My girlfriends and I had a much needed getaway in this beautiful home right next to the Main Street in Murphys. The house was so cozy, accommodating for our needs and lovely. As a group of teachers, the fact that this was an old school house made it even more memorable. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful spot! Perfect location for an easy walk to wine tasting, shops, and restaurants. Even though it rained the majority of our stay, there was plenty of space to relax and hang out in the house. We will be back!

We've been to Murphys many times and my group says this was the best house yet. We loved how close it was to main street (2 minutes walking?), the neighborhood, how well equipped the house was and how comfortable.

Nicely decorated and furnished,clean, did not lack for anything, location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants/shops - not far from other things to do in area like a concert at a winery. HIghly recommend.

The location and layout of this house was amazing. We were just steps from Main Street. It was so fun to get up and walk to coffee places in the mornings and go out shopping in the evenings. Everything worked amazingly well. The only problems we had was with the fan in the bathroom. It wouldn't turn off and it was quite loud, especially at night. Other than that, it was a super great stay!

Overall a wonderful place. Odd feeling with all the cameras so close watching closely as you go to have a glass of wine on the porch. Other than this, Everything was nice except the floors in the house seemed to might have been missed getting cleaned. With the higher cleaning fee combined with the high service fee, I would think for floor to be cleaned and everything tidy. Walking distance one you are here, very close to everything you need in Murphys.

Nuala was very caring and sympathetic when I called to cancel 24 hours before arriving due to illness. We are familiar with The Schoolhouse and know that it has a great location and great reviews! We plan to reschedule soon! Fortunately we had traveler’s insurance and received full refund quickly. I had to check all boxes for review in order to submit. I am sure that this property deserves an Excellent rating!

The Schoolhouse property was perfect for our wedding weekend. My mother of the bride sister did all of the flowers herself. The huge patio table served as the perfect work space to create the beautiful arrangements for the venue and the arbor. The house itself was spacious to accommodate the six of us so that we weren't on top of each other when we were getting ready for my niece's big day. The location in Murphy's was perfect! I would recommend this property to friends.

We were a group of 7 women going on our annual getaway to Murphys. This was our first time staying at the Schoolhouse and it was fabulous! The location to Main Street was perfect. We were just steps away from all the action, nestled behind a tap room and wine tasting room. As we walked around Main Street shopping and wine tasting during the day, many of us were able to individually run back to the house to use the restroom, grab some snacks, or take a break, then easily walk back to Main Street and find the group. We especially loved hanging out on the front porch drinking coffee and waving hello at passersby.

Spacious and comfortable home in the heart of Murphys. Easy walk to stores, market, restaurants, wine tasting, and park. Short drive to Mercer Caverns. Our groups’ ages ranged from 13 to 76, and the trip was enjoyed by all.

We loved how house was clean and could walk everywhere in town easily. The house kept getting hot even though we turned the thermostat down, but the owner said they are going to take a look at it, so it won’t be a problem in the future. Nice place and nice stay!

The property was good and located just a block from downtown. We enjoyed staying here for two nights. Two of three bedrooms also had TV. The only problem that we faced was with the main room TV which was tooooooooo slow in responding to remote control.
