We had a great time during our Labor Day weekend stay! The house was in a great location- across the street from the beach and next to shops and restaurants. The beds were not comfortable, but everyone in our group LOVED the couch. When booking it was unclear that this was through a vacation rental company and we had to go to an office about 10 min away to pick up and return keys. There’s very minimal information about where to put trash and recycling and when pick up is. The welcome book just directs you to the county’s website to find out yourself. Overall we enjoyed the house and would book again.

Overall we had a wonderful time, and had minimal glitches. During a storm the one skylight leaked..and was taken care of in timely manner. The dryer wasn't working properly towards end of our stay. And confusion about whether or not there was a grill..or allowed to grill. Being able to grill..could've added alittle better time to our stay..but we made other accommodations Highly recommend getting the linen package. Kitchen was decent but had basic utensils and equipment. Overall..wonderful time..perfect location..easy walk to beach..and even to other Fenwick Island attractions

We needed a last minute rental and this worked out well. It is in the heart of Fenwick, close to shops and restaurants and across ocean highway from the beach. The beach area is not crowded and is very close to northern OC. The place was recently renovated, comfortable, and pretty clean (other than a rather filthy air filter). There is one bathroom on each level that everyone shares, so keep that in mind.

We stayed for a week with 2 children, 2 teens, sister, hubby and grandparent for a last minute getaway. This interior of the house was recently renovated and most of it seemed brand new. The decor was bright and beachy. We really enjoyed spending time together on the huge, comfortable couch on the 2nd floor watching shark week on the giant TV. Pros: 1) This home is steps away from several cute shops, restaurants and mini golf. 2) The shed was stocked with lots of beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards which was a nice surprise. We were told there would be none. 3) The "teens" loved having their own bedrooms and space downstairs for some time alone. 4) The tiki bar was really cute and fun. The extra fridge downstairs was perfect for storing snacks and drinks for the beach. 5) Despite being so close to everything it was quiet both day and night. 6) About a 5-7 min walk to the beach. You need to go over a block to cross Coastal Highway at the light. Only a few minor cons that overall did not negatively impact our stay: 1) We received no welcome letter or information from the home owner. I know this is not a requirement, but its a very nice touch that we have grown accustomed to when renting. I had to call to ask when trash day was, for example. 2) The kitchen was missing what I would consider to be "essentials" like pot holders, measuring spoons, pitcher. We ended up buying these items at the nearby dollar store so not a big deal. There were plenty of pots, pans, glasses and utensils. 3) The interior staircase is tile with treads that seemed shorter than normal. We were worried about slipping but were extra careful and swept them daily. These steps would be a challenge for older guests. 4) Several interior doors bedrooms/bathrooms/downstairs did not fit on the hinges correctly and were very loud/sticky when opening and closing. This was mildly annoying but something that could be fixed easily. 5) No grill. I knew this going in, but it was disappointing to not have this option especially when we were not going out to restaurants when while social distancing. We made 99% of the meals at the home so I noticed it more. Overall, wonderful house, quiet neighborhood, close to everything. We had a great time!
