Old furniture old stained carpet had no kettle. Would advise taking slippers with you as carpet stains were off putting to walk on barefoot

absolutely nothing - I suggest you take this place from your website as booking.com is a website that people trust to have standards
turning up to the hotel there were a lot of families stood around outside - no signage of where you should go - rang doorbell and was answered on entering the property there was a very overwhelming smell and was loud voices and a commotion upstairs - it was not a place that I felt would be safe for myself and partner stay in so we had to find another place to stay

The location was excellent, as it was only 200 yds away from my neice. The bathroom was clean
The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, it said there was tea and coffee, that was not true. The fridge in the room was cold, in fact cold enough to have frozen milk in the morning. The rooms were stifling hot when you first walked into them, sometimes it was unbearable. The tap on the bathroom sink was not fixed in securely and so was wobbling all over the place, Definitely was not worth the money paid for it.

Location: good
Breakfast: see below
Whilst the owner/manager is pleasant enough the whole place is a total dispiriting dump.
Looking from the outside I was convinced that I was at the wrong place and checked and checked again my smartphone Google maps before venturing inside.
My ground floor room was dilapidated and unclean. There was a fresh food (curry?) stain on the quilt cover and the room was generally unclean.
At night there was incessant heavy footed banging from the upstairs until the early hours as if people were constantly running about.
Breakfast was a very limited effort consisting of a choice between Cocopops or Cornflakes and two eggs on toast.
I have been travelling every week for 3 years round the UK staying in hotels and this is the first time I have felt compelled to post a negative review as I understand how difficult the hospitality business is at the current time.
