We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa McElroy. Norman is brilliant with his communications and is available to answer any questions. The villa was one of the best we have ever stayed at and is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The area is lovely and handy for anywhere on the island. A special thanks to Lynne who was our contact in Lanzarote and was on hand for anything we needed.

Me and my wife had an outstanding week at villa Casa McElroy. We wanted a peaceful week away in the sun and that's what we got. The moment you walk into the villa you know you have come somewhere with quality. Norman made the booking process real easy and gave great advise when booking a car, which you need. The villa was spotless and has quality equipment, the views are unbelievable cascading all the way down to the Sea at Puerto Del Carmen. The Living room was very spacious, as was all 3 Bedrooms, so would suit a single couple or a family. Norman made entering the premises very easy with a very simple to follow email. The pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there by a lovely lady called Luz . The Manager Lynne called to see us and was really helpful. There are not lots to do in Tias but enough and with the surrounding Towns and villages there are ample opportunities to eat out. A great Villa and a proper home from home, would certainly recommend it.

Our stay at Casa McElroy was absolutely perfect, 10/10 This Villa is equipped to a standard above & beyond any other villa we have stayed in & as other guests have said, it really is Home from Home. The location is perfect on the island being so central & the ideal base to explore from...we would not want to stay anywhere else on future trips to Lanzarote, of which I hope there will be many Lynne the property manager is a lovely lady, nothing is too much trouble and every request is promptly dealt with. On arrival after the flight from the UK, her welcome pack of food & drink has to be seen to be believed. For those who like their home comforts, we must say Norman's TV set up is 1st class & far better than 95% of foreign hotels & villas; BBC1 & 2 ITV & CH4 are all in HD from the satellite and the internet TV provides CH5 plus literally hundreds of other channels including BT & Sky Sports, BEIN sports, Eurosport, Sky One & all the Sky film channels, not to mention various American specialist channels & virtually everything that's available in the UK on Freeview Also an App called Tune In gives access to the UK radio channels as an alternative to streaming them through your Smart phone, which by the way if you choose to, The WiFi is excellent throughout the property & even outside by the pool, so this is another very welcome & attractive feature of Casa McElroy. Immaculate & spotlessly clean in all areas, this property will exceed your expectations & ensure your stay in Lanzarote is memorable for all the right reasons. You will also be loathe to leave when your holiday ends & wish you had booked that extra week!

We are a family of four who have just returned from a week stay in Casa McElroy having stayed in Playa Blanca for our first week. It exceed our expectations and we only wished we had the full two weeks there. From the early check in with a welcome basket on our arrival to the fantastic views over Tias down to Puerto del Carmen the villa didn’t disappoint in any way. We have always found it a plus when the owners use their own property as you usually find more attention to detail. The fixtures and fittings were all of a high standard and most importantly the beds were really comfy. There is more than enough kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils for your needs. We had unusually unsettled weather for middle of October but still got to use the spotlessly clean pool and having the covered dining area on the lower deck also helped. If available we would definitely look to book again in the future. Many thanks to Norman, Lynne and Luz.

Online booking was easy to do and prompt response to any questions. Directions from airport were good and precise. Villa and outside area was large. The villa was clean with a lovely welcome pack on your arrival. Good parking for car/cars. Enjoyed our stay at Casa McElroy.

Directions were clear and easy to follow and took no more than 15 minutes from the airport. The villa was lovely and clean and the welcome pack, as others have noted, was spot on. The villa was spacious, light and airy, all that we could have asked for. Lots of recommendations were provided for beaches and restaurants and We enjoyed trying as many as we could. Will certainly recommend this to others and if we venture back to Lanzarote then Casa McElroy will be top of our list.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour d'une semaine dans la Villa de Norman. Quartier calme avec une maison très confortable, bien équipé. Nous étions début mars avec une température extérieur autour de 22° mais une piscine à 29/30 °. Nous l'avons utilisé tous les jours , c'était très agréable entre 2 balades. villa a recommandé aussi pour sa position relativement proche de tout et très accessible. Les contacts avec Norman était très sympathique. A louer sans hésiter.

It is rare anyone can come away from a villa thinking everything was there and everything worked. Just like home Casa McElroy is very quiet, well equipped with comfortable beds, quality furnishings, large open outside spaces with sea views over Puerto del Carmen. Norman was quick to respond and obliging. Lynne had ensured everything was spotless and provided a generous 'welcome pack'. The clean pool was at 28C whatever the weather and ideal for quick dip all the time.

Brilliant experience from booking through to the information & directions to the villa provided by Norman. Stepping through the door you enter the clean calm interior of the villa & the sight of the welcome pack is much appreciated after an early flight- Thank you. It is our first visit to the island which we have enjoyed exploring but coming back to the villa which is like home from home made it a perfect holiday. Thank you Norman & Hilary. We were probably the first Nordic people to stay in the Casa McElroy. We spent two fabulous weeks there during the Christmas and New Year 2017 – 2018. It was very easy to get things going with the owner Norman, and he was very helpful with his tips and guidance even before the actual staying. During the stay, there was a very helpful lady Lynne to whom you could turn if anything to ask. The Casa and Lanzarote were way more than we ever expected. The weather was very warm and the Casa fulfilled our expectations and was even better. The Casa is really a luxurious place to spend your holidays. It is very well situated, only 5 minutes ride to center of Tias or 10 minutes to Puerto del Carmen, if you want to go shopping, want to see more people or take a beach walking etc. If you’re a cooking type of person like myself, the kitchen in Casa is extremely well equipped. If you’re not or if you want to go to a restaurant every once in a while, Puerto del Carmen is only a 10 minutes away by taxi or your own car. Tias has some good restaurants as well. The view from the Casa is spectacular. In the evenings, you are very close to the sky and can see all the stars and the full moon – like we did – on its best. In the morning, if you’re awake before 8 a.m. you can see the sun rise and they sky full of colors. In the evening, the yellow sky is something you cannot see at least in the Nordic countries. The Casa is very well kept, very clean and everything at place. The pool area and surroundings is very nice, and the heated pool with very warm water is comfortable even in colder days (which we did not experience). It is windy every day, but on poolside it’s only a plus. The wind does not get there too much, and the breeze that is coming in is appreciated. We cannot do anything else but to highly recommend the Casa for everyone who wants to stay in rest and peace with the possibility to easily ride over to more lively neighborhood. We had a lovely holiday in Tias. The villa contained everything we needed as was spotless. We were most thankful for the welcome pack which greeted us on arrival. It was fantastic - the best we have received at any Villa. Lynne and Luz were fantastic too. I'm sure we will be back!

The villa is everything you need for your well earned holiday. The description of the property is exactly as described and all the facilities were all in good working order. The booking process was easy and the communication from Norman from start to finish was prompt and defined. The villa is in a quiet residential area in Tias, so a car is a must, and is only a ten minute drive from the airport, and to Puerto Del Carmen again only a 10 minute drive. No problems finding the villa and I note that there is a handy torch by the keypad if you do arrive in the dark. In Tias you have you local Supermarket so you can do your food shop here, but the welcome pack supplied by Norman was well received and included all the right provisions you need to get you over the first day. There are also coffee shops and bars in the town and a pharmacy if needed. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely property, and would have no reservations of booking to stay here again. Thank you to Norman & Hillary for letting us stay in your villa, to Lynne for making our stay comfortable and her hospitality shown when I asked for an extra towel and to Neil (the pool man) who had great local knowledge and more importantly for keeping the pool clean.

The house and pool are very nice. Located in a quiet area on a hill with a view over the Atlantic Ocean.

First impressions as you arrive to the gates, WOW. Secure solid beautiful gates lead you into another world set by whirly paths that lead to this beautiful clean spotless property and as you enter the door, the views that we saw on the website, do not do it justice. There is that sense of floating above the blue filled sky when you look out to the view, its almost unreal yet dreamy and breath taking. The whole property was well equipped and each room and bedroom designed with thought and comfort in mind, little things such as heaters and fans in each room in the wardrobes, there, yet out of sight. We settled in immediately with a cup of tea and coffee and were grateful that someone had been to the property, realised we were not there and clearly delayed and decided to turn the alarm off and leave the front porch light on for us. The thoughtful mysterious person we had the pleasure of meeting the next day was, Lynne from TNL property management. Despite the brilliant communications with the owners Norman & Hillary, one document we forgot to print was the directions to the property. what should have taken us 10 minutes journey from the airport, took us over an hour and finding the alarm turned off and visibility when we arrived, we truly appreciated and knew there and then that our stay here will be not only made comfortable by the beautiful property but also the person who manages it on the behalf of the owners. The owners Norman and Hillary have put much thought in not only their home but the thoughtful detailed guide book on Lanzarote prepared by themselves with do's, don'ts, places that are worth seeing, places to eat, medical information, infect nothing in the well presented guidebook was missed. Furthermore, having Lynne was a blessing, full of knowledge, has time to guide you in the right direction and kept the place spotless. Also when we informed her that the pool man had been, she acted on that immediately and when manyana(tomorrow) came so did Neil, the pool man. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely property, a beautiful property within the Tias area of Lanzarote. Casa McElroy is a luxurious villa set on a lovely elevated site providing everything you need for a relaxing, pampered holiday. We especially liked the lovely pool deck with heated pool and large pergola for al fresco dining and shelter from the sun when required.

Luxurious villa situated in a peaceful setting with spectacular ocean views.Spacious accommodation, clean and well maintained has been tastefully decorated. Short drive from the airport was a bonus. With consideration to modern living, excellent internet access allows ease of contact with friends and family. Panoramic views from indoors gives a feeling of al fresco even when indoors. The outdoor space is extensive with a variety of areas to suit your mood whether that be reading a book in a shady corner, doing yoga or excercise on the extensive terrrace, or dozing in the pergola after some water aerobics, in the very inviting heated pool or simply soaking up the rays poolside. Despite the peaceful location, the local supermarket is convenient well stocked. The barbeque area is ideal for those nights you just cant drag youself away from the poolside. The beautiful beach at Playa Honda/Guacimeta is about 10mins away by car, with a great promenade for a stroll, running, skating or cycling. This area is busy both by day and by night with a nice variety of coffee shops bars and restaurants. Among our favourites was Marilyns for a coffee and in the evening Casa Terre for tapas and La Barca for french cuisine . For those who just have to shop Arrecife is a picturesque city, set on the waterside also with a lovely beach. We enjoyed a trip to the Arrecife Gran Hotel where the glass elevator takes you to the coffee shop with panoramic views across the city, beach &sea. The new Marina in Arrecife has some nice shops and restaurants. Arrecife itself has some interesting shops and streets to explore. However the laid back atmosphere around the Charco, whether it be morning coffee, lunch or a late evening dinner is 'chillax' to a tee! Excellent customer service. Will definitely be recommending this to family and friends.

Casa McElroy is an beautiful and spacious place to spend your holidays. Everything you need plus lots of extras will be available. Wifi is really good, TV with all the BBC channels and a complete equipped kitchen. The views are amazing. Contact with the owner was extremely good to. There was a problem with the swimming pool heating and this was solved within hours. We spend Christmas here and we really want to come back to this great place.
