young family had a really great stay at Jim and Anneke's house in Stockbridge. It is very conveniently located to town, we could walk to Red Lion Inn and cute town shops, but exceptionally quiet for being on the main street, and with a nice backyard to be able to get outside and enjoy the snow we got during our stay. The house itself is dated, but charming, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked! The town is very convenient to Butternut and other area ski resorts.
The foosball table on the front porch provided all of the entertainment we needed in between all of the great activities the area offers. Anneke and Jim were great hosts- had a welcome basket waiting for us and dropped off salt for the sidewalks after it snowed. We would happily return!

Rabbit Run is such a nice spot. The location is great. The house is just as advertised. Cozy, comfortable but with all the space you need. The location was great for those of us that wanted to ski and for those of us that just wanted to chill.

We loved this property! The house was very clean and fit right in with the Berkshires vibe. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Two full baths made a busy weekend running around easier to manage. Anneke and Jim were very easy to work with. We even had some last minute questions while trying to prepare for guests and they were very prompt to respond. The house is very close and walkable to downtown Stockbridge. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our favorite part of this property was the dog friendly, fenced -in back yard. We brought our 2 dogs with us and they had a great time running and playing in the yard. We also took advantage of the Solo Stove (firepit) in the backyard. It is a great location in terms of proximity to town and lots of options for hiking. We spent our time hiking with the dogs and mountain biking. There are so many trails and hiking spots within 15 minutes of the house. The downfall to the house location is the busy Main Street traffic...lots of large construction vehicles and tractor trailers drive this road. If you are looking for a fully updated and modern home to stay in, this is not the place for you. The decor, furniture, and bathroom fixtures have an antique look and feel to them. The house was very clean but not "brand new" and remodeled. It is cozy and has all the essentials we needed to enjoy our mountain getaway. Communication with the owners was quick and easy.

Needed accommodations for family over Easter weekend and decided to meet in Stockbridge MA. This was my first experience using VRBO and I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. The house was exactly as described, upscale appliances, excellent location, big yard for our dogs to play in, and for our grandson's Easter Egg Hunt. He played Foosball and threw darts with Grandpa and we enjoyed family meals together, making happy memories together. Plan to use VRBO again!

Great location and had all that we needed and then some (even the nespresso so bring pods if you have them). There was a fun hike to Laurel's tower that was worth doing. GB was lovely as was Lenox. We had a great time and Milo was happy in the backyard. The fire pit was fun too.

Beautiful and peaceful
We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful. It combines the lovely details of old homes with a charming décor. It had a great sense of peace and calm. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen had everything we needed for the limited cooking we did. The whole house was spotless, which really showed off the beautiful woodwork, etc.

At home in Stockbridge
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Rabbit Run. We come to the Berkshires frequently, and had typically stayed at the Red Lion Inn down the road here in Stockbridge. But as our girls have grown, we've been staying at local homes so that we can have more room and flexibility. Anneke and Jim's house provided all of that, along with a warm, home-y feel that was actually pretty reminiscent of the Red Lion (complete with a few artifacts of the inn).
The house was laid out well for our family, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths - our teenage girls each had their own room - with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Downstairs, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the living and dining area were great for family hang-outs (whether eating or watching the Olympics after dinner on the up-to-date digital/web TV). The windows overlooking the backyard added to the light and ambience; it's a beautiful view to the hills behind the house.
The location is ideal, an easy walk down Main Street to the charming center of Stockbridge and the Red Lion Inn, and a quick 10 minute drive to either Great Barrington and Butternut ski area (in one direction), or Lenox and Tanglewood (in the other). The house was quiet - while right on Main Street, there is not very much traffic at all at this end of the street.
I also have to mention that our mini-Labradoodle loved being here with us - and that the fully fenced-in back yard was perfect for her to romp around in. It's great to find a nice, pet-friendly house!
Finally, Anneke and Jim were excellent and responsive hosts. Check-in was easy, and so was getting in touch with them to confirm arrival and departure details, etc. We also really appreciated the little welcome basket that was prepared for us (thank you!).
We couldn't recommend Rabbit Run more highly for a comfortable family stay in Stockbridge.

Just left Rabbit Run this morning…had an awesome stay! The place is walking distance to the cutest little town of Stockbridge. The house is well stocked and was very comfortable for 5 lovely ladies to convene at. We enjoyed shopping, cooking meals at the house, sitting on the back deck drinking our morning coffee and hanging by the fire pit sipping wine. Wonderful place! Thank you!!

Nice Place Close to Town
We stayed here for a local wedding. It was clean and fairly comfortable. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are modern a nice looking. The bedrooms each had an air conditioner. The living room and dining room furniture could use updating. The TV is large if that's your thing. The back yard is a nice, fenced in area. The house is on a somewhat busy road. We found backing into the driveway made it much easier when pulling out into the road. It's a short walk to a playground and a little bit further to a few shops and places to eat. Stockbridge is quaint, but there's really not a whole lot to do there. I did let the owner know the upstairs bathroom shower was broken. The downstairs shower was nice, but it was a little awkward to use since the bedrooms are upstairs. They said they would be fixing the upstairs shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent the home again, though I doubt we'll ever need to.
