This fee is paid at the Halii Kai office upon arrival. Amenities: Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler. Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex. Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom. Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment. No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free. Parking: Parking in the garage and tandem style in front of the garage. Maximum two cars allowed. Must have parking pass on dashboard throughout your stay. Parking Passes provided upon arrival. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed. Swimming Pool: Yes onsite at Halii Kai Hot Tub: Yes onsite at Halii Kai Fitness Room: Yes, fitness room onsite. Tennis Court: Tennis Court onsite on a first come, first serve basis Air Conditioning: Yes, central air conditioning throughout. BBQ: BBQ on the lanai and community BBQ near the swimming pool Washer and Dryer: All of our vacation rentals have a washer and dryer in the unit. Cable TV: Basic Cable. TV located in Living Room, Master Bedroom and both Guest Rooms WIFI: WIFI included. Linens: All bed, bath linens and beach towels provided. Kitchen: Cookware, Drinkware, Utensils, Dishware, Drip Style Coffee Maker, Blender, Rice Cooker. Please note that the refrigerator does not have any ice maker. Halii Kai 13E is located in Building 13 at Halii Kai. . This vacation home is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Halii Kai is a gated condominium community in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The Waikoloa Queens Marketplace Shops, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops are a half mile away and are great for shopping and excellent dining. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a few minutes’ drive from Halii Kai. All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner, salt/pepper plastic wrap and aluminum foil . Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores. A very good location for seniors. Excellent access to pools and food, great view, no stairs. A well equipped kitchen. Would be a great location for viewing whales.
Only issue is the wooden bed in third bedroom.

Great location! This listing is directly adjacent to the pool & restaurant; very convenient. The gated community is very clean, quite & manicured. The property has everything you would need in the kitchen. In the garage there are coolers & beach toys. They even had a descent/old set of Callaway Big Berthas w/White Hot putter. I would definitely book this again; highly recommend! I would suggest they have the carpets professionally cleaned though. They are not disgusting, they just take away from the overall impression of the property.

Such a great place! Fantastic location, next to the pool and restaurant with an ocean front view. Super comfortable and clean! Great extras like the beach chairs and coolers! We had a great time and would love to stay again! My only suggestion would be to have the key to the pool and fitness center in the condo. We weren’t able to pick it up until the following morning at 10:00am when the office opened, as a result we weren’t able to use the pool or fitness room the first night. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The space was more than enough for our family of 5. Great condo complex. Very scenic walk along the edge of the golf course to the Hilton grounds. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Halii Kai! The view was amazing although we were disappointed that the water heater was dysfunctional during our entire stay which meant cold showers multiple times. This was quite hard on our 80 year old parents. Otherwise this was a great rental and property!

My wife and I, our two elementary-age kids and my mother-in-law spent 6 days at the Hali'i Kai 13E for our kids' fall break October 2022. The unit was as described with a beautiful view from the lanai and easy access to the Ocean Club pool and restaurant right next door. We enjoyed a number of meals at the club with excellent food, service and views. We would definitely stay again.

Great trip! This was our 2nd time to Halii Kai. Love this area. Its quiet, feels safe, is close enough to things to do/good beaches, etc.
The kitchen is lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are easy to use/spacious.
We didn't use a lot of things - like the bbq, the items in the garage, etc - so can't comment on those.
The pool area is very nice, if a bit "regulated".
If I had to search for an issue -- I would say that there aren't enough towels. I felt like I was doing towel laundry a lot. But, this may be because we were with 2 little kids who need to shower before their nap & bedtime (don't want sand in beds).
Looking forward to our next trip!

This rental is perfectly nestled in the corner with an amazing ocean view providing lots of privacy! Very clean and close to the pool/restaurant area, but never noisy. All around perfect stay, would definitely stay again. Kim was so nice and allowed us to check in early, great host!

Great big island getaway
We had a great time. Being close to the property pool and restaurant was really helpful. Definitely need a car to get to grocery stores and other restaurants. Closest walking (10min) beach and coffee are at the Hilton property next door. To use Hilton lagoon is free but to spend a day at the Hilton and to use all facilities I would recommend renting a cabana. Day pass for multiple people is almost as expensive. For 1-2 people day pass is cheaper. Great and quick drive away are black beach 49 and Hapuna beach.

We had more than enough room and made full use of the well-stocked kitchen. Sitting on the lanai we were treated every day to whales "doing their thing", and beautiful stars at night. Proximity to the pool and Ocean Club Restaurant was super convenient and surprisingly quiet. The pool area has a great tropical vibe and is THE place to be for sunset. Food, drinks and service at the Ocean Club were amazing and reasonably priced for the area. Shout out to Kathy, Tiffany and Daniel who were all exceptional and helped make our trip so enjoyable.

Whales and Relaxation
Great view - watched whales for hours from the lanai - location very good for the resort amenities. Easy in, easy out, worked well for two adult couples. Would be good for a third couple or a family with kids. Right next to pool / restaurant / bar area, yet not loud or busy, so a good base.

Great location next to the pool, ocean club restaurant had awesome food. Waitress Kathy was a 10 on hospitality, can't get no better. Very tranquil place would rent again! Bicycle's would be a great addition.

The condo has nice amenities and presents as well kept and very clean. While many parts of Kona are different due to the Covid pandemic, Hali’i Kai felt as magical as ever.

Amazing Views & Location
We truly enjoyed our stay here. We selected the location based on a previous stay at the same resort-my mom has mobility issues and she was able to walk to the pool easily.
The kitchens is beautiful and has every gadget known to mankind. My husband cooked several meals while we stayed there.
The views on the patio are amazing. We had coffee every morning out there. Some of us may have even snoozed there. It is very private since it is an end unit that is next to the clubhouse. We heard no noise at all from the clubhouse.
We love that there is a restaurant and bar attached to these condominiums. It made our vacation much easier than our previous stay at a nearby resort prior to checking in since getting a reservation at restaurants are currently hard to come by.
