What an amazing place. Very rural and relaxing. They also want to incorporate the guests with knowledge about the ecotourism and what it takes. Never the less the place is build and designed so well. The staff is so nice. The seasonal menu's are very tasty.

Nothing negative but you have to get into the vibe, it takes a minute. There is a lovely pool which is basically a well maintained pond with plants and life, but that's the whole idea about it, and when you embrace it, you enjoy fresh water maintained mostly by nature and no need to take the chemicals off you after a swim. Sometimes you smell the sheep, or the chickens, but the thing is they provide your eggs, meat, cheese and so on, so it's a bit "weird" in the beginning but as far as luxury, good food and a smaller footprint with tourism goes, this is the place to be I think.

What I valued during my stay at Can Buch: the setting/location; the fresh, clean air; the quiet and tranquility except for a multitude of birdsongs, frog croaks, bubble bee hums, and sheep baaing; the farm to table meals offered 3 times/ per day (a full breakfast is included in the stay); the hiking trails that begin on the property; and the staff, who had a sense of humor, always congenial, knowledgeable about the area and the trails, and knew how to handle guests' requests ASAP. Best of all the ambiance of Can Buch engenders respectful guests.

I found nothing to dislike.

Fantastic stay in fantastically beautiful surroundings. A true oasis of calm with the most friendly people, delicious and honest food and, above all, a dream location with ridiculously beautiful accommodation. We will definitely be back and even though we only stayed here for 1 night we went back home completely relaxed!

Magic place 🤩 Everything is beautiful, relaxing and delicious.

Amazing spot. Beautiful building, rooms, pool, garden, but above all: people. Everything this location does is related to sustainability. From recycled napkins and toilet paper to a biobass pool to serving self harvested vegetables and meat in their restaurant. It’s not just a stay, it’s an experience of how to disconnect and be in balance with nature. We stayed with our family and three kids. I loved every single bit. and of course, it did help that we could easily put the kids to bed first and later enjoy a three course menu in their lovely restaurant only 10 metres away from our room where our kids were sleeping. Food was amazing, so is their carefully selected wine.

The place is as beautiful as the pictures. The owner and staff are polite and professional and maintain the place beautifully. The decor is tastefully done with attention to the little details that you will notice everywhere on the property. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Getting to the place was a bit of a challenge. We used Google maps for navigation and it took us to a place off Amer town where there was no proper road. It was an off-road drive for more than a couple of kms, so we called the property for directions and had to take a different route which added 30-40 mins to the trip.

Our stay at Can Buch was amazing! The values of Gerard and how he takes care and grows the property are really aligned with our life values. The place is beautiful, calm, the food is amazing and the staff was really nice to us. A perfect weekend getaway!
