Wonderful three night stay

Lovely. clean, comfortable self catering accommodation, located in a central location convenient for all the restaurants, cliff path and all the interesting individual shops.

would now not stay anywhere else - it was superb

Gina was lovely and engaging and helpful - we arrived on time and she was available to meet us and take us into the apartment and show us how everything worked.

1) Window in the bathroom downstairs didn't lock - mentioned when leaving so trust it has been sorted. 2) QR Code link didn't work and we weren't given any information on daily load shedding which would have been helpful.

Excellent accommodation in central Hermanus

Perfect size apartment, perfect location, very comfortable. No noticeable issues with load shedding.

Lift was out of order, and there was a strange musty smell in the communal areas.

Lovely accommodation

The property was finished to a high standard, was very comfortable and clean. Good central location and the secure parking was an unexpected bonus. There were lots of extras which made the apartment more like home than a rental property. Very nice. 👍

The only suggestion would be to put an outer door on the downstairs bedroom as the bathroom is not ensuite. Guests in the ground floor bedroom are exposed if they want to use their bathroom facilities as it is right next to the kitchen. An outer door would solve that problem. Difficult for people with mobility problems as there are a number of stairs and the lift was out of order.

Enjoyed our stay in Hermanus.

Location.

Complicated code system. Forgot to take sheet with codes so had great difficulty getting into our apartment at night. Our fault entirely but did speak to a contact eventually who gave us the relevant codes. Eloise was very patient and very helpful.

Exceptional

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Marine Square Luxury Suites! The standout of my experience was undoubtedly Gina Beanie, whose kindness and unwavering assistance truly made my stay memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, making me feel incredibly welcome and showing incredible kindness. Gina is undoubtedly an asset to the group. The apartment itself was a true gem – modern, impeccably clean, incredibly spacious, and wonderfully comfortable. It's clear that the management has taken great care to ensure guests have a top-notch experience. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of comfort and attention to detail. I am already looking forward to my next visit, thanks to the outstanding service and the delightful accommodations. Marine Square Luxury Suites has won me over, and I will definitely be returning again. Kudos to Gina Beanie and the entire team for creating such a remarkable experience!

Worst weekend ever

Very central

The smell of lavender was so overpowering that my nose was blocked the following morning. They were trying to mask the smell of the damp in the flat. The ceiling was collapsing from damp. Walls were bubbling due to damp. Drain was blocked. Shower door was so stiff from neglect. The ceiling trapdoor was open. The diesel fumes from the generator wafted into our room. The worst weekend ever.

An absolute treat. A truly luxurious stay. A solid 10/10.

Absolutely perfect stay! There is nothing I can find fault with. The host was outstanding, always quick to communicate and very helpful. The apartment was super luxurious, the beds were super comfy, the location is perfect. I loved staying here. I give it a solid 10/10.

Fantastic apartments, exactly like the brochure photos. Helpful, friendly, and welcoming staff. Restaurants shops a short flat walk away. Secure parking underground. Our first time in Hermanus would definitely come back. Thank you Gina .

Gina and Eloise were welcoming and extremely helpful, the apartment comfortable and the perfect base for a 3 day stay in

Great location, close to cliff walks, shops and markets. Apart from exploring nearby vineyards and surrounding areas we didn’t need the car at all during our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Unfortunately, load shedding (completely out of their hands) had quite a big impact on us as we were traveling with my elderly father who was unable to use the stairs when the lift was not advised. This is being addressed in the new years budget to everyone’s relief!

Very good

Clean, spacious, bright. Location was great. Walking distance to shops, restaurant and coastline. Awesome that the WiFi works during loadshedding . Great that they provide a gas plate with kettle and a gas braai so we could still have hot food n coffee in the cold evenings. They also provided rechargeable lights. All the crockery and cutlery available, except a tongs for the gas braai. Love the balcony which was semi protected from the wind n rain. Security is great in that u need codes to get in and out of the building. Host was friendly and accommodating of our needs. Stayed here previously and will definitely return.

Loadshedding. Was quiet after dark as it was not season time so it felt a bit isolated. Short of 2 things, being such a large apartment, it could do with a bigger TV and a coat/bag rack, maybe fixed to the wall, as there's plenty wall space in the entry way. We ended up using the chairs to hang jackets n bags. Other than that we had a really good stay.

Perfection wrapped up in modern furnisher, comfy beds, perfect locations, great luxury living

I loved everything. The location is perfect. Close to shops, restaurants and beach. The apartment was beyond what I expected. Truly a luxury gem.

Very heavy winter duvet on the bed. We don’t use air conditioning so a heavy duvet not necessary

Not really luxury. Wouldn’t go back.

The location was great close to the front, shops and eateries. The building was secure and generally quiet.

The only “comfy” seating was a very low uncomfortable sofa. There was no dining table only a breakfast bar that faced the back wall. The picture on our booking showed a >3 person dining table on the patio. We got a 2 person version (no room for a bigger one) with no shade from the sun. Apparently the bigger tables and shade only apply to the multi bedroom apartments. Whereas it is to the owners/managers credit that they have installed a generator for wifi and lifts etc during the circa 4hrs/day load shedding it is a pity that the exhaust fumes made our little balcony unusable.

Very good

Spacious, light, well designed, good bed and pillows, good TV. Lovely view from the balcony.

The apartment needed freshening up, walls repainting, rusty bbq needs to be replaced. Cushion covers need to be washed. Safe didn’t work because batteries have corroded, some broken curtain hooks need to be replace on bedroom curtains. These are all minor items but reflect more attention to detail that would turn a v good rating into exceptional
