Quick review: Not super clean, but probably great for a one-night rental for a birthday party or such WHEN the backyard amenities are available. For a multi-night/family stay, not as worth it. Overall, our stay was disappointing due to two main areas: lack of cleanliness and lack of amenities. As far as cleanliness, just don’t come in with high expectations and you might be alright. The host very graciously provides food in both the refrigerator and pantry, however this is apparently not cleaned between guests (I don’t know about you, but an open and half used taco kit that is open to the air doesn’t scream clean or caring about the place). A couple of other examples for this category: garbage can half full and smelly and moldy bread in the breadbox. For lack of amenities, again if you have lower expectations or are able to receive explicit answers to questions regarding anything beforehand, then you will probably be fine. To outline items of note that you may wish to know regarding missing amenities: ~ the pool is closed October to May (totally reasonable, but not noted anywhere) ~ the hot tub is closed due to COVID (again, simply not stated anywhere) ~ there are only 3 washcloths, so pack some if you have more people than that staying ~ there were no hand towels, although not a problem to use a regular towel since there were plenty ~ the kitchen is quite well stocked (toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, George Foreman grill, lots of plates, bowls, silverware, cake pans, muffin tins, serving bowls), but there are some obvious things missing: no cookie/baking sheets, only one plastic cooking spoon (not slotted), and pots and pans consist of only one small saucepan and two XL Dutch ovens, no lids ~ while there are plenty of extra sets of sheets, there was only one extra blanket and a couple of extra comforters Other general house notes that you may find helpful to know beforehand: ~ it is a bath and a half with the full bath being a jack-and-jill between the 2 queen rooms ~ the “kids’” bedroom is immediately inside the front door ~ there is one driveway parking space, other parking is on street ~ lots of personal items (photos, knickknacks) ~ other people may be on and off the property depending on day/schedule This may not seem like much, but when piled up with other smaller issues it all added up to disappointment.

Contrary to the representation in the Vrbo website, the house does not have two full bathrooms. It has one odd bathroom with two sinks, a shower and a toilet and one half-bathroom with a sink and a toilet.

Rosie’s house was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool and bag toss on the patio.

Great layout and very convenient to local needs/attractions!
Great layout and very convenient to local needs/attractions!
Beautiful, resort-like home perfect for our large family of 8. The house has a nice open floor plan and plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans, etc., an island with bar stools, kitchen table & chairs, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and oven. As a family we cook a lot and together. We had enough space to move around the kitchen and had more than enough accessories needed to prepare and serve our large group. Home was exactly as described and comfortably fit all of us. There was plenty of bedding and towels for all adults. There are four televisions throughout the home (One in the living room with a stereo/CD/DVD player and one in each of the 3 bedrooms). Cable is connected to all the televisions. Plenty of toys and games to keep kids entertained. Front load washer and dryer in the laundry room with an iron board and iron. The backyard is stunning, just as pictured! Special lighting inside and out is provided to make your stay even more memorable. A few minor items that were mentioned to the owner but nothing major. Rosemarie was very responsive, it may a world of a difference! We had no disappointments for our entire 3 days and plan to stay again. Book your stay today!
