Took three times around the block to find. No street lights to see small “Rear” gate sign. No lights on walking path to house. Beds and bathrooms were the only two clean areas. Kitchen had food on walls, dirty utensils in sink, and spider webs in oven. Bathtub was extremely slippery. Had to put a towel down to keep from falling. Couch and two chairs in living room so worn out once you sit you can’t get out. TV speakers are blown so can’t watch tv. Fan in living room doesn’t work. Beds are cheap, but they were clean and we slept okay.

I didn’t mind this place but it was so hot in there when we arrived, then it never got cool the entire time we stayed there.

It was very private and quite. We would definitely stay here again. It's not really big but it is cozy.

There were cockroachs all over and mouse turds in kitchen drawers the air conditioning just barely worked it was really uncomfortable staying in the house because it was so warm in there. On about the 3rd day there the internet stopped working and we couldn't even watch TV. As far as the location it was perfect walked to the beach and the neighborhood was very nice and the house would have been perfect except for the nasty roaches and mice was very disturbing and disgusting.

The home is in a great location, walking distance to the strand, however, there were roaches, dead and alive. There were some crawling around in the kitchen and living room, then dead ones in the kitchen cabinet and tub. If they could bug bomb the place, I would give it a better review.

The apartment was a nice little place a couple of blocks from the beach. Everything was great but I couldn’t connect to the internet and when contacting the property manager I got no response. Having no internet connection was not a problem for me but my girlfriend had some work to do and needed the connection to get it done.

My husband and I went to stay in this cute 2 bedroom place for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect for us and our dogs because it was walking distance to the beach. The AC was good and there were so many towels which I love. The place shares a gated in garden area with 3 other homes which was great for our dogs as they had the big fenced in breezeway which was cool. Attached to the home there was a big porch with a big table and bench in it. The porch overlooked the entire garden area. It was a quaint house that was upstairs over a garage, you would just walk in behind the main house to their backyard basically and then up the stairs to this addition above their garage. The owners were responsive when we had a question

Ours start was short but nice! Just a few blocks walk to Pleasure Pier and the sea wall. The place was quiet, for the most part, clean & comfortable. Neighbors had a party late into the night-maybe be should’ve joined them! While there was equipment on hand, we couldn’t find any coffee in house & that’s the only negative thing I can say about our stay! Would come back again-with coffee pods! Lol.

Nice garage apartment
Great little place. Only downside was parking (had to walk a little bit) and the shower had very little water pressure.

This is a budget priced option for Galveston with a lot of potential. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped with a brand new stove and oven with gas burners, a large fridge and freezer, and a new dishwasher, as well as a small dining table. It has everything you need to cook. One bedroom has a queen bed which takes up most of the room, which is fine for just sleeping. The other bedroom is more spacious with two twin beds. Beds were comfortable. The apartment has nice wood floors and tile. It has a very nice balcony/deck with a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a somewhat unstable glider. The deck is covered and you can feel the cool breezes. There isn’t much scenery to see on the balcony. The house is pretty close to the beach, within walking distance. You should know this is a garage apartment on the 2nd floor, not a house on the first floor like the ad says, and it is not handicap accessible. It has steep stairs so somewhat challenging with a dog. The yard situation is also not what I expected. There is a fenced courtyard that is basically shared between the main house and a house next door. There is a long walk without pavement to get from the street to the garage apartment behind and between other houses. The lighting is not good in the yard. It looks much more new and spacious in the site than it does in real life. We did enjoy our stay, but we wished the apartment was cleaner, the two chairs were newer, and the internet had been working.
