Great location, a stones throw away from Plaza de Mayor with an accommodating and responsive owner. This experience was similar to some posting on-line dating apps. The apartment photos look good in the profile however, there have been many miles logged since the pictures. Some of the plumbing items need addressing: leaking sink, kitchen sink faucet that needs to be repaired, issues with the shower mixers and the apartment needs a deeper clean. Overall, the location and owner, make-up for these issues.

We loved our time at this apartment! You cannot beat the location. It's in walking distance to all major landmarks in the city and endless restaurants (not to mention right above the famous churros at San Gines). We were two families staying with four young kids and there was plenty of space. Property management was extremely responsive and communicative, even checking in with us without us reaching out. The only thing I'd say is that the apartment can get rather noisy at night on the weekends - it's right above a couple of bars and San Gines (which is open 24 hours). The two main bedrooms face out on the street so luckily we brought ear plugs :) However there are three rooms that are on the interior of the apartment and much quieter. In our opinion it was worth it for the location!

We really enjoyed our stay. There was 7 of us and we all had a great time. The host was very helpful and attentive!

This property is in the best location. Within a few minutes walking of so many major Madrid attractions: Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Mercado San Miguel, Royal Palace, just to name a few. The apartment had plenty of room for a large group. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience historic Madrid.

We really enjoyed our 9-day stay at Calle Coloreros 4. Ramiro met us at check-in and filled us in on where to go and what to see. The only caveat was the noise...neighbors above/below often woke us up in the early morning hours. Otherwise, the property was all we expected and more.
