The cabin was easy to find and fit our needs well. There were a few small inconveniences we experienced but nothing extreme. When we arrived the heater was not working properly but the management company acted quickly and sent out a technician to fix it when we notified them. Unfortunately the wonderful wood burning fireplace was also not in working order. We double checked that the flue was open before building the fire but the house quickly filled with smoke. The smoke detectors seemed to not be in working order either because they never went off. The house became very cold quickly since it was snowing outside. We are so grateful that a technician was able to come fix the heater as quickly as they did. Some of the dishes in the kitchen were not clean either. We had to wash the dishes before we could use them. Everything else was wonderful. Our kids loved being able to watch their favorite shows on tv while up there. The internet worked well. The rest of the house was very neat and clean.

I have stayed at this cabin multiple times in the past and have had good experiences. However, this time it was not up to the standard I had come to expect.
The entire kitchen was pretty filthy. All utensils, bowls, cups, pots, everything had to be cleaned thoroughly before use because they were visibly very dirty. I don't expect spotlessness but paying a huge cleaning fee I would expect at least some level of cleanliness in the kitchen.
There were blankets (mainly the comforter in the master bedroom) that had good sized pieces eaten out of them by (presumably) rodents. And frankly the master bedroom bed is not at all comfortable even by rental/hotel standards. If you are staying here I would strongly suggest bringing your own pillows.
One of the two lamps in the living room could not work because the switch was broken off of it.
Water pressure in the main bathroom felt like getting hit by a garden hose full blast, and would sputter on and off.
Other than those facts, it is a decent place to stay. It is a good location and well built cabin, with a good water heater and central A/C unit. It is sad to see that lack of upkeep and cleaning have seemingly brought it down in quality so much. The previous renter paid a big cleaning fee for the next just like me and I feel like they are skimping out on using that money to really clean the property well.

Husband and I stayed here for a few days with my parents and our two dogs. We loved this cabin. They have pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, no issues with Wi-Fi, everything was very clean upon arrival, and the fireplace was nice. We made great memories here and plan on returning again next year.

We loved the decor of this cabin. When searching, we wanted a cabin feel with wood panel walls and cabin decor. This place had it all with the antique finishes and inviting decor. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and the kitchen was equipped with all the cookware and utensils that we needed! The location was great. Just down the road was the market, pizza and pubs.

Great place to stay, really short walk to the lake. Check in and out was super easy. Had everything we needed, and the couches were comfy. The only complaint across the board from everyone was the beds. So uncomfortable (really spring mattresses) and only a sheet and quilt on top, so not very warm at the end of October. But other than that, loved it and will be back!

Nice cozy house with all the amenities. The home is close to everything and the neighborhood was quiet. Only complaint was the small kitchen with no dishwasher and limited counter space.

What a great cabin for my family to enjoy. We had our two daughters and their cousin up for the weekend and enjoyed every moment! Enough room for everyone. Loved walking to town! Perfect location

This cabin is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, except the seasonings. Bathrooms are nice and clean, toilets flush great. Bathrooms also have personal hygiene products and clean towels. Very cozy feeling there. I only have 3 complaints to say...1. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable. 2. Needs dusting of the spiderweb. Bottom floor room had a huge spiderweb behind the lamp.
Bbq pit doesnt cook good. It's very low flame and the propane was full. We would stay again diffently.

Everything’s very nice, except the upstairs shower in the bathroom. My husband had to clean it. It was unappealing, and I did not want to take a shower in it, until my husband cleaned it. The cleaning staff just need to focus on making sure the bathrooms are desirable to want to bathe in. Also, some of the plates were not washed well, and that’s because they don’t have a dishwasher. But the cleaning staff should check to make sure that the plates are clean.

Great location - easy to get to and right around the corner from all the restaurants in Shaver Lake. Very close to the lake as well, which was nice. Place was clean and well stocked, and actually a lot bigger and open than it looks like in the pictures. The big deck was a nice bonus, we mostly hung out there.

We loved, LOVED our stay at Dogwood Cabin. The home was so cozy and had way more amenities than we initially thought it wood. Plenty of cookware and dining ware/utensils. They even had a griddle for pancakes (I wouldn’t have taken my waffle maker had I known). The grill was ready to go with propane and the home was stocked with linens, towels, and even toiletries! There’s a smart TV so you’re able to watch all your favorite streaming channels and I had absolutely no issues with the Wi-Fi and was able to get some remote work done.
My kids had a great time in the back snow area where there were already little slopes and sledding gear. We didn’t even have to leave to find a snow park. The location was awesome. Shaver lake was 10min away and all the little stores/pubs/restaurants were right around the corner.
Since this home was dog friendly we took our two family dogs and they loved the home and snow just as much. I’m sure they out of all of us, did not want to leave.
Big thank you to Vacasa who was able to move our date out - we were originally scheduled to stay the first weekend of March but due to the heavy snowfall, HWY 168 was closed. This past weekend was perfect and we’d love to come back in the summer months.

1. No where to dump trash 2. We were not allowed access to the garage to use extra refrigerator 3. BBQ needs to be replaced 4. Lights above BBQ did not work making it almost impossible to see at night? 4. No trash bags. 5. Pantry had no room to put groceries. 6. Closets full of fans and chairs. 7. If we had not brought our own cooking utensils we would of been forced to buy them. 8. By not allowing us entry to the garage we had to store all of our camping chairs ice chests and fishing equipment in the laundry room and had to store trash inside for there is no bear proof trash can at site. I could go on but tired of writing. Home was awesome just your company makes it feel like you’re not getting what a person pays for

Great trip and accommodations. Snowed a lot and made for a lot of fun. Only negative is no dishwasher and squeaky beds. Overall we loved the cabin.

We loved this cabin!!! Great location to both the lake, hiking, restaurants, markets, and the ski slopes are not far away. What a GREAT location! Downtown was very close and within walking distance. It has a beautiful deck for entertaining or sitting peacefully enjoying the mountain air. The beds are clean and comfortable. There's a lot of spacious room for storing snacks and groceries, in addition, to being stocked with extras: K-cup and regular coffee pots, microwave, crockpot, dish soap, coffees, hot chocolate, and much more. (the extras that you forget) The laundry room is a spacious area for walking in the back door with snow gear or from the lake. The garage and parking in very spacious for a boat and several vehicles. We can't wait to spend our next family vacation in Shaver at this cozy cabin.

The cabin is perfectly nice, and spacious. However it is a little rundown and did it. You can definitely hear every step sleeping downstairs when somebody walks upstairs. I would’ve given it first starts but we got unlucky and the first two days were very hot. When the temperature is above 80 the small rooms upstairs are barely tolerable.

This cabin has it all. We've been renting it for 25 years. Great location to everything, including walking distance to the lake. It's a big hill to walk up after you visit the lake, but it's good. You can stroll down for some ice cream or listen to live music down the street in the evenings. We love this cabin.

Beds were comfortable. Two working bathrooms for six persons a blessing. Living room could have been less cluttered. We had trouble connecting to the internet. Network and password given to us were incorrect. Sorted out after an hour-long call.
