Great location, directly positioned near the beach.

The location and homeliness of the cottage. A very well equipped kitchen. Outside Bbq and pizza oven were also much appreciated.

It was not very clean - the bathroom, kitchen, floors felt grubby - lots of stuff everywhere - it needs a big tidy up and clear out. The 3rd bedroom is only good for children and is not private as it is a room above the lounge/kitchen area. The landlord’s cottage is in the same building and the outside sitting area directly facing his windows - we didn’t see much of him but this is the first time we rent a home with the landlord on site and we felt a bit uncomfortable. The garden is wild and needs to be cut back and tidied up as it could be a lovely space- The decking is rotten in places and needs to be replaced- in fact we put a foot through it which could have resulted in an injury. The sauna is out of action with yet more things in it.

We loved the quirkiness of Mousterlin Cottage - the walls are covered in paintings and has a relaxed feel. If you like swimming in the sea you couldn’t choose a better location. The owner lives on site and was very welcoming. If you like rustic and informal, you’ll like Mousterlin Cottage.

We were staying as a couple but for a family or larger group, the accommodation and facilities would be rather small. We used the downstairs bedroom which was cool during a mini heatwave but the upstairs rooms in the roof would have been far too hot. Take pillows - We picked this tip up from another review!
