Views don't get any better than this. Watch endless PACIFIC OCEAN. Turtles, Dolphins, whales during whale season and other ocean activities. 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath. lanai . Ground floor unit makes for easy access. Oceanfront pool. It has to be one of the most awesome condos in all of Kauai. IF YOU GET ANY CLOSER TO THE OCEAN THAN THIS, YOU WILL BE SWIMMING IN IT. Experience the South Shore of Kauai at it's best. (Poipu Shores Complex) Poipu has the best Kauai beaches for swimming. Poipu Beach Park is kid-friendly and best for exploring tide pools, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. You can walk there from the condo. The condo is upgraded but it's not luxury, it's upgraded to be island style with bamboo and such, it's very nice, very comfortable and incredible location, if luxury is what you're looking for, this is not it, if you're looking for comfort, amazing location, incredible views, romance, privacy and want to watch ocean wild life right in front of your own eyes, this is the condo you're looking for! Due respect to all guests, there are two types of guests, some guests are coming to Hawaii to have a wonderful time, enjoy the condo and the views, those guests are more than welcome! There are guests who are coming to do property inspection, enjoying a vacation is the last thing on their mind! I don't know of any property that is 100% perfect in every aspect and I don't know of any ocean front property in a high humidity, wet climate, salt air with strong winds like the state of Hawaii that will not have rust here or there or electronics never breakdown! If you are coming to do property inspection rather than have a nice comfortable, relaxing vacation in a nice, clean property with amazing views, please save your money, your time and energy and keep searching for the perfect ocean front property that's perfect in every aspect! WE DO STAY ON TOP OF EVERYTHING AND MAINTAIN EVERYTHING AS BEST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF WHAT'S ACCESSIBLE AND AVAILABLE ON THE ISLAND AT THE TIME OF REPAIRS!

Loved the view & proximity to the beach . Mattresses need replacing. Cramped unit was uncomfortable. The deck views were fabulous.

I brought my adult children who had not been there in 15 years. The location was amazing. A quick walk to a very safe and swimmable beach. Opening the kitchen door, we would look down to the cove below and count the turtles, while watching the whales breach out towards the horizon . It was a fabulous trip, and the property was wonderful.

This property was excellent from top to bottom, the host has clearly put lots of effort and touches onto the home. All appliances in good working order, beds super comfortable, decor and kitchen upgrades very nice. But undeniably the best thing about this condo is the lanai and the oceanfront view. The listing pictures reflect reality. Sunrises, sunsets, turtles, whales, crashing waves, you name it. It was even awesome to sit on the lanai listening to the crashing waves in near total darkness except for the night sky. Our kids loved the pool area and that it was a short walk to Brennecke and Poipu Beaches. Would love to come back someday!

This condo is all about the full ocean view from the lanai. Kitchen was small, but relatively well stocked. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked great. Nicely situated condo, walking distance to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck. Owner was very responsive to our needs. I would say a tight squeeze in the second bedroom for two adults, but master bedroom is roomy. Great place for a family who wants lovely time together in a gorgeous location.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was exactly as described in the listing. The balcony overlooked the water and we saw the turtles others noted. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all supplies we needed, and the pool was great. My family of 3 (two adults and 11 year-old daughter) would stay here again. Thanks!

It was a great experience. The location can’t beat it. We ended up losing family at home while here and were able to plan a funeral in a peaceful setting.

We had an amazing stay. Very clean condo. Saw turtles just below our room daily. Within walking distance to beaches. We plan to stay here again the next time we visit.

What a lovely and perfect unit for us! This being our 14 or 15th time to Kauai, we have to say that this was one of the best places we’ve stayed! The location being right on the ocean with soothing views, and the pool makes this unit the best compared to other condos we’ve tried. People were very nice here. The kitchen was fully equipped and the closet full of water toys and beach gear was great! Melodee was an awesome host as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

A great place in paradise.
The owner is very helpful. The pool overlooks the ocean. BBQs and entire condo has all the goodies, spices, snorkeling and everything.

The view is outstanding. Turtles are under your window at all times. At least 10 and often many more. Part of our family saw dolphins once from the balcony.
We all saw three eagle rays from the balcony.

We loved the condo! It was perfect for our family of 4. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching the turtles from the deck. We would 100% re book as everything was easy and well stocked for our stay. It’s clear that the owners are always improving and updating the unit which is always nice as a guest to see. Thank you for the beautiful space to explore the island.

If you enjoy getting sprayed by the ocean breeze and looking straight down at the shore with lots of feeding turtles - then this is your place. Short walk down to the best beach on the island - Poipu Beach - or, in the other direction a nice walk to the Hyatt. The condo was a great fit for us - no need for the air conditioners just fans and open windows. Best to have a small rental vehicle for the small parking spaces. The pool area is also great although we spent very little time in it. Overall a great condo with great location. At dusk the turtles will come up on shore to rest on Poipu Beach and then return at dawn. Look but don't get too close - volunteers will make sure - and don't use flashes at night. Aloha

The view from the patio can’t be beat. Got to see turtles continuously while enjoying our meals. The tables and chairs are a nice touch and at the right hight so see the ocean. Pool is clean and easily accessible. The rooms are clean and the AC works great. We enjoyed our stay in Kauai.

If you want the most beautiful view on Kauai….this is the place. Saw sea turtles snacking, and other aquatic creatures all from the balcony.
The description of the unit is very accurate. Read carefully.
This unit is small, as stated in the listing…700 sq ft. I would not recommend for 4 adults. This unit is much better for a couple or a family with small children.

Our family of four spent four nights in this two bedroom condo. Clean place, comfortable beds and amazing views. Drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails at night on the patio was the best part. Watching the sea turtles play right off the back patio was enjoyable for all of us. Melodee was a great host, thank you very much. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The ocean view is fantastic. We saw turtles every time we went out on the lanai which was fantastic. The location is a quick walk to great beaches.

High marks for owner Melody and the unit as well as location and view. We had some difficulty getting into the unit (due in part to my misreading of owner’s instructions. And the Vrbo agent). When I called Vrbo for help I was connected with Vrbo agent who was difficult to understand. That may have been due, in part, by his accent and my difficulty hearing him. After some difficulty finding our booking he told us our reservations had been cancelled for nonpayment of the balance due. We told him that was impossible as we had confirmation of payment and access information. He told us the information was from an owner whose name we did not know. I called that owner and she told me she owned property onKauai but this was not her property and knew nothing about our reservation. We spoke again with the same Vrbo agent that had no explanation who offered to find a similar unit at another Vrbo property at no cost to us. I reread the owner’s instructions and figured out the proper procedure and got into our unit. This was NOT caused by our host but my mistake compounded by the Vrbo agent’s to resolvethe issue by more investigation. It was a combination of tired travelers and poor communication with the Vrbo agent. He completely had the wrong information, the wrong unit, the wrong confirmation, the wrong owner ,and was unable to correctly identify our reservation that began what turned out to be a great vacation at a great spot. This was NOT an owner issue This was a VRBO CREATED error apparently based on information in Vrbo records. The agent was trying to be helpful but was relying on Vrbo records that started this one hour frustrating event.

Turtles viewed from the balcony every day of our stay. The Ocean view was spectacular. Close walk to the beach. Unit was well equipped with everything we needed and very clean as well!

Great location. Everything maintained very well. The unit has very small kitchen and eating area. We were meeting other family members so we were unable to have dinner at this unit. Luckily other families had units with area large enough to entertain.

Great views and proximity to beach. Nice area to visit with plenty of things to do. Good restaurants are very close. Small space but enough for two people. Not super luxurious but very comfortable and more than adequate for us. Recommend.

This property is just as advertised. Clean and well/maintained. Fully equipped kitchen. Well-maintained communal BBQ almost right outside the door. Beach chairs, towels, snorkeling equipment (didn’t use snorkels so can’t comment on how good they are). Comfy bed. Excellent beach 5-10 min walk away. But the standout feature is the view. You are right on the ocean with an amazing view. If you walk down a level to the pool, the view is even better. There were turtles swimming in the cove anytime we looked. On several occasions, we saw whales and there was a large group of dolphins swimming back and forth at various times. Really great location. Would suggest that you get your groceries in Lihue before driving to Poipu. Grocery store in Koloa has limited options. However, drive into Lihue from Poipu is pretty easy

This is a cute little condo. It could use some updates but we didn't spend a lot of time in it except to sleep. My fiancee and I were gone during the day taking in the island since it had been almost 30 years since my fiancee had been to Kauai. Melodee was super nice! She brought us a new beach umbrella after we realized that the one that we took from the closet was broken. We didn't find that out until it started pouring rain on us when we went to Hanalei Bay and in an effort to keep our belongings from getting soaked, we took the umbrella out only to find it in pieces! When I communicated that to Melodee, she arrived the next day with a new one which we had to use during our trip to Baby Beach. On our last day, we chose to stay at the pool and we were SO GLAD that we did! We saw a bunch of dolphins go by and there were several turtles in the water below us! Breathtaking views from our balcony and from the pool. Great location!

Our experience here was great. The unit and grounds were clean and well maintained. It had thoughtful amenities, like insulated cups and pool gear. The condo was comfortable and relaxing. There were no stairs required to access the condo. The pool was very nice. The property manager Melodee was very helpful and responsive. And the setting and view was incomparable. We would stay here again.

This was our second year at Poipu Shores. But in a different unit. This unit exceeded our expectations. Awesome ocean view, turtle sanctuary, proximity to Brennekes Beach and Poipu State Park. Not to mention restaurant and other resort amenities just a short walk out the door. We were here specifically for relaxation and this location delivered. The pool was very quiet and we enjoyed meeting other like-minded visitors from all over. The unit itself is very well-appointed with all the stuff you need in a home away from home We probably have stayed in 4 to 5 VRBOs each year all over the US during each of the last 5 years and this has been our favorite.

Located right at the edge of a lava rock cliff where waves splash high and turtles love to play. Beautiful view of Poipu Bay from the deck. Although the unit itself was smaller than we expected from the photos, it was well supplied and upscale furnishings. We had a few maintenance issues that owner took cate of immediately. We thourally enjoyed our visit.

We had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and updated as needed. Wonderful views and enjoyed the multiple turtle sightings. Also saw dolphins on our last day. The pool was wonderful. Great place to enjoy the sunset. We will definitely be back.

I have had ocean view & ocean front rooms in my lifetime but this beats them all!! The lanai is practically right over the rocks/ocean. You hear the waves crashing morning & night and see sea turtles every time you look in the water. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and really appreciated the a/c since it was August! Lovely pool area, we even got sprayed by the waves a couple times while in the pool & on the deck! Zero complaints here!

This space was perfect for our family of 4! Clean, comfortable and you can’t beat the view!!! Only 1 and 1/2 bath, but we made do. The pool was a beautiful setting and beaches were spectacular! Hated to say goodbye!

Perfect location
We loved our stay. It was so nice to hear the surf all day long plus to watch the turtles from our balcony. Short walk to Brenneckes Beach and Poipu Beach was so convenient. And we were able to see the green turtles resting at Poipu Beach. What a treat! The only issue we had was not having more seats to seat all 3 of us on the dining island. Maybe having two extra chairs would help since the unit sleeps 4 people otherwise it was very comfortable and clean.

This is one of our favorite VRBO's ever. Most of that has to do with the balcony and our ability to walk out and enjoy the surf and lots and lots of turtles nearly within reach! :-)
The kitchen is small, but well equipped. The beds are all very comfortable. Access to cable and streaming apps. Access to the condo is easy and right outside the door are the propane grills that are there for our use.
Walking access to Po'ipu beach. We ate in for almost every meal - worked very well! Highly recommended!!

This condo was really great! Loved seeing turtles everyday while we were on the balcony. The pool was very pretty and clean! Loved being able to walk down to the beach and little shopping area. Highly recommend this condo.
