About this house rental
Away from the crowds but only 30-40 minutes to attractions, beaches, Cocoa, Daytona. Fully equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, large pool. Close to many restaurants, shopping , downtown Orlando. Quiet secluded back yard and relaxing porch. Minutes off major highway I-4. Laundry available. Bedroom #1 has king bed with en suite bath. Bedroom #2 has a double bed, with 2nd hallway bathroom, adjacent. The house sleeps 4 comfortably, but can accommodate 2 extra with third bedroom, if needed. There is a $35 per night fee for the third bedroom. Cots for small children & pac-n-play for babies, plus lots of toys for different ages. Plus there is an outdoor shower! WIFI Play in the pool or just relax on the back porch. Pool is not heated. Pet friendly with one $50 pet fee. CHECK IN is 3pm unless early check in is requested.

In all our years of VRBO-ing, I can't remember a property I've enjoyed more. Comfortable, spacious, attractive, and that amazing backyard: huge pool, covered seating, and outdoor shower. Well appointed and well hosted. We loved our time at Maitland Oasis!

I took my two kids on a little vacation to visit old friends in Longwood area and we had an amazing time! The pool is huge, the house is clean and comfortable- beds were comfortable. I’d highly recommend this place if you are coming to town to visit nearby family or friends. It’s a great house to entertain in. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Amazing vacation

Maitland Oasis is a wonderful house conveniently located to anything one would enjoy restaurants, shopping or attractions offered in the area.
The house was very comfortable for our stay of a month. Many meals were shared at the bar area on nights when we choose to eat-in as the kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable with nice linens provided.
The highlight of the house is the back porch and pool area. While the weather was too cool to use the pool, the area provided a lovely area for lunch and afternoons relaxing and reading. It is totally enclosed and private. The landscaping is very attractive with flowers blooming. The waterfalls provide a relaxing sound throughout the day. Additionally, the porch has lovely lighting at night and a grill is provided for grilling out.
The house has many areas to admire and ample reading material is available. The sunlight though the stain glass hanging in the living room window was beautiful with the pool glistening in the background.
We were there for a month during the COVID pandemic and the house offered everything we needed to be content with limited activities. We did eat at several good restaurants in Winter Park, Maitland and Lake Mary while we were there and found each of them following Covid precautions. Many beautiful areas are available with a short drive where crowds are not an issue. This was one of the major advantage of the house is the convenience to other areas surrounding.
While visiting Maitland Oasis one will find the neighborhood to be very extremely quiet and peaceful.
Lisa is a wonderful host who responds to any questions and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and other activities. I certainly appreciated her hospitality and responsiveness.

Maitland Oasis is a wonderful house conveniently located to anything one would enjoy restaurants, shopping or attractions offered in the area.

We were also turned off by the family pictures and the locked doors, which at first made me wonder if we stepped into someone else's house. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Property is just as listed. This was a quiet residential neighborhood fairly close to shopping. Very nice place to relax and unwind from the stress. Out back by the pool was private well maintained very enjoyable

Quiet relazation
The home was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet. Overall, we had a very nice stay. And it was great to find a pet friendly home for our two cats.
If we return to the Orlando area, we would certainly reach out to Jan and rent her place again.

Hidden Paradise
This property is a hidden gem. The home owners are most accommodating and gracious. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation this is a great place. It is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood away from the highway and resort noise, yet in close proximity to I4 and numerous restaurants and shopping. The house has comfortable furniture and many amenities. The back porch has the feel of being in your own little tiki bar with an eclectic decor and lighting and a relaxing stereo system. We spent hours enjoying the back patio, large pool, and hot tub with an outside shower for additional convenience. We would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. You can opt to spend hours in private in the patio/pool area and when you choose take a short drive to go shopping or dining.

Paradise
Me and my husband enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home very much! Even with some cooler weather on some days during our stay we felt so comfortable and relaxed thanks to Jan and Paul, and their wonderful neighbor friend, Dell, who are wonderful hosts! Everything we needed was available plus. A welcome basket of snacks, and coffee and teas was waiting for us as well. The house and decor is so interesting and delightful, and the patio area so relaxing and whimsical. It was so nice to see the lovely Christmas tree and decorations as well. The home is also very accommodating for my disabled husband, and very private in a lovely neighborhood. We really enjoyed using the outdoor shower, and I enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings. The landscaping is gorgeous as well, truly an oasis. Wish we were back there right now! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend.

It was an eclectic, light, and fun place to stay with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed the home.
This was such a fun VRBO and it had so much character. The decor is eclectic and cozy, but definitely not modern or contemporary if that is your style preference. The gardens are amazing and the patio is fantastic! The VRBO says that it sleeps 5 but truthfully, there are only two bedrooms and then two couches so realistically, it sleeps 2 couples or 3-4 people comfortably. No complaints though! We made it work and would definitely book again if the opportunity presents itself.

Loved this home!!!! It had everything you could want or need!
The owners are amazing! Our particular stay was taken into consideration and accommodations were made available without asking! The house is so comfortable and inviting! It was a great place just to hang out and relax! From the pool and hot tub to the comfy seating areas and bedrooms, everything was perfect!

Perfect Private Paradise
What a perfect little paradise. From waking up and jumping in the pool to visiting with family and playing games on the outdoor patio to the outdoor shower, this place was everything we needed for relaxing holiday stay. The house is well equipped with all the necessities, bed was comfy and we loved looking at all the home decor! And it was nice to find a place where our son's dog could join us. We will be back!

Relaxation at it's best!
We had a WONDERFUL stay! I would highly recommend this as a relaxing get-away. Everything was just as advertised, No Surprises, except it was so much better then we expected! The house was cozy, welcoming and perfect for us. We were close to both the airport and Disney and we were within an hour of several beaches. Everything you could possibly need was available to us. So glad I found this spot. Thanks Jan for being such a wonderful Hostess.

Not great accommodations for our needs.
Although this was listed as a "sleeps 4", of the two beds, one was only a full size. With 4 women, that situation made one in our party have to use the couch. Pool was a nice feature but poorly lit for evening entertaining. Towels were well supplied, though. Master bedroom shower head was like using a camp shower and the bathroom door was irritatingly squeaky making going to the bathroom at night definitely not a secret. Kitchen was nice and well stocked with basic needs. Also, a nice basket of snacks was left on the counter to enjoy. For the nature of our visit, I would probably not rent this again. A family with only 2-3 smaller children may enjoy this home better. We brought a four year old, knowing he would use a spare cot. The owners were kind enough to provide the cot and even had some toys ready for him to use as soon as we got there. Since we traveled by plane, this was extremely helpful.

Wonderful pool, extremely private
We absolutely loved our stay at this home! Extremely private and quiet location. The pool area is amazing! You literally feel like you have no neighbors even though they are right next door. The home was very clean and well stocked with provisions. The welcome basket was a nice touch as well. Owners were very easy to deal with and responded quite promptly to any questions we had. Overall great experience! We would highly recommend.

Beautiful pool, clean home, great location
This home provided exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful, large pool and separate hot tub in a nicely landscaped, private back yard for 2 quiet days with a day trip to Universal in between. Loved the laid back, eclectic style of the outdoor sitting area and BBQ. The owner was very responsive to messages prior to our arrival and everything was in such great order there was no need to reach out to them upon arrival. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for more privacy than a standard resort can provide in this area.

Great Place very private
We booked place from Wed., March 21 to March 28. Got there at 2 am on Thursday morning, my daughter was in a wedding so it was very close to the event. Ran around all day Thursday and Friday and Saturday finally able to relax on Sunday til Wednesday morning. Jan has plenty of books to read, started reading The Ice Trap, great book and Jan told me I could have it because I didn't finish reading it. THANKYOU . Place was great, plenty of room and really appreciated the coffee that Jan left us for Thursday morning. It was quite chilly but on Monday the 26th was able to go in the pool and jaccuzzi. Packed up Tuesday evening so we can get a head start out in the morning and go to Melbourne were I know the area better. The house had everything that we needed. The Altamonte Mall was fantastic. A great place to stay especially if you have children and just want to hang around. I didn't like driving on Altamonte Drive or anywhere because I kept getting lost. lol But it was a good choice to stay there. THANKYOU

Absolutely loved it !!!
At first we were overwhelmed ... so many things all over (pictures, posters, flags, etc), but after settling in, we sat outside to relax, and with the wonderful music and a good bottle of wine which was kindly provided by the owners, we started to relax and to enjoy looking at all their souvenirs.
We spent 2 weeks there, and actually hated to have to leave. There is a terrific outdoor shower which we used every single day. The pool is great, and even though the water was a ''refreshing'' 80 degrees, we went in almost every day.
Everything you need is provided, from pool towels to kitchen spices. As usual, we brought down a lot of clothes with us, so we had to squeeze a bit in the master closet, but that's our fault. We come from Quebec, and not knowing what weather to expect, we tend to bring clothes for cold and hot weather. This was our 12th consecutive year of coming to Florida, and we had the best weather yet this year !
So we thank you, Jan and Paul, for letting us live in your wonderful house the those 2 weeks. We had a simply TERRIFIC vacation!

Interesting house with a lot to look at from around the world. (Not recommended for children) We loved the private backyard tropical oasis. The neighborhood dog sitter was great. Too cold to enjoy the pool but the hot tub and outdoor shower were awesome. It’s very conveniently located to the highway that is a direct route to Universal and Disney.

We loved to stay in this great house. Everthing was very clean and we felt at home from the first moment. The pool area is even better than the pictures show it! The water wasn't really warm anymore but we used the pool as often as possible anyway. Another highlight was the outdoor shower, which we used almost every day. The inside of the house is very spacious and many of the small things of the everyday life, like spices, were provided. The house is located in a nice and very quiet neighborhood. The drive to the theme parks takes a little bit longer but that didn't bother us at all, as we were in Orlando to visit family who lives only 10 minutes away. We can't wait to come back and stay in this beautiful house again!

My stay was right after hurricane Irma which might have attributed to some of my concerns. The owners were very nice and I could tell that they love their home but it was not what I was expecting or use to with previous VRBO rentals. The owners were kind enough to understand my concerns and allowed me to shorten my stay.
