Excellent location. Easy to move around via grab. Many eating places (hawker stalls and small restaurants) within 1km radius.

The partition room door could not be closed. Towels provided were old, best to bring own towel. Sufficient electrical points and strong water supply, however the shower head in room with partition door could not be adjusted and the water supply was hitting onto the bathroom wall. Freezer was cold but refrigerator was not cold enough for chilling food / fruits.

Easy check-in. Facilities provided works well. Location is very good as it's in the middle of Georgetown. A lot of shops within walking-distance.

Lift sensor for access card is a bit faulty, need to tap a few times.

There were small bugs in the kitchen, maybe ants not sure, saw these in other flats too in Malaydia.

The aircond in the room is not cold. Had to switch on the aircond at the living room to let the cold air get inside the room.

Room was cozy, well organized and clean. Check in procedure is simple with clear and thought out instructions.

Route to parking lot is challenging

The collection of keys was easy, although before such instructions were given, I was asked via Whatsapp to place an additional deposit of RM300. This was refunded promptly after I checked out and the room was inspected. I may have missed it but I was not expecting the request for additional deposit. Checking out process was also very straight forward. Other than that, the apartment was generally fine, and everything else (i.e. washing machine, fridge, showers etc.) worked as expected.

I may be wrong, but Tropicana Tower B appears to be owned by quite a number of service providers to cater for visitor homestays. This means that at certain times of the day during our stay in the peak season, there was a crowd waiting for only 2 lifts in the lobby. We queued for quite a while on our first night before it was our turn to go up. The lobby was not sufficiently well ventilated for such a crowd, and that was a shame.

Modern design, clean and comfortable. Got ants at kitchen but still acceptable cause we don’t cook or eat in-house .

The check in time we stated during the booking was 5 to 6pm but there was a flight delay, slow custom check out and traffic jam and by the time we reached the lodging was already past 8 p,m. and the staff was patiently waiting for us to pass us the key. Thank you Seng Fai.
