About this house rental
Nestled in Toowoomba, this lovely house for $192 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Situated in the quiet Jacaranda lined streets of South Toowoomba, you'll find yourself immersed in an early 1900's workers cottage. Ambiente Cottage has 2 bathrooms and the capacity to sleep 6 guests. The cottage boasts a fully functional kitchen and laundry, wifi, netflix, BBQ, 2 single beds and 2 Queen Beds, Cot and Highchair (available on request). The large secure yard with access to the double bay shed means that Ambiente Cottage is both pet and family friendly. Walking distance to corner store, CBD and Base Hospital. It is in close proximity to Queen’s Park, Empire Theatre, Toowoomba City Golf Club, Gabbinbar Homestead and Preston Peak Winery. We appreciate that its nice to be able to cook your own meals whilst away so we have provided a fully equipped kitchen including; cook books, electric mixer, nespresso machine, blender, baking equipment, new microwave, dishwasher, plus pantry staples to get you going.... We also provide our guests with a few goodies on arrival; bread, milk, juice, butter, cereals and more. There are two Queen Size beds, and two single beds. All beds have new mattresses and bedding and are super comfortable. We also have a fully assembled cot available for use if requested. There are two bathrooms; the main bathroom includes a shower over bath, the second bathroom includes a level access, walk in shower. The instant hot water system and great water pressure will ensure a fantastic shower. There is a laundry with a new front loader washing machine, dryer, iron and board. We also have some pet towels and blankets for use during your stay. There is a Smart TV with Netflix and wifi to ensure the whole family is entertained! There is a new reverse cycle air-conditioner in the lounge area and in each of the bedrooms. Outside the garden is secure, landscaped, with a BBQ, patio area, table and chairs. The cottage is fully fenced with access to the large double bay shed. Further off street parking for up to 2 more cars is available in the driveway. Park your car and walk. We are close to everything! We have a cot and high chair at the cottage and can put you in touch with baby sitting services if required. There are toys, games and books for all age children. Please note there is a minimum 2 night stay for the property, however this may change during peak periods and public holidays. Discounted rates may be available to stays greater than 7 nights. All of the house is available for you to use. There is ample on and off street parking and a large double lock up shed available for use. Pets are more than welcome to stay at the cottage. We do ask that pets are not left inside unattended whilst you are not home. We also kindly ask that pets are not allowed on any furniture or bedding - red paw prints do not come out in the wash! We can put you in touch with a wonderful pet sitter if required.

Our stay at the Ambiente Cottage was outstanding. It provided everything we needed in a safe and quiet location. The cottage was beautifully renovated while retaining it's beautiful heritage. We appreciated the extra comforts that Hollie has provided. Communication with Hollie was excellent and we will definately stay there again.

For a short get away before work gets crazy, this was the perfect place to stay. Hollie had everything you could need in the beautiful cottage, and our stay was cozy and comfy - exactly what we needed.

This beautiful little cottage, a few kilometres from town. I would describe as perfect place to stay while visiting Toowoomba. Beautifully furnished, amazing comfortable bed , arrived to find a amazing range of food items in the fridge and cupboard. Which was greatly appreciated, the house is warm and inviting as soon as you step through the front door you see how much Hollie takes pride in the house for her guest.

Abmbiente Cottage was the perfect place to stay for our family Christmas. The cottage was comfortable, homely and the extra touches were really special.
I loved walking in and seeing the house decorated for Christmas, this was wonderful. The loaf of bread, milk etc.. in the fridge was really appreciated.
The cottage was in a great great location. We loved walking the dogs into town for a coffee.

Perfect little getaway home
If your looking for people who go the extra mile to make sure you settle in then this is the place to stay. On arrival we were greeted with an essentials kit as well as most of the things you take for granted in your home cupboard and fridge. The house is beautiful with all the extras you could think of including a shed. The outdoor area is a perfect size to brave the cooler weather and enjoy the outdoors. Perfect place for kids and pets, yes no need to book the pet resort!

The cottage was just the right place for us. Suited our puppy Charli..large back yard and fully fenced. Hollie has done a wonderful job providing a super comfortable home for a short stay. Provisions were extra special ..didn't need to shop!!!

Lovely home with extras
We loved our stay at the cottage. So many extras in the kitchen for our use. The house was well maintained, clean and love the big backyard for Jake to run and play. Will definitely reccommend this place to our friends. It was our home away from home. Thank you so much Hollie for accomodating us!

Everything we needed in one place
The ambiente cottage was clean and comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for our short (2 night) stay - the fresh bread, milk and juice on our arrival was a lovely touch! The property is completely fenced in so we knew we could let out puppy run outside with no issues. It was also conveniently located to the centre of town. We would recommend this place to anyone with a furry friend.

AAA+++ Gorgeous cottage for families & fur babies - handy location, lots of extras!
We had at wonderful weekend at Hollie's immaculate cottage. Our girls said it was the prettiest place we'd ever stayed! (Even better than the photos). Beautiful decor, comfy beds, and a very efficient reverse cycle aircon that kept the whole house warm. Very pet friendly - even a doggy door and food bowls. Lots of extras, eg pantry staples, milk, juice, quality tea, eggs, bread and Tim Tams. Loved the garden too. Thanks so much Hollie! A very special stay. :-)
(The cottage also has a good little set of shops an easy walk around the corner - bakery, cafe, Chinese, fish shop and a friendly IGA with chooks and pizzas.)

Firstly communication with Hollie the owner was excellent.
On opening the door you knew it was fresh and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with every implement needed to muster up a gourmet meal. Fridge too was well stocked.
Such a joy to know our little dog was safe in the large secure manicured garden. ( no bindis) With a storm on the first evening we could place our vehicle in the shed at the rear. Even a great outdoor area for a bbq or whatever you wanted to do - coffee and company for us. Absolutely loved our stay and the central location.

The communication from the start was very prompt and precise and this continued throughout the process.
Upon arrival (Christmas eve), we were greeted with a festively decorated house for Christmas.
The house was very clean and secure with all you could possibly need for cooking in the good sized kitchen. The bedrooms are generous in size with decent cupboard/drawer space and hangers for clothing.
The yard is large and gardens are very well kept. Importantly for pets, the yard is secure.
The double bay shed is big enough to fit most cars and locks securely.
Overall, this is a wonderful and charming cottage style house with everything you need to feel at home. The mangers/owners are exceptional and make themselves available should you need anything. They really went the extra mile to help our stay for Christmas a memorable one. Highly recommend!

Surrounding
Ambiente cottage was such surprise for us, it is 3 buildings away from Ruthven street and yet it so quiet and peaceful. The beautiful cool breeze that flows in from front door during the day and night and the older furnishings with the new, capture the surrounding atmosphere of the cottage's past and present making for a most relaxing stay.

What a warm welcome. Came to Toowoomba for our family Christmas lunch, gathered them from all over to stay at Ambiente Cottage. Gorgeous cottage with so many personal touches. The Christmas tree was up, magnificent fireplace mantel decorations and so many other Christmas touches. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and the best stocked kitchen and pantry for lunch for many people. Such a pleasure staying in a well located and appointed home Stayz. Perfect for us 6 adults and our Toowoomba family for a get together lunch. Megan was quick to answer any questions we had and most accommodating. Highly recommended for a beautiful stay. Oh and the air conditioning was a blessing late afternoon. We will be back

We loved our recent stay at the Ambiente Cottage. The house was very tidy and well stocked, it even had a fresh loaf of bread and milk! The property manager was lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again!
