There is a car parking space next to the property. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists, with the Tour de Yorkshire passing close by, as well as the Tour de France back in 2014. There is an unlimited amount of natural beauty right on the doorstep of this beautifully designed cottage, which has been converted from an old farm building. Wensleydale Railway is a big attraction in the area, with its tracks snaking from the lowland Vale of Mowbray to the upland splendour of the famous Yorkshire Dales. This rural railway line passes through market towns, small villages, woodland and farmland, offering a great day out in some of England’s most beautiful countryside in winter. There is so much to do in the area. Nature lovers can enjoy walks in both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks, taking in beautiful countryside, from high peaks with breathtaking views to waterfalls and rivers. A little further north, the picturesque area of County Durham is also easily accessible, where you can visit the very popular market town of Barnard Castle, home to the Bowes Museum.
